Welcome to this charming two-storey cottage, situated on a forest plot in between Osby and Vittsjö, in beautiful Skåne. The holiday home has a kitchen with a functioning wood stove as well as an electric stove/oven. The kitchen has the basic amenities, a dining table, and a baby chair. Next to the kitchen, there's a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. In the living room, there's a dining table, a wood-burning stove, a sofa, and a double sofa bed. The living room also features armchairs, a TV, and a DVD-player. A steep set of stairs will take you to the upper floor, where you will find an interesting piece of furniture: an old “beggar's bench”. In the olden days people would place such a bench outside of their homes to signal that homeless beggars, who often travelled around the countryside, were welcome to knock on the door, for a bite to eat and a bed for the night. The upper floor has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom (without a door) with two single beds. There is also a loft with a single bed. A path leads from the garden to the river Vieån. There are lanterns in the house in case you want to bring them down to the river after dark, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the evening. Fishing possibilities. The walking/ hiking trail Skåneleden passes by the house. The small town of Osby is 20 kilometres away, offering some shops and the Brio toy museum. The child-friendly beach, with shallow water and a bathing dock, is only 3.5 kilometres away. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole golf course at Vittsjö GK, 4 kilometres away. The cave Tygarpsgrottan is about 30 kilometres away and also worth a visit. You will find a binder in the house, with information about interesting sights and activities in the area. Welcome!

In the middle of the hilly Göingemarkerna among small villages, beech forests and meadows, this larger cottage is located directly by the rushing rapids and the old mill. Here you live in the summer nestled in greenery directly above the rapids, only with the owner's corporate property (one-man company) as the nearest neighbor in undisturbed surroundings. The large cottage was a representation villa once upon a time but now constitutes a spacious accommodation for a larger family with 7 beds divided into 3 bedrooms, of which a charming children's room with 3 beds. There are generous areas with a lounge area, a large living room with sofa group and a lovely wood stove to snuggle in front and a large dining area with windows to the rapids. The newly renovated, well-planned kitchen also has a small dining area. From here you can go out into the large glazed bright terrace furnished with a sitting area where you can enjoy cool summer evenings. Down the balcony stairs you also reach the large wooden terrace next to the watercourse, furnished with outdoor furniture and barbecue where you can catch the morning sun or enjoy barbecue evenings. From the house you can basically see no neighbors and you are also not disturbed by the owner's fine mechanical work in the property next door. It is peaceful and quiet and is hidden from view. In front of the house is only forest and a large parking area. The bathroom contains a shower cubicle and WC. In Vittsjö's surroundings you enjoy outdoor life among lakes and forests. There are bathing places to explore in the surroundings. At Vittsjö camping there are canoes and rowing boats for rent, mini golf and fishing opportunities. Just under 10 kilometers to Vittsjö village there is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants as well as the popular Cafe Sjöstugan during the summer. About 4 km from the cottage is Wittsjö Golf Club with a summer restaurant. The hiking trail Skåneleden runs through Vittsjö. It passes through beautiful beech forest and in places along water. The Vieåleden and Ubbalt nature reserves are also available for those interested in the outdoors. At Hörlinge meadows there is a bird watching place. In the surroundings around the city of Hässleholm are beautiful Hovdala castle and Tykarpsgrottan. In Osby, Brio Toy Museum is a nice place to visit.

The area is rural with a lot of forest around. By bike you have the proximity to nature's shifts. The forest offers nice mushroom places and berry fields. Nearby is the small town Vittsjö, beautifully situated by Vittsjön and which has all the service you need. Here is Pickelsjön's nice bathing spot. You also have several other places within easy reach by car. A few km away is Skeingesjön, here is also a small public swimming area. The Ubbalt nature reserve is located on Verumsåsen east of Vittsjön. A short drive away you will find Luhrsjön at the town Hästveda, with nice bathing spots. Vieåleden with its surroundings is one of northern Skåne's finest areas and is well worth a visit! Pack your coffee basket and prepare for a wonderful nature experience at one of the starting points or take your backpack on a full day hike! There is good fishing in Skeingesjön, Vittsjön and Vieån.
