The sand (shifting sand) of the beach is considered the finest sand in the world, and consequently the wind easily moves it around all the time creating big, slowly moving, migrating dunes. From the lighthouse of Dueodde there is a fantastic view. As all distances on Bornholm are rather short, it is easy to visit the numerous attractions and beautiful spots that this island offers the tourist.
