The stable building is located on a former farm dating back to the 19th century, adjacent to both a nature reserve and bird watching sites. The home was completely renovated tastefully and personally in 2013, where old beams, wood, bricks, etc. were used. At the entrance you have a balcony with lovely evening sun where you have a view of the area and the Kalvöfjord. On the entrance floor is a hall and a bathroom with a shower cabin where the owner has decorated the ceiling with his old vinyl records. Half a flight of stairs down (low ceiling at the stairs) is the bar kitchen and bedroom in what was the former stable. Here much of the stable feel remains with stable stalls and untreated poured concrete floors in fine harmony with the personal interior details. The bar kitchen has a mini oven with two hotplates. Bright bedroom with open stable entrance (no door) and three single beds that function as sofas with pillows during the day. A perfect bedroom/living room for children and young people who want to live a little to themselves. Upstairs is the spacious, bright living room with high ceilings and exposed beams. There is plenty of room for the whole family in both the sofa area and around the dining table. In a cozy alcove screened off with a curtain there is a comfortable double bed. You live very idyllically with grazing cows and sheep in the pastures and walking distance to Rossö's beautiful swimming area with cliffs, jetty, swimming stairs and diving tower. Take the opportunity to hike in the nature reserve on Rossö. Here there are nice walking areas consisting of oak groves and pastures. The adjacent bay is a popular birdwatching spot with good chances of seeing both eagles and wading birds. There is also excellent fishing water for mackerel and trout, among others. Experience the archipelago and fishing villages around Orust. Take the ferry to the picturesque islands of Käringön and Gullholmen. This holiday home has a beautiful ocean view and is perfect for a family or company who appreciate a rural environment, close to the ocean and access to a relaxing bath barrel and boat. You will stay in an idyllic scenic environment with the close by pastures filled with grazing sheep’s, here you have disposal of a lawn on 4 hectares which is one part of the owners lakeside plot. You can sit down on the lovely patio where you can enjoy the beautiful view after a good meal, or you can relax in the large bath barrel which is situated on a small plateau where you can overlook the ocean. The “heart” of this holiday home is the tastefully decorated living room. Here you can find a beautiful dining area, TV corner with leather armchairs, library and a piano. Connecting with this living room is a bedroom which is equipped with a double bed, so there is no door between these two rooms. This holiday home has a modern kitchen area along with a fresh bathroom with shower cabin. There is a separate guest house included with this holiday home, equipped with two single beds, perfect for couples or teenagers who would like some privacy. There are two extra fold-out beds available; these two can be fit in the living room in the main house. The holiday home is close to beach, which is shallow and a little muddy, or you can walk about 200m to some fine cliffs where you can bathe. There is also here the boat which can be rented lays docked. Otherwise is the fine bathing spot of Rossö located 1km away, here you can find bathing ladder and a diving tower among other. There is free access to the bathing barrel which is booked on site with the owner. the boat can be booked from June to August. The owner cares for the guests' safety and therefore, the boat can only be booked in June, July and August, as a safety precaution for the unruly sea. All pre-boked and pre-ordable orders as well as deposit can be payed in Euro. We recommend you to book a final cleaning when bringing animals. The house is a former general store that has been carefully renovated in stages and now has a modern standard, but much of the old charm remains. The villa is spacious on two levels on a larger garden plot which is fenced at the back of the house with both lawn, berry bushes and hilly natural plot. Perfect if you have pets or small children. Nice patio where you can enjoy a good meal with a drink in privacy. The whole family will enjoy it here! The owners of the house live on the plot, which leads to sharing the garden with them. The entrance level houses a newly renovated country kitchen with a dining area, a large lovely dining room that also includes a cozy corner where you can read a good book.
