The protected bay with Vättern's clean, clear waters together with the shallow sandy beach make Varamobaden really child-friendly, but is also a mecca for water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP. If golf is your passion, Askersund Golf Club is just a short drive away. For those who want to discover nature for real, Tivedens National Park is a must with incredible hikes and breathtaking views. Askersund with its picturesque town center and marinas is a nice excursion destination and it takes 25 minutes by car, there is a large selection of restaurants and cafes.
