The holiday home has an open and airy floor plan with a combined kitchen/living room that is the heart of the house, a social gathering point where you can cook, eat together and relax with TV or PlayStation. The interior is simple and functional, with a warm atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home. The holiday home has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 1 single bed. In addition, there is a loft; a cozy extra room that can be used as a sleeping area with 2 mattresses, a reading nook or a play area for the children. The ceiling height is low, ca. 150 cm at the most. The bathroom is modern and practical, with both a shower and toilet. Bed linen must be brought. Canoe is included in the rental, including life jackets for adults. The outdoor area is well-maintained, and the spacious terrace is perfect for barbecuing, sunbathing or just enjoying your morning coffee in peaceful surroundings. With the forest right outside the door, there are short walks to beautiful hiking trails, and the area is well suited for hiking, cycling and berry picking. Grimstad, which is only about 20 minutes away, is one of the pearls of Southern Norway. The town is known for its maritime charm, with white-painted wooden houses, narrow streets and a lively marina. Here you will find cozy cafes, restaurants by the water and small niche shops. For those interested in culture, the Ibsen Museum is a must - this is where Henrik Ibsen lived as a young man, and the museum provides an exciting insight into his life and work. The animal park in Kristiansand is only an hour's drive away, as is Evje, where you will find the mineral park, climbing park, rafting and several other activities. The southern towns of Arendal and Lillesand are also not far away. The house is a great starting point for exploring a good part of Southern Norway.

Holiday home with outdoor swimming pool in sunny, idyllic surroundings. Great hiking opportunities, beautiful nature and plenty of space for the whole family. The holiday home is a farmhouse from 1850 (renovated 2020) with 4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. The house is nicely furnished for a pleasant holiday for the extended family. Well-equipped kitchen and gas grill on the terrace. On the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed each. On the first floor, there is 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 with a single bed and a double bed. There is also a single bed by the stairs between the 2 bedrooms on the first floor. Please note that guests will need to bring their own bed linen. In these beautiful surroundings, you can relax while the children have fun in the swimming pool on the large sunny terrace at the front of the house. There is a rowing boat with accompanying life jackets should you want to fish for trout or other freshwater fish. There are great hiking trails and terrain in the area around the house. The ZOO in Kristiansand is only an hour's drive away, like Evje with the mineral park, climbing park, rafting and several other exciting activities. The towns Arendal and Lillesand are also not far away, so the holiday home is a good starting point for exploring Southern Norway and having great experiences with the family.
