Here you are surrounded by peaceful nature and can enjoy a fantastic view. The house is an older, partially renovated home with preserved charm. The house has a total area of about 300 m², and as guests you have it to yourself, although about half of the rooms are closed for use. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need to prepare both large and small meals. In addition to seating in the kitchen, there is a larger dining room table that accommodates the whole party for dinners. There are four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with a single bed each. Downstairs there is a room with shower and sink and a separate toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is also a sauna here! A wood-fired hot tub next to the water creates an unbeatable feeling and high coziness factor! Please note that the hot tub is booked by contacting the owner on site, who will arrange the practicalities of the hot tub and you will pay for this to the owner. A small boathouse belongs to the property, perfect for sitting down four to six people and enjoying the surroundings. There is no electricity in the boathouse, but infrared heating makes it possible to sit there even on colder days. For those of you who want to go out to sea, there is a boat to rent, either an eka or kayak, and life jackets are available. You will find more information about this on site in the guest folder. For those who like to swim, it's great to take a refreshing dip in the sea very close to the house. For a larger and more landscaped bathing area, you can easily go to the municipal bathing areas in Svanesund or Slussen. If you want to enjoy culture and good food, Slussen's guest house is within easy reach, where concerts are often arranged and delicious food is served. In Henån (16.5 km) there is a range of shops, shopping etc. Please note that this accommodation excludes families with children, youth groups, pets and smoking is prohibited. A modern farmhouse with views over pastures and beautiful surroundings, the cottage is on the owner's plot and you have your own part of the large plot. Enjoy the peace and privacy. The cabin has a spacious living room and open, well-equipped kitchen. Here there is a daybed for two people, a dining table and a modern TV with Chromecast. There is free wifi. The bathroom is bright and has a shower and washing machine. There are two sleeping lofts with a ladder up and here there is a single bed 120 cm wide and on the second loft a bed that is 140 cm wide. At the front of the cottage there is a generous terrace with outdoor furniture. Next to the cabin there is a lovely little barbecue area. The owner offers electric car charging, payment according to agreement on site. Only a short drive takes you to Kärradal. Here there is both a sandy beach and a rock pool with jetty and bathing ladder. A popular restaurant is right by the beach. This is a real summer idyll. Varberg is a summer town with a throng of people, restaurants, cafés and dance halls, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Go on a tour down into the bastions and casemates, follow along from the 13th century to our own time. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests, and here in winter there is an area for cross-country skiing. For those who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared.

Around the cottage, nature is open to those who want to hike along roads and in the forest environment, pick berries or mushrooms and maybe meet some of the forest's animals. A few kilometers away is the picturesque and beautiful fishing village of Fjällbacka with its boathouse environments and narrow alleys. The cottage is also easily accessible to other nice coastal fishing villages, lakes or other excursion destinations and swimming spots in Northern Bohuslän. The archipelago outside Fjällbacka is considered by many to be the most beautiful in Sweden. If you prefer swimming, there are both child-friendly beaches, for example at beautiful Sälvik or rock swimming and diving towers on Badholmen located in the harbor. There is also a nice disabled-friendly swimming area at Badberget's bathing spot. For those who want to go out to sea, there are several opportunities to take a boat trip with one of the archipelago boats. Fjällbacka has an incredibly beautiful archipelago with many small and larger islands. Via the Tourist Office you can rent both a kayak and a motorboat to explore the sea on your own. Welcome to Onsala and a magical beach plot! This accommodation consists of two simple cottages with an older character, located in a scenic area by the Kungsbackafjorden. The cottages are worn and spartan, giving them a rustic feel. The upper cottage, which is located near the entrance to the owner's residence, has a kitchen table and chairs with a nice view as well as a simpler stove and oven, and a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The second cabin, located about 30 meters closer to the water, offers sleeping places with a bunk bed and an older sofa bed for two people. There is also a wash basin here, but please note that the water is not drinkable in this cabin. Despite the simpler accommodation, the location is absolutely fantastic - wake up to the tranquillity of nature and birdlife, with a heron that can often be seen peering from a rock in the fjord. Perfect for those who want to experience a secluded and close-to-nature stay at the coast. Onsala and Kungsbackafjorden are perfect destinations for those looking for a scenic and relaxing experience by the coast. Here, the beautiful archipelago environment is combined with a rich range of activities. Visitors can enjoy cliff bathing, crab fishing, SUP paddling or sailing in the calm fjord. The cabin has a bedroom with two single beds and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. In the annex on the plot there is also a double bed for extra sleeping places. You will find the shower in the unfurnished basement, and it is accessed via an entrance at the back of the house. The incineration toilet in the cabin is easy to use – just follow the instructions on site. Near the cottage are several lovely bathing spots. Småholmarna's bathing area (4.4 km) and Slussen's bathing area (5.5 km), are both very popular during the summer. Henån (3 km) offers all the services you could need with shops, restaurants, system companies and much more. In addition, several pleasant events are arranged in Henån during the summer. A pleasant holiday accommodation in the best location in Skummeslövstrand with bathrobe distance to the lovely sandy beach. Nearby there is a summer center with both shops, cafes and restaurants. From your patio you can enjoy the tranquility of a quiet cottage area and marvel at the sunset over the sea. You live in part of the owner's house with your own separate patio and access to the shared plot. From the entrance on the left side of the balcony you come to a smaller hall. To the right is a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. The living room is spacious and has a dining table. There are two sofa beds and a TV with Swedish channels. The bedroom has two single beds. Your part of the patio is divided by a screen wall and here there is comfortable outdoor furniture and a barbecue. At a convenient distance is Skummeslövstrand's summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. To the north is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel, small shops and restaurants. The nice beach is only 50m away. Put on the bathrobe and take both morning and evening dips. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. There are nice cycle paths to Båstad and Laholm. Discover the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. Visit the lovely harbor area and the cold bath house. Just north of Båstad are Norrviken's gardens, a popular destination. Laholm has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the town and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. On Hallandsåsen there are also several lovely hiking trails and a ski resort in winter. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad smed with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. Bjäre golf club is closest to you.

Skärhamn, the nearest town, offers a rich selection of restaurants, the popular Watercolor Museum, and has fine grocery stores with a good selection. Fishing boats dock at the jetty during the summer where you can buy freshly caught crayfish. Further up the hill it is possible to rent a kayak to explore the archipelago. The ferry, which runs right below the house every half hour (adjusted depending on the season), takes you easily to the nature reserve on Härön, where Restaurang Magasinet serves both lunch and dinner.
