With a view of the sea and the beach meadows at Galtabäck just south of Varberg, this small cottage with nice grassy areas is located in a child-friendly area. In the cottage there is a small kitchen, living room with carpet, two small bedrooms - one with a bunk bed and sliding door, the other with a double bed (new in 2022) and a curtain that separates the room from the living room. In the living room there is a single bed. New, larger water heater installed in autumn 2015. The cottage has Wi-fi with unlimited surf. The sleeping places are divided into four in the large house and four in the annex on the plot, built in 2010. There are two bunk beds in the annex. Glazed conservatory built in 2020. In the conservatory there is the possibility to set up tables for 10 people. There are folding tables and stacked chairs to use if you are a larger group that wants to have a lovely dinner together. In the area there are mostly holiday homes and the traffic is minimal because the road ends here. Bathing facilities are within walking distance. By car or bicycle, it is also close to the cozy community Träslövsläge or Björkängs camping with swimming and mini golf. Galtabäck's harbor a few hundred meters from the cottage is a quiet marina with boathouses, a bird tower, seating and a small boat museum which, among other things, displays wreckage from Galtabäck's ship from the 12th century. Near the harbor there is also Lenasofia's silversmith (limited opening hours). The lovely summer town of Varberg is less than 10 km away. Here there are nice little shops, outdoor restaurants, the well-known cold bath house and the Fortress, a defense facility that brings to mind wars in ancient times. The museum in the Fortress displays the bullet button that it is said Charles XII fell victim to. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Bring your swimwear as Goat Island offers several nice beaches.

There's also a harbour nearby, in the little fishing village of Glommen, only two kilometres away. The cottage features a little kitchen and a cosy living room with an open fireplace. The popular beach Skrea strand is not far from the town centre, you can get there by bus or walk there. There are plenty of other lovely bathing spots within a few kilometres distance. Stroll through the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffee in one of Falkenberg's excellent cafés, such as Ståhlbom's and Borgmästargården. Take a walk along the river Ätran and admire the stunning view. Falkenberg offers shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs, music events and many other activities. You will be within walking distance of the beach with it's shallow water and sand dunes. There are shops and restaurants about one kilometre away. The cottage features a kitchen and a cosy living room with an extra bed. There are two bedrooms, one of them features a bunkbed. Tylösand, one of Sweden's most famous and popular beaches, is situated close to Halmstad. In the summer idyll of Onsala near Gottskär in Halland, with its cozy harbor and lovely sea bathing, is this cozy and fresh cottage with a sea view and an enjoyable terrace. You have only 400m down to a cooling dip at the jetty and only 800m to a fine sandy beach. Here you are welcomed to a lush and well-kept garden with lawn and terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass together after the day's adventure. Outdoor furniture and a parasol for shade when the sun is hot or if you want to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside. The owner of the house lives on the same plot, but you have your own part of the garden as well as your own parking and entrance. The cabin feels very spacious and airy thanks to the fact that it is open all the way up in the ridge. Large windows with a view from the inside both out to the balcony and the sea in the distance. The large cabin has a combined kitchen and living room. The kitchen has a nice dining area, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, stove, coffee maker and kettle. It takes 7 minutes by bike to Gottskär and the harbour. Here there are restaurants, swimming, marina, ice cream kiosk and some summers also After Beach. Also take a trip to Lerkil and buy fresh seafood directly from the Fishing Boat. In the area there are nice walking paths and a well-visited nature reserve. There are also 4 golf courses within a 2 mile radius. If you want to explore the towns around the accommodation, it is 10 minutes to Kungsbacka and the popular Kungsmässan with a variety of shops. Hede Fashion Outlet is 15 minutes from the cottage and Gothenburg with Liseberg only 30 minutes away by car.

Varberg is a popular destination with the medieval castle Varberg Fortress as an important landmark. Many people appreciate Varberg for its cozy small streets with good shopping. Fun little shops and market shops. Åkulla's beautiful beech forests have 50 km2 of hiking trails, several nature reserves and many lakes. Here the body was found by Bockstensmannen and he is northern Europe's most spectacular medieval find. Grimeton Radiostation, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about 8 miles from Varberg. Here are high radio masts that proudly look out over the landscape. For those interested in golf, there are several nice golf courses nearby, most recently Varbergs Gk.
