You can enter the lower floor by the main entrance and come to a smaller hall. The bathroom is directly to the right and is bright and fresh. Here there is a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. A steeper staircase leads up to the upper level. Here is the family room with lots of light thanks to the large balcony that spreads out with a lake view and large windows. In the family room there are armchairs and a day bed that is 160 cm spread out. Straight ahead is the kitchen, which is integrated with the living room with a dining area for 4-6 people. The day bed is similar to the other with a day bed that is 160 cm spread out. The kitchen is homely with newer features such as the oven, which is an induction oven. Here you will find most of what you may need for a good week's holiday. It is a shared plot with the house owners, but the cabin is a bit separated from the house owners who live next door in the big red house. The found jetty with bathing ladder is welcome to use and can be reached via the homeowners' garden on the right side of their house. The boat is also included in the accommodation where you can row out for a day on the island next door. Final cleaning and bed linen can be pre-booked. If you order bed linen there is towels included. The house is advantageously rented from spring until autumn and offers swimming, boat trips on the lake, fishing opportunities, nice walks in the forest and also moose safaris. Here you will feel comfortable and perfect for couples or the small family with children who want to experience a nice holiday where Sweden is at its most beautiful. You have to be a little vigilant on the steep stairs in the house. A stone's throw from your accommodation is the lock at Köpmannebro, which is the first in the Dalsland canal. Welcome to Germundebyn – a part of beautiful Bengtsfors where the Dalsland Canal flows through the town of Bengtsfors and there are plenty of beautiful hiking trails, magnificent nature with dense forest and with rich wildlife. Outside the cottage, deer graze and if you are lucky, both moose and fox can sneak forward. In the pond below the house lives a small duck family that builds nests in the reeds. The cottage is located in rural idyll and with only 8 min picture ride to the clear lake Edslan which is a nice bathing place with café and restaurant next door. You are welcomed by a comfortable terrace in a sunny position with a patio door. The décor and wallpaper is of mixed older 1970s style with where one bedroom is wallpapered in 2021. The entrance is on the long side and you have a long hall. On the left is the first bedroom with a single bed 120 cm. On the right is a spacious bathroom. Facilities include a washing machine, sink and toilet. The toilet is an older variant of mulltoa. The sauna is out of order. Straight ahead, the large living room opens up. There is a wood-burning stove and two sofas for comfortable evenings. One sofa is a sofa bed 120 cm wide. Here is a dining room table for the evening's dinners. Next door is a wood-burning stove that can crackle well in the evenings and there is the second bedroom with a double bed 160cm. The kitchen is located next door and is of classic Swedish 1970s style. There is a stove, microwave and coffee maker along with a kitchen table that seats 4 people. This accommodation is perfect for families with children and the company who want proximity to swimming and all the beautiful things the area has to offer. Swimming in Örnäsbadet in Åmål is recommended, visits to the candy factory Dals Konfektyr and Gammelgården in Bengtsfors. If you want to experience the outdoors, the area is perfect for paddling, fishing, cycling and hiking. Brudfjället is a well-known and well-visited area and you must not miss beautiful and incredible Dalsland Canal. Here you will enjoy the beautiful nature outside. This lovely holiday home is located in the little village of Näs, on the border between Dalsland and Värmland. It is set in scenic surroundings, only 100 metres from lake Västra Silen. The house is set on a dairy farm with 20 cows. It is surrounded by pastures, fields, and woodlands. Chances are you will spot elk, deer, and foxes in the neighbourhood! The house features a light and airy kitchen equipped with a dining table and the basic amenities. Next to the kitchen, there's a spacious living room . The bottom floor also features a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a WC, a washbasin, a bath tub, and a washing machine. On the upper floor you will find another living room and another bedroom with two beds. There's another two beds in the annex, 10 metres from the main building. The owner appreciates advance notice if you wish to use the annex. Electric motor for the boat is available for rent for a weekly price paid on site to the homeowner. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and lake Västra Silen is only 100 metres away. A rowing boat is included in the rent. Why not go for a fishing trip, the lake is well known for it's excellent fishing water, with pike, bass, and salmon. Don't forget to buy a fishing permit! The beautiful nature reserve Glasskogsreservatet is only 40 kilometres away. There's a golf course about 15 kilometres from the house. The Norwegian border is only 40 kilometres away. This nice country house is located in Järbo in Högsäter, Dalsland. There is room for 11 guests so it is a perfect house for several families celebrating holidays together. This is a perfect location for a house as the house is centrally located in Dalsland and you can reach all municipalities within a maximum of one hour; Färgelanda, Bengtsfors, Dals-Ed, Mellerud and Åmål. The house was built in 1870 and has a wonderful country style. You are welcomed into the house in a glazed entrance to then enter a hall, the first room on the right is a room with two single beds, you continue into a large lovely living room where there is also a tiled stove to fire in too high a comfort factor, the next room on the ground floor is a small living room and toilet and shower are adjacent, then you enter the large lovely country kitchen. A steep staircase leads you upstairs where the first room on the left has a single bed, in the next room there is a double bed and a single bed, if you continue to follow the hall there is another large bedroom with double bed and a single bed and inside this bedroom a sleeping alcove with a single bed, outside the master bedroom there is another sleeping alcove with a single bed, upstairs there is also a toilet. At the end of the house there is a large lovely terrace where there is room for cozy barbecues with a view of the house's nice pond. Here is a rich bird life and you have notes 95 different species in the environment, why not bring binoculars. Otherwise you can just sit and enjoy in peace and quiet. In the large garden there is room for a lot of play and mischief, here there is also a swing set for the little ones. There are many nice little lakes to swim in when you are in Dalsland, the nearest swimming Råvattnet is about 900 meters from the house. It is a mountain lake that is 35 meters deepest. There is a small beach, jetty with ladder- Fishing allowed, there is no need for a fishing license in this lake for house guests! At a few miles distance you will find Kroppefjälls nature reserve, where there are several nice hiking trails and you come to a scenic environment. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, cycling, going to flea markets are some tips on what you can do on your holiday. Dalsland is flooded with nature and cultural heritage in all its forms, among other things, it is definitely worth visiting the Aqueduct in Håverud in Dals-Rostock, which is located in the middle of Dalsland in Mellerud municipality. There is an old spa with interesting history. you can visit an artist's studio with a shop and a rural museum. When you are in these areas, it is almost a must for those who like long fine white sandy beaches to visit Vita Sandar. For the adventurous, we recommend Dalsland's Activities, which is one of Europe's largest facilities when it comes to adventures out in the woods and on the ground, there is also both a restaurant and a café that offers local ingredients. Welcome to a cozy and snug cabin with room for many guests. The cabin is located in a quiet, family-friendly area in scenic Dalsland. You are welcomed directly into the kitchen through the cabin's entrance door, the cabin has an open floor plan where the kitchen and living room are one, there is a kitchen table with four chairs and a comfortable sofa where you can watch TV, or just cozy up in front of the fire. If you continue into the cabin, there is a small hall that leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom with shower, wc and washing machine. One bedroom has two single beds and the other has a double bed and TV. Through a door in the hall, you come out to a large, lovely terrace with outdoor furniture where you can socialize and have a good barbecue. There is also a patio at the back. Around the house there are large areas of lawn to run and play on, there is also a swing set. On the farm there is a guest house so perfect if you have older children who want to be on their own. The town is known for its paper mill, Billingsfors mill, which is located at Laxsjön. Dalsland Canal passes the paper mill in the ascent between Laxsjön and Bengtsbrohöljen. This ascent has three locks. The rapid stretch between Bengtsbrohöljen and Laxsjön is called Höljerudsforsarna and is a nature reserve. Here you can stay throughout the year and every season has its charms. Enjoy the lovely spring or summer, many small lakes with bathing areas are nearby, paddle, fish, golf, hike, ride a canal boat, pedal dressage, hike, experience moose safari. Autumn in Dalsland is incredibly beautiful with all the colors of the trees, and with the forest next to the house you can go out and look for mushrooms or just enjoy lovely forest walks. To the right of the kitchen there are two bedrooms in one there is a double bed and wardrobes, in the other bedroom there is a single bed that the bedroom leads on to the living room where there is no door, door to the kitchen is located. To the right from the hall you have a bathroom with shower and toilet, a large lovely living room with a sofa bed and TV, a small office, door leading out to the back of the house there is a large terrace with outdoor furniture where you can socialize and barbecue well. Around the whole house there is lawn to run around and play on. In the basement there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, there is also a high chair and cot to borrow. Sometimes the garden is visited by deer and if you are lucky you can see moose up close. A berth is available. About 20 meters from the villa goes a small road, not much traffic. Private parking is available. The prepared cycle path between Billingsfors and Bengtsfors is within a few minutes' distance of the villa. Locks 16, 17, 18 in Dalslands Kanal are within walking distance, also stop to board canal boat from Billingsfors. The 18 lock is known as the most photographed along the canal due to a wonderful little red cottage with picturesque garden located next to the lock. Exclusive trout fishing in Hölljerudsforsarna, between Bengtsbrohäljen and Laxsjön there are three rapids. Höljerudsforsarna consists of the upper rapids, an approximately 250 meter long rapids stretch with 6 meters drop height and the lower smaller rapids with about 2 meters drop height. Here you can fish trout and streamers for which the rapids are best known. Laxsjön is a lake with relatively clear and cold water. The lake has a natural trout population and every year trout are caught in weights up to 7 kg. Pike and perch reach high weights in Laxsjön. Largest pike of 15.1 kg and perch of 2.4 kg. Good ice fishing on rough perch. Fish species: perch, pike, roach, bream, tench, whitefish, vendace, cormorant, lake and trout. NB! Catch & Release on all trout regardless of size. For pike, fish between 50 and 80 cm may be picked up. Nearest launching ramp Billingsfors Marina. Fishing licenses can be purchased on the internet.
