Experience the houseboat Amalie - Maritime luxury in Bork Harbour Unique 2-storey houseboat in the old fishing village of Bork Harbour at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord. The houseboat Amalie was built in 2007 according to the most modern designs and is equipped with 3 flat screens, radio and fibre internet and in the harbour car park there are 4 charging stations for electric cars. Enjoy a fantastic maritime experience for the whole family - even if you don't have seamanship skills, and the houseboat is so large and stable that you only sense a faint and cosy bobbing and creaking. Imagine being able to follow the traffic of the sailboats, watch the fishermen return to harbour after a long day on the fjord from one of the boat's 3 terraces and watch fromanother terrace as the day's catch is unloaded. You then pass a short corridor with access to a bathroom with toilet, shower and sauna on one side and a bathroom with toilet and spa on the other side. Then you reach the ship's master bedroom, where you can lie on the large double bed and watch the light sparkle in the water just a few metres from your pillow. A staircase leads up to the upper deck, where you are greeted by an unrivalled view of life in the harbour and the shopping street on the opposite side of the harbour or the many windsurfers out on the fjord. The living room is furnished with modern leather furniture as well as a wood-burning stove for those chilly evenings. You can also rent bikes on site if you want to go a little further afield.
