A wonderful place. Enjoyed nature and tranquility for three weeks. Unfortunately, the temperature lagged behind a bit, so the large swimming pool could not be used every day. Bedrooms are spacious and the living room and kitchen offer enough space for a large family. Children and grandchild visiting, no problem with 7 people.

A lovely large garden for our dog who enjoyed the space every day. There are plenty of nice places to visit nearby. Delicious sausage, wine and cheese for a French adventure.

The French homeowner is an excellent host. We received a warm welcome and we had regular contact during our stay. Highly recommended!

We were warmly received by the owner. Got a tour and were impressed by the beautiful, comfortable house. It was very clean (also nice) and we lacked nothing! The pool was lovely, the outside kitchen fantastic. Very nice view in the evening at the pool with a view over the countryside and in the distance the setting sun. A wonderfully peaceful environment with nice people! The owner was easily accessible and was immediately ready if needed (a very sweet man). definitely recommended!

Beautiful house, located in a very quiet place in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the unobstructed view from the terrace and the pool. The reception was very friendly and helpful. There are beautiful walks in the area and nice villages to visit. We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely house, thank you!

Arrival great, we were too early but were just allowed to enter the house. The house is really a great French house and with a very nice view, and a wonderful outside place to relax overlooking the small just born calves and cows. And often the beautiful setting sun! Tip: beds are hard and tight. And clean the pool a little more often in the week. In addition, Mr. the owner is very helpful and takes care of fruit from his own garden a few times a week. It was a wonderful holiday!

Very friendly welcome and tour by owner (speaks only French). Local products as a welcome gift. Beautiful swimming pool (2 / wk cleaned) at cozy French cottage. Beautifully quiet location but also easily accessible. Sofa seating was not comfortable but fortunately in good weather ample seating options outside.

Very very charming house and quiet in a beautiful area. Nice villages nearby. Very friendly manager, as indicated in another review, he speaks no other language than French. Photos are a bit misleading, because at a distance of one and a half meters from the swimming pool there is a fence in front of a fenced pasture where cows walk. We don't suffer from this, but it's good to know. Furthermore, some nice cushions for chairs and sunbeds would be a good addition. These are missing.

Very friendly host but not such a clean house. Shower downstairs did not drain properly, dishwasher did not wash properly. Crockery missing pieces. Swimming pool water was fluorescent green instead of bright blue, but clean. The owner couldn't get it right but came by every morning for an hour…

Our stay was horrible.
We spend 2 nights at the house. When we arrived our kids jumped into the pool.
The swimming pool filter was not working. (We found out later)
The same night they both got very sick.
The house was very dirty and didn't smell fresh at all. When we were cooking in the tiny kitchen we found some hair in the pan and we lost our appetite.
The second night we woke up in the middle of the night because there were big hornets in the bedroom of the children.
Later in the night they were surrounding the whole house and tried to get in, it was terrifying. There probably was a nest under the windows in the walls of the house.
We did a report to the owners of the house, but they didn't take it seriously. We even showed them the dead hornets and the majority of these animals.
I was thankful our children didn't get stung.
We packed our stuff and drove home because it was impossible to stay in that house with te hornaars.
Unfortunately we didn't got a refund of our money, (we were supposed to stay 7 days) We even showed the owners and belle villa videos and pictures from these insects.
The owners never took anything serious (not the pool filter that wasn't working or the hornets)
We took our loss and were happy that we don't have to come here ever again.

7 km from Objat, where you can visit a large cosy market every Sunday morning There is also a recreation opportunity In Objat, with pedal boats, swimming pool with slide, canoeing etc. 20 km from Pompadour (horses competition). A day shopping in Brive (23 km) and Perigeux (70 km). Limoges (80 km) is known for its porcelain factories, which you can visit.
