This is a scenic area which offers terrific walking paths and the chance to see elk and deer. The cottage is set on a park like plot with a natural garden as well as a regular garden. Indoors, you will find a large entrance hall which is adjacent to the spacious, tastefully decorated living room, with a TV, DVD-player and wireless internet. The light and airy kitchen features a nice dining area. There a three bedrooms, one offering a comfortable double bed, the second two single beds, and the third one a double bed 160 cm. In the bathroom you will find a WC, wash basin, shower, and washing machine. The cottage features two delightful outdoor sitting areas, which gives you the option of choosing whether you sit it the sun or in the shade. You will find a lovely bay, with a magnificent view of the islands, only 500 metres from the cottage. This is a lovely place to go swimming or sunbathing. The cottage is set in a scenic area, with pastures for sheep and horses. The waters around Askeröarna are excellent for fishing. There are plenty of charming seaside towns to visit on Tjörn and Orust. The closest town is Varekil, eleven kilometres away. Gothenburg is 65 kilometres away. This holiday home is a charming and simple guest house with a private entrance. It is on the second floor of a garage. It is set close to the sea on the island Stora Askerön, in the fjord between Tjörn, Orust, and Stenungsund. The holiday home is open plan and has skylights that let in a lot of daylight. There's a TV and free internet access. The sofa bed in the living room is 140 cm wide. The kitchenette has a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's also a large freezer downstairs. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. You get your own part of the garden. Outside in the smaller guest house, there are two comfortable single beds, perfect if you are two couples or have youths that wants to be by themselves. There's a charming little bay only 150 metres from the holiday home. It is an excellent place to go swimming. From the bay you have a wonderful view of the fjord and the bridges Tjörnbroarna. If you are interested in fishing, the waters in the area around Askeröarna is known for its trout fishing. Tjörn and Orust offer many charming seaside towns you can visit, such as Klädesholmen, Kyreksund, Hälleviksstrand, and Mollösund, all lovely places to visit. Sundsby Säteri offers beautiful walking paths and caves to explore. It also offers a bakery and a coffee shop. Stenungssund offers a large shopping centre and Gothenburg is only 55 kilometres away. The town of Skärhamn offers plenty of restaurants, shops, entertainment and culture. There is, for instance, a lovely art museum specialising in contemporary art, especially aquarelles.
