Great little house, everything is present. There are some minor issues but nothing insurmountable. One point of attention is that the mattresses could be replaced for hygiene reasons.

Everything has been thought of: toilet paper, bed linen, towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies, hand soap, kitchen towels, candles outside. Wonderful beds and helpful landlords.

Thoroughly enjoyed the freedom. Nice privacy and a lovely jacuzzi!

The house is very warm because the underfloor heating is set to 24 degrees, the thermostat is broken. So we had the front door open all day, resulting in many flies and mosquitoes inside. In the evening, we tried to light the fireplace outside, but there was no draft in the chimney, and there was no poker or anything to adjust the flue. Many lights in the house do not work, and there is duct tape on the fitting in the upstairs bathroom. There are no working smoke detectors; they are all in the drawer of the dining table or hanging broken from the ceiling. On the other hand, the location for the washing machine, dryer, towels, bedding, sauna, and jacuzzi is ideal. The little park where the four houses are located is quietly secluded; you first drive past a campsite along a sandy path by the canal to the houses. However, if you want to relax and watch TV with six people in the house, you need to grab kitchen chairs because it gets cramped on a three-seater sofa and one large chair. Also, the cutlery and glassware are minimal, and the dishwasher needs to be run regularly. Furthermore, the house is complete; there is salt, toilet paper, garbage bags, and hand soap available. It would have been helpful if there were manuals for the electrical appliances in the house. We left brochures in the house about things to do in the area this summer. The surroundings are beautiful!!! We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who took us to the house and gave us a tour.

The holiday home and its surroundings simply blew us away. From the natural light to the view and the environment, it was definitely a relaxing yet exciting vacation. Only the confusing arrangement of non-functional light switches, the storage of the key, and the concerning wiring in the hallway closet gave it a slightly bitter taste. However, such details are easy to overlook, as everything else was more than satisfactory. The bathing lake and the small town of Ootmarsum are definitely worth a visit. A wonderful place to take a breath and relax.
