We went a bit for luxury, but due to the smell of chlorine, we didn't use the jacuzzi, and the musty smell in the basement meant we also didn't use the sauna. Furthermore, nice spacious bedrooms. Tip: the lights above the sink are too weak. The number of teacups, etc., is quite limited for a house for 6 people.

Just back from the cottage itself, beautiful layout. But if you want to sit in the sun, this is not your vacation home. No sun on the terrace. There is also a huge umbrella that cannot be folded down. The garden table cannot be moved. One lounge chair has a broken armrest. The jacuzzi is lovely but doesn't work fully. The sauna is in the basement and there is an awful damp smell. It's not clean either. No broom to sweep it up. Old yellow cloths for the kitchen. No pot holder. Chair is worn out. Couch is dirty. You pay 165 euros for cleaning costs. Well, you don't see that reflected. The worst part for me is that the mattresses are dirty, no protective cover, nothing. Fortunately, I only saw that when I took off the bed cover. Terrible. And this cottage is an award winner. You would think you are in good hands. It's a shame I have to report this. The positives; many birds in the garden. Squirrels and peace. Spaciously located cottages along a sandy road. Tall trees around the house. Wonderful shower. We only used the ground floor. No Netflix on the TV. I read in another review that it was available. Asked the owner, but he said everyone presses the buttons. And he didn't bother to check.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Everything is provided, such as dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, and towels, which gives a very welcoming feeling. Picking up the key was easy and quick, and checking out was too! The house has everything you need for a great time in Twente!

Great little house and beautiful location. Nice jacuzzi and the owner Bart is a really nice guy. When picking up the key at restaurant Antje and Billie, we decided to stay for dinner and it was very good. We had a delicious meal. The house is quietly located with a total of 4 houses. Plenty of space for relaxation. Everything is clean, tidy, and in good condition. When there was a problem with the sauna, Bart arranged for a technician to come within an hour. The only downside we found: a six-person house but a small sofa for 3 people and 2 chairs is a bit too little to really relax with 6 in the evenings, but that's the only issue.

It was a nice weekend there. It is a beautiful house. Very clean and well-maintained. We had a lovely time. There were small things like a forgotten dish towel or that the whirlpool doesn't bubble properly. Otherwise, maybe lay out some bedding for the smaller blankets. There is only one large blanket on the beds and matching bedding for it.
