This charming holiday home was built in the early 1800’s and offers the quaintness of the past as well as modern day comforts. There is an open fireplace, a woodburning stove and a heater. A steep, narrow stairs leads to the loft where the second bedroom, including a doublebed is situated. Here you will find a wonderful lake plot on Väddö in Stockholm's northern archipelago, with docks, a boat and a sauna! The plot is fenced and the cottage owner allows pets. The large house has 4 beds, one double room and one with two beds and a guest house down by the water that has a bunk bed. In the large house there is a fully tiled bathroom with shower and WC, a kitchen with dining area and a lovely family room with windows in all directions and another large dining table and four comfortable armchairs where you can sit and look out at the water. In the basement there is a washing machine and dryer. The guest cabin has no toilet or shower, but a small table and two chairs. In the boathouse you will find a spacious sauna and a relaxation corner. Wonderful to throw yourself in the sea after the sauna! A small dinghy for two adults is included in the rent if you want to row out and enjoy or catch a fish for dinner. Life jackets are available for two adults and two children. On top of the boathouse there is a large terrace with table, chairs and a barbecue. The bus stop is only 50 meters from the house, go to Grisslehamn in one direction or Älmsta and Stockholm in the other direction. Grisslehamn is a wonderful summer town, with restaurants, cafes, shops and a nice SPA. From here you can take a nice day trip to Åland via boat. There are more shops in Hallstavik.

In the other space which can be called more like a dormitory where the beds will be able to be screened off with curtains from the ceiling. There are a total of six sleeping places, of which two double beds (160 and 180), a 140 bed and a 120 bed. Perfect for the young or the large family that wants to share a room. There is no door to close to this space. The house is located on a large, lovely lot and has a patio with seating areas, barbecue and the lovely hot tub that warms you up! About 300 meters away you will find the sea if you want to cool off a bit, a fantastic sandy beach, perfect for children. Barely 10 minutes by car you reach Älmsta where there is a grocery store, pharmacy, outdoor gym and much more such as good food at Bonden och Burgaren or Ankaret. Kröns Trädgård is well worth a visit, with a café and beautiful plants. Don’t miss Väddö Gårdsmejeri either, where there is pony riding for the children. If you want to see more animals, you shouldn’t miss Väddö Alpackagård, which has a café and a shop. Tips for excursions are Norrtälje, where you can stroll in the alleys along the canal or a trip to beautiful Grisslehamn where you can take a trip with the Eckerö line!

The cabin is on a large property where the nice host couple also live in their house. The cabin you live in is located on the hill facing the forest with a secluded location against peaceful nature. Nice terrace on the front of the house which is partly covered. The cabin has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. Open plan between kitchen and living room with dining table and sofa with TV. Bathroom with wc and shower. The shared pool in the area is open from midsummer to the end of August. In the sleeping loft there are two bedrooms, one of which is large with two beds, which is open and therefore cannot be closed with a door. But in the smaller bedroom there is a single bed that can be closed with a door. The stairs are somewhat steep. Lovely large patio with outdoor furniture perfect for nice dinners and a lounge area where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee looking over the grounds with the birds singing in the background. On the property there is a guest cabin with two beds and a private patio for those who want some privacy. You have your own beach and jetty to swim at, but there are plenty of bathing spots on the mainland or on Väddö, just cross the bridge and swim in the salty waves of the Åland Sea. Thehouse was built in the early 1800’s and features a large kitchen with a wood burning stove and an electric stove. The house has been maintained in it’s original style but features a modern kitchen and a tiled bathroom.The bedroom features a Wood stove and a double bed with a beautiful 19th century headboard. The landning on the upper floor is furnished and suitable for relaxing and spending time together. The garden is large and includes garden furniture. There is also a wood fuelled sauna. The lake is only fifty metres from the house, the sea is one kilometre from the house and both offer fishing opportunities. The owner has a rowing boat that you can book and the owner also provides five life vests. There are several beautiful golf courses in Uppland. The closest ones are Väddö golf course, only four kilometres away, and Hallstavik, fifteen kilometres away. Älmsta, 3 kilometres away, offers two golf courses, one with gravel and one that is paved.
