The plot is shared with the house owner and in the nearby barn there are chickens in a henhouse that the children can look at from the outside. On the lower level of the house there is a large hall with good storage. A bedroom with a so-called family bed, i.e. a bunk bed with room for 2-3 people. The living room and kitchen are connected and there is a sofa, TV, dining area and exit to the terrace. The kitchen is neat and modern and perfect for cooking good meals in. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, washbasin, washing machine and tumble dryer. In the loft there is a double bed and a walk-in closet with plenty of space for your luggage. The terrace is large and here you can sit and enjoy the tranquil view. On the lawn there is room for a lot of play and running. A 10-minute drive takes you to cozy Rönnäng on Tjörn's southern cape, which has a well-visited bathing area. Here there is a sandy beach, rocks and jetties to take a dip from. Hopscotch and failure are included. Beautiful view over Dyrön, Åstol and Marstrand. There are many sights and charming archipelago communities in the immediate area. Feel free to visit the central town of Skärhamn, 11 km with a rich entertainment and cultural offer where the Nordic Watercolor Museum is the most famous. Also take the opportunity to experience the archipelago and the small fishing villages around Tjörn such as Klädesholmen and Kyrkesund or take the ferry from Rönnäng to the nearby car-free islands of Åstol, Dyrön and Tjörnekalv. At the cottage you are greeted by an idyllic setting with a hilly plot surrounded by forest - perfect for mushroom picking and berry adventures! Welcome to Ucklum – a peaceful oasis just 7km from Stenungssund and within easy reach of the coastal islands of Tjörn and Orust. The area offers many different swimming opportunities, from quiet lakes to salty sea bathing. A place in the middle of nature surrounded by birdsong and greenery – a place for recovery. The oblong plot is surrounded by forest and farmland. The cottage is located on the same plot as the owner's main house. There is a path down to Lake Stora Hällungen. From the lake, a stream runs through parts of the plot and creates a magical atmosphere during the summer months. Down here, 10 m from the water, is the cozy cottage of a simpler character. The entrance has a glazed part where breakfast can be enjoyed with a beautiful view. The cottage has a small kitchenette, living room with a sofa bed and a small bedroom with a double bed. A small stove to burn in spreads warmth and increases the coziness factor in the cottage. Bathroom with incinerator toilet, sink and shower. The owner sells fishing licenses for the lake and some fishing equipment is available to borrow and echo to rent. Welcome to this very nice and cozy villa in a sunny location close to the sea, where you can glimpse the sea between the trees. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet in beautiful natural surroundings. Start the day by going down to the sea for a refreshing dip and then sit down and enjoy a well-deserved breakfast in the morning sun on the villa's well-proportioned terrace area. At the nice swimming area there is a barbecue area from which you have a wonderful sea view, here there is both a sandy beach and lovely rocks to sunbathe from and here you can also launch a kayak for discovery trips along the Gullmarsfjord's islands and beaches. In the area there are also pleasant nature trails and roads to walk on. The cabin is sunny with generous balcony areas on three sides of the cabin, in one corner of the balcony is a small gazebo, a cozy place for pleasant gatherings. Via a staircase you reach the cabin's entrance, on the inside you are greeted by a pleasant hall that leads on to a large open kitchen, dining room area and a large, lovely living room with large glass sections facing the garden and lawn. The open kitchen with its kitchen island is equipped with a stove, separate oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher. The cozy living room has a warming wood stove, comfortable armchairs and a sofa bed and TV. The bathroom is divided into two rooms, one with a sauna, whirlpool and shower and another with a toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. 3 bedrooms, one with a large comfortable double bed, one with a 120 cm bed and one with two single beds (single bed + pull-out bed) in this room a small staircase leads up to a cozy sleeping loft. From the dining area, a door leads out onto the large well-proportioned balcony area with balconies in three directions, here there are several sets of summer furniture so you can move around to always have sun or shade. The cabin has WiFi connection. Lysekil, which is popularly known as "The City by the Sea", is located at the far end of the sea belt. Experience the fantastic feeling of freedom that the sea gives us on hikes on nature reserves and paths with fine smooth red granite rocks that are unique in Bohuslän. During the summer season, many concerts with famous artists, sing-alongs in the park, etc. are offered. Several nice shops with a selection for different tastes. It is also a pleasure to ride the small train around Lysekil, during the trip you also get a bit of history about Lysekil or why not walk through the older part of Lysekil from the 17th - 19th century. Cozy buildings along the narrow street towards Norra Hamnen, which in recent years has become a beach promenade. Here you can take a dip in the salty sea from the jetty and on a fine summer evening you can experience a fantastic sunset reflected in the sea. Here you live 10 m from the sea with a lovely sea view, salty baths and "your own" jetty just a few meters away in a calm and pleasant environment with the forests near the beach, forest animals and birdsong around the knot. Start the day with a lovely morning swim in the sea before enjoying your breakfast in this peaceful beachside environment. The cottage includes a small rowing boat, perfect for taking you over to the island opposite, where there is the opportunity to dive from bare fine rocks or for a while fishing for mackerel or trout. The cabin is also perfect for those of you who want to go out with your own kayak, there are many fine paddling routes in the area. The cottage and associated annex have been carefully renovated and updated over time while preserving the fine older environment. From the lawn you continue out onto the small headland where the jetty is located, here you can sunbathe from the rocks and enjoy lovely salty baths. It is not far to several of northern Bohuslän's picturesque fishing villages, eg Grebbestad, where in addition to experiencing the narrow alleys, summer shops, restaurants, you can also rent boat charters, fishing trips or why not a kayak to experience the beautiful archipelago outside. Several nature reserves with fantastic nature can be found in the area, such as Sweden's first marine national park Kosterhavets national park is well worth a visit. Also take the opportunity to visit the Vitlycke museum, which is a knowledge and experience center in Tanum's world heritage - an area with around 600 petroglyph sites. Here you can go with a guide, or wander freely between the outcrops and interpret the unique carvings. The area offers plenty of sights, for instance the fortress Bohus fästning, and the town of Kungälv with it's buildings dating back to the 1600's. Marstrand is within driving distance, it is the sailing metropolis of Sweden! In the buildings, much has been preserved from when shipping, fishing and stone-cutting flourished, which gave Bovallstrand its fine atmosphere. In the immediate area there are more pleasant and well-visited archipelago communities such as Smögen and Hunnebostrand, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination. In nearby Gerlesborg, there is an art school and a collective workshop where you can both see various exhibitions but also attend various training courses. If the weather turns cloudy or you feel the need for a workout in a gym environment, there is Tumlaren, Sotenäs municipality's swimming and wellness facility located in the coastal community of Väjern.

In Hamburgsund there are nice shops, restaurants, cafes, fishmongers, mini golf and several nice bathing spots. Here you can also rent kayaks, try diving, go on boat charters and archipelago boats to see the fantastic archipelago, e.g. to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väder Islands. Just outside the community are the remains of an ancient castle located on a high mountain with a mile-long view of sea and land, a perfect excursion destination for a coffee break. A Viking market is also held there in early August. The community also has an outdoor stage "Scen på Bönn" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theatre. From Hamburgsund, a car ferry goes over to neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing spots and coastal paths with fantastic views of the surroundings and the archipelago's many islands.
