Oksfjorddalen with a road to the disused Vaddas mines is recommended, and to continue on foot over the suspension bridge to the waterfall Vaddasfossen and hiking trail to Luovossskaidi (606 m). The nearest fishing pond is 1,500 m from the house. The river 500 m from the house has salmon. Remember fishing license! Great outdoor activities with picnic shelters and campfires. Northern lights and the evening sun can be enjoyed from the gazebo sheltered from the weather. The midnight sun is best experienced from Kvængangsfjellet, and in winter the Northern Lights can also be seen from the yard or veranda. Rebbenesøya is an island at the far end of the sea gap with fantastic nature and a rich wildlife. There are approximately 50 permanent residents on the island in addition to many cabins/holiday homes. Several daily ferry connections (Mikkelvik – Bromnes) make the island easily accessible by car, 1 h 45 min journey time by car including ferry from Tromsø airport. Daily bus connection on weekdays. The 45 m2 cabin was built in 2011 and has two bedrooms, a living room with an open kitchen and a large loft accessible by loft stairs. Cozy living room with wood-burning stove, Wifi, and TV accessible via Chromecast. The bedrooms have double beds. In addition, there are places to sleep for two on a mattress on the loft. There is plenty of fish in the sea around Rebbenesøya and possible to fish with a rod from shore. In winter, you can experience nature on skis or with snowshoes. Great year-round cabin with a high standard, located in beautiful nature an hour and a half from Tromsø. Here are good opportunities to experience the northern lights from the outdoor hot tub. The cabin was built in 2009 and modernized in 2015, i.a. with its own lounge section and sauna. Here you will find a jacuzzi, good storage space, nice outdoor and hiking areas. Shops and places to eat can be found a short distance away. The cabin has plenty of beds with two large bedrooms on the first floor and a large bedroom in the loft. In addition, there are two beds in the atmospheric annex. There is a living room with fireplace heating, as well as a living room in the loft as well. There is a TV screen that you can connect to your PC, remember the hdmi cable. It is mod broadband, so the connection can be unstable. Bedroom 1 has a double bed.
