Lovely holiday home to really enjoy on Joels udde where you are close to both the sea, the beach and the nice restaurants, ice cream cafes and shopping that Färjestaden has to offer. The house is not rented out to youth groups. It is not permitted to charge electric cars. The cabin must be cleaned by the guest before departure. Bed linen and towels are brought by the guest. The house is located in a nice cottage area with a high holiday feeling. It is walking distance to the fine, shallow sandy beach where you can enjoy a refreshing dip and the beautiful view of the Öland Bridge in the distance. There is also a larger playground and beach volleyball court here. You have a wonderful garden with a nice patio deck where you can enjoy sunny days. On the nice covered veranda you can enjoy a good piece of food. The house has an open living room with a couch in front of the TV or the beautiful fireplace where you can light candles. Burning in the fireplace is not permitted. Here there is a beautiful dining area that leads into the open kitchen where you have a dishwasher and most everything you might need. You sleep in two bedrooms. One with a double bed, In the second room with a curtain there is a bunk bed with a 90cm bed at the top and a 120cm bed at the bottom. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower cubicle. There are two bicycles available which guests are responsible for. Here you are really close to Öland's Zoo, which with its animals, water park and amusement park is usually popular with children. If you want to enjoy a day at the spa, Skansen Spa is nearby. Here you are perfectly located to be able to make nice excursions both on Öland and the mainland.

Gårdby Kaf'e & Lanthandel with its popular garden cafe and its well-stocked country store with delicacies is a popular destination. Gråborg is Öland's largest known ancient castle, which is usually popular with its fine hiking trail. You have nice swimming with a wonderful long shallow sandy beach in Bläsinge, where there is also a restaurant and sale of fresh fish. If you just want to take a dip, there is also Gårdby Hamn with a bathing jetty nearby. In Färjestaden there are plenty of fine restaurants, ice cream cafés and bathing areas. Borgholm is also usually a popular destination to stroll around if you want a slightly larger selection. Borgholm Castle Ruins is also here, which is well worth a visit. For the children, Öland Djurpark is usually popular with its animals, amusement park and water park.

Small but perfectly planned, that's what this little cottage is. Divided into 1.5 floors, everything you need can fit! The cottage is newly renovated and has both a new kitchen and a new bathroom. The kitchen is open to a dining area and living area. Which leads to the best with this cottage, the fantastic terrace but views of Kalmar Sound and Ölandsbron. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be made into a double bed if desired, otherwise there are 2 sleeping places in the sleeping loft above. The sleeping loft has a low ceiling height, 1.45 m as a maximum in the middle. Which allows a person of medium height to sit in bed. But you can not stand up on the sleeping loft. The cottage has a new AC installed in May 2022, for a pleasant stay in the cottage even during hot summer days. Enjoy the summer on Öland on this terrace which has got the best view from the owner's plot. Summer breakfasts or why not long warm evenings out here overlooking the Kalmar Sound. In addition to a fantastic view, this cottage also offers a perfect starting point for exploring Öland while being only 15km from Kalmar and all the city has to offer. Straight down from the cottage to the sea is Saxnäs swimming area, and there is also the campsite Kronocamping Saxnäs, which has a restaurant, ice cream kiosk, sauna, pool, workouts and much more!

Only 250 km from the bridge on the east side of Öland is the cozy village Bröttorp. A very nice Ölandslänga that has memories from the 19th century. Combined living room with kitchen and a lovely exit to the lawn for cozy meals on the lawn outside. On this floor there are two bedrooms. One with 2 single beds (2 * 90cm) and the other bedroom which has been named the "green room" there is a bunk bed (80 / 80cm) and a very comfortable sofa bed (160cm). One of the bedrooms with its own toilet. Upstairs there is another bedroom with 2 single beds (2 * 90cm) and a sleeping loft with 2 single beds (2 * 90cm). Here you can easily live 8 people and 2 in the comfortable sofa bed - a total of 10 beds. On the other side of the bridge is historic Kalmar with its medieval castle and old town center. Kalmar also offers a large selection of shops, restaurants and other services. Öland has a large selection of events during the summer in various places. Nearby are also, for example, Borgholm's castle with the Royal Solliden and Ekerum Resort with everything from 3 golf courses to a fantastic restaurant. Öland offers many activities for all ages, such as the magical Trollskogen, Öland's animal and amusement park, Eketorp's medieval castle and a lot of culture and art.
