You get here by taking a ferry from Rysjedalsvika, 7 km from the holiday home, to Krakhella and drive approx. 37 km out to Ytrøy in Ytre Sula. Great hiking terrain in the area near the cabin and the mountains along the Sognefjord with fantastic views. The owner of the cabin also has a small farm cabin/stable house on the farm on the mountain with the mountain Lihesten in the background, which you can visit (see last photo). The holiday home, which is a part of a house where owner lives in the other part, has a 28 m² terrace with a panoramic view of the coast and the island Barmen. From the heated, wood-fired bath barrel, enjoy the fantastic view of the scenery after a long and active day. The two single beds in the bedroom can be combined into a double bed. Loen Skylift is one of the steepest cable cars in the world, and lifts people from the fjord in Loen to the mountain Hoven (1011 m) in five minutes. At the top is the Hoven Restaurant, where you get a 210 degree panoramic view towards Skåla and Lovatnet in the east, Jostedalsbreen and Olden in the south, and out the Nordfjord which meanders further towards Stryn in the west. From Hoven can you experience the high mountains on your own in an extensive trail network. It is only approx. 20 km from the holiday home to the car park at the Briksdalsbreen glacier. Cape Hella just below the holiday house has a 180-degree panoramic view of the Sognefjord and the mountain peaks in the area. You can also go glacier hiking, climbing, paddling or cycling. A visit to Kaupanger stave church (55 km away), built around the year 1140 and one of Norway's oldest stave churches, is recommended. The "Heibergske". Collections – Sogn folkemuseum" in Kaupanger has a wide selection of buildings and objects collected from a large area. Further inside the Sognefjord is Lærdal, 66 km and a ferry ride away from the holiday house, where you can find preserved wooden buildings in the Swiss style. There is a boat for rent at the holiday house, a 16-foot boat with a 15 HP engine. The boat is moored in the owner's private marina, 30 m away. Life jackets are included in boat hire. Charming log-cottage with a turfed roof located only 25 metres from the sea. Here you have a 11 m² covered terrace with a magnificent ocean view - especially in midsummer when the sun sets at 22.45. The double bed can be split into two single beds. 2 hot plates + a small oven in the kitchen. The entrance to the laundry room in the basement of the house, can be found on the backside of the house. This is shared with a few other holiday homes. 100 metres to the motorboat in the owner's private harbour. Here you also have access to an indoor fish cleaning table with running water and lights. A fish-smoker is available. You can catch trout and salmon in Surna, a river 500 metres away. There are other rivers in the area, plus a mountain lake with trout, where you can borrow a boat. 9 km to the village of Skei with many facilities. The mountains of Trollheimen has over 200 peaks with an altitude of more than 1000 metres. Distances to different sights / cities: Kristiansund 102 km + ferry, the Atlantic Road is 131 km + ferry, Mardalsfossen (waterfall) 135 km + ferry.

Holiday cottage situated in Fauske, 4 km from the fjord. The house has been expanded several times between 1850 and 1988, and has a magnificent panoramic view facing Storhesten, a mountain reaching 1209 mamsl. There is bed space for 12 people in the cottage, but it is recommended for 8 people. There are 2 verandas with panoramic views of the impressive scenery. Almost every night you can see deer passing by or hear eagles whooshing over the cottage. The boat is situated by Dalsfjorden in Bygstad. The rivers that run here are known for its salmon, and the fish-rich narrow fjord stretches all the way to Askvoll by the coast. You can also rent bigger boats in Bygstad if you want to go further out at sea to fish. You can also rent canoes. There are many hiking trails in the area, and some of them lead up to the mountain tops. The bedrooms on the first floor are small, but you can move the mattresses to the combined living room and bedroom on the second floor and look at the fantastic view of the mountains. There is plenty of space. This is an exciting house with many possibilities and room for many people.
