Leave the car parked in the designated spot next to the house wall and instead explore the surrounding area on all the nice cycle paths around, 2 adult bikes are available to borrow. The house has a south-facing sun deck with garden furniture and barbecue facilities where you can enjoy your time off. The house feels spacious despite its limited area, but with high ceilings and the open floor plan, there is plenty of space for the small group or family. Kitchen equipment is available for cooking both on the stovetop and with a combined oven and microwave in the living room, which also has a dining table and a sofa bed for two in front of the TV. There is also the possibility of storage here. You also have the larger bathroom here with a bathtub. One step down in the large furnished and airy basement, it is really well planned and pleasant. Here you can sit together in the evening and put on a good movie or hang out. Next to the living room you have a bedroom with 4 single beds. There is also a bathroom with shower downstairs as well as a washing machine and dryer. Out through the kitchen via the patio door, you meet the large outdoor room with furniture and fireplace. The house is only a few kilometers from the sea and Blekinge's beautiful archipelago, so there are lots of different swimming spots. A few smaller ones near the house and then also Sandviken, which is perhaps the county's most popular sandy beach and is often called Blekinge's Riviera. There are shuttle boats with Blekingetrafiken to Karlskrona and some of the other islands. If you want to cycle, you can also bring a bicycle. There are two nice nature reserves with hiking trails. Cycle paths are marked with signs around the island. At Andrén's bakery you can buy the morning bread. At Sturkö Kvarn there is a café, ice cream and an exhibition of various artists. Kristina's garden café also has a flea market. The southern part of the island is undeveloped and fine sandy beaches hide in the coves. The beach in Stensvik is recommended. Sanda is one of the island's villages with a small fishing port overlooking Karlskrona town. South of Sanda there is a bridge connection to Tjurkö and the larger fishing harbor Ekenabben.
