Welcome to a newly renovated cottage in idyllic Orust! Here you will live in a bright and modern cottage - surrounded by Orust's idyllic and lush landscape. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious terrace, where the sun warms much of the day - perfect for both barbecue evenings and pleasant socializing. Large green area on the plot for play, games or just a moment of rest. Inside, a bright living room awaits you thanks to large windows with access to the terrace. A spacious sofa, dining area for four and a modern kitchen equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, oven and microwave - everything you need to easily arrange good meals. The cottage has two separate bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. On the plot there is an annex of a simpler nature with extra beds: a family bunk bed with a 120 cm wide lower bed and 80 cm upper bed and an extra, sturdy mattress (80cm) on the floor. In charming Slussen, a swimming area with a jetty and diving tower awaits, as well as a restaurant and entertainment scene at Slussens Pensionat. This house offers space for up to eight people, making it ideal for both larger families and groups of friends. The entrance is on the first floor of the house (basement). Here there is a sofa bed (140cm) and TV, perfect for guests who want some privacy. Further inside you will find several practical spaces and as a guest you have access to the laundry room with both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Upstairs is the living area itself with three bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a double bed (160cm), and the other two rooms are furnished with two single beds (80cm+90cm) each, perfect for children or friends sharing a room. In the living room there is a TV with Chromecast. The wood-burning stove next to the sofa makes movie night extra cosy. The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare dinners. Weather permitting, it's lovely to eat outside on the balcony, where a large table awaits. The house has two toilets – one smaller and one with a shower. Pets are very welcome in the house, but we kindly ask you to keep them away from the furniture to preserve the comfort of all guests. Parking is available at the house. It is just over 5 km to cozy Nösund and the small community has two nice bathing spots, one of Bohuslän's finest tennis courts and excellent hiking trails into the knots. Here is also the well-known Nösunds Inn with a good restaurant and entertainment by famous artists. You also have a nice swimming area in Gårvik with both rocks, a trampoline, a swimming ladder and a small beach. Feel free to make an excursion to the nearby picturesque island of Lyr which is reached by free car ferry with crossing in just 3 minutes. The water has that characteristic rural smell and taste, completely safe to drink. If you still want a filtered alternative, a filter jug is available - just fill it up and put it in the fridge. The living room is furnished for comfort with both a dining area and a large sofa that accommodates the whole party. From here you reach the balcony, where outdoor furniture and a gas grill await lovely barbecue evenings. The site also has a large grass area on this side, perfect for outdoor games.
