The holiday home is quietly and idyllically located on the edge of Mauterndorf. This house is directly connected to the center and the Grosseck / Speiereck / Mauterndorf ski area with 50 kilometers of slopes via a hiking trail. By car you can reach the ski areas of Obertauern with 100 kilometers of slopes, Fanningberg / Mariapfarr with 30 kilometers of slopes and Katschberg with 80 kilometers of slopes in about 15-20 minutes.
In summer, Mauterndorf and the entire Lungau holiday region also have a lot to offer active vacationers with various hiking routes, varied cycling and mountain bike tours, the famous Taurachbahn and the Lungau/Katschberg golf club. There is pure bathing fun in the Mauterndorf adventure pool, at the Trogalmsee or at the Schlierersee.
There are enough shops for daily needs right in the town, as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Directly connected to the Flachau and Alpendorf ski areas, Wagrain is part of the Salzburg Sportwelt and Ski Amade with a total of 760 km of slopes. Snow Space Salzburg offers winter sports enthusiasts many access points to the ski area, 3 of which are in Wagrain alone.
In the midst of the impressive mountains in Salzburgerland you will find the best mix for a holiday, the region offers around 230 kilometers of marked hiking trails between crystal-clear mountain lakes and rustic alpine huts and around 150 kilometers of signposted mountain bike routes. A tip for young mountain bikers is the woom bike area Wagrain right at the middle station of the Flying Fox gondola! Several bathing lakes (Rupertisee, Wengsee), the Wagrain water world, the outdoor pool in Sankt Johann im Pongau and the adventure bathing lake in Eben im Pongau ensure plenty of bathing fun in summer.
Wagrain offers plenty of shops and supermarkets for daily needs as well as a large selection of restaurants and bars. The state capital of Salzburg can be reached in around 1 hour by car.
