Welcome to live in a newly built home with a sunny location at the northern end of the Skäret area in Hamburgsund's "little Venice". The house is built right next to the canal that runs through the area, from the terrace area you can jump directly into the sea for a salt bath, then go up via the bathing ladder and then sit on the nice terrace area and enjoy breakfast and the morning sun. From the house second floor you can enjoy the sun and all the passing boats, in summer thousands of boats of all sizes and shapes pass here. The central location in the middle of the old fishing and boating community is perfect for those of you who want to be close to "everything" related to sun, swimming and summer. Through the entrance you enter a welcoming open plan with kitchen area with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher, dining room furniture, living room area with large comfortable sofa group and a warming wood burning stove as well as a WC with washing machine. From the living room there are several patio doors out onto the patio area, some of which are under the roof. Lovely places for sunbathing and for cozy barbecue moments where you discuss the day's adventures or plan for new ones. A staircase leads up to the second floor with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed, a small living room perfect for a moment's rest or a good book and a bathroom with shower. From the living room, bedroom and bathroom, doors lead out onto balconies where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings with all the boats at docks and boathouses or those passing by in the strait outside. In Hamburgsund there are nice shops, restaurants, cafes, fishmongers, mini golf and several nice bathing spots. Here you can also rent kayaks, try diving, go on boat charters and archipelago boats to see the fantastic archipelago, e.g. to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väder Islands. Just outside the community are the remains of an ancient castle located on a high mountain with a mile-long view of sea and land, a perfect excursion destination for a coffee break. A Viking market is also held there in early August. The community also has an outdoor stage "Scen på Bönn" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theatre. From Hamburgsund, a car ferry goes over to neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing spots and coastal paths with fantastic views of the surroundings and the archipelago's many islands. The cottage is geographically well located for day trips to charming coastal communities both to the north and south. Welcome to this cosy holiday home, located on the nature reserve of Valön, south of Hamburgsund. This is the perfect holiday home for nature lovers! Set on a mountain, the cottage has a beautiful view of the sea. It features two small terraces , one of which is roofed. The rent includes a rowing boat and a boat motor. The cottage is small but cosy, featuring a sofa bed for two in the living room and a bunk bed in the alcove. The size of the bunk bed is 195x80 cm, perfekt for kids! The small kitchen features the necessities and there's a freezer outdoors. The bathroom is accessed from the outside of the cottage, it has a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. Below the house you will find a bathing spot with a bathing dock. You will be living in the beautiful nature reserve of Valön where you can admire nature, go for long walks, and spot wild animals. Hamburgsund is the closest town, 9 kilometres away. Bovallstrand is 10 kilometres away. Both towns offer shops and restaurants. If you want to visit Norway, it's just a one hour-drive to Halden, and another hour from there to Oslo. A rowing boat is included in the rent. A boat engine can be pre-ordered and costs SEK 1,200.
