PARKING Lilla Brattön is car-free, there is an unguarded free parking lot right next to Almöbryggan, at Tjörnbro Arena and at Restaurang Tjörnbron. Remember not to leave valuables in the car. It is a maximum of 6 minutes walk from the parking lot to the reception at Tjörnbro Arena. FERRY To get to Lilla Brattön you need to take a ferry. Departure is from Almö jetty, a 2-minute walk from the reception at Tjörnbro Arena. Parking is available near the ferry landing. No advance booking is required. Ferry travel time is 5 minutes. CABIN Each cabin has a kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and coffee maker. Simple kitchen equipment and crockery are available in the cabin. There is also access to a grill to borrow on the island. There is a toilet with a shower. As a guest, you bring all consumables such as coffee filters, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, dishcloth, dish brush, towels, bed linen, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the cabin. A fee of 5000 SEK will be charged for smoking. Here at Lilla Brattön we want you as a guest to relax to the fullest and we would like to point out that there is no TV or Wifi in the cabin. Wifi access is available at Elviras Skärgårdskrog. BEACHES On Lilla Brattön there are several swimming areas to enjoy. Everything from the large swimming area with diving tower, jetties and the wood-fired sauna to small cozy hidden coves. DOGS & BICYCLES Lilla Brattön has two cottages (Flottviken and Havsviken) where pets are welcome. On Lilla Brattön all dogs must be on a leash and are not allowed in the swimming area and playground. Bicycles, skateboards, inlines and the like on wheels are unfortunately not allowed on the island. SERVICE SHOP On Lilla Brattön there is a small service shop with a basic range during the high season. CHECK IN Every day: no earlier than 3:00 PM Check-in takes place at the reception at Tjörnbro Arena. There you will receive a key, information and a map. Allow at least 45 minutes for check-in to the ferry departure. You can leave your luggage in the car when you go to check-in and pick it up on the way to the ferry. If you have booked bed linen, you can pick it up at the Lilla Brattön office. CHECK OUT All days: Leave the cottage no later than 10:00. Check-out takes place at the reception at Tjörnbro Arena no later than 11:00. When you leave the cottage, it must be properly cleaned according to the cleaning list in the cottage. We will check the cottage after check-out and document any errors. If the cottage is not properly cleaned, a cleaning fee of 2500 SEK will be charged. It is possible to book a final cleaning of the cottage. If you have rented bed linen, these must be handed in to the Lilla Brattön office. CLEANING, BED LINEN, LAUNDRY FACILITIES The cottage has cleaning equipment with vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, cleaning agents, rags. When you leave the cottage, it must be properly cleaned according to the cleaning list found in the cottage. We will inspect the cottage after check-out and document any errors. If the cottage is not properly cleaned, a cleaning fee of 2500 SEK will be charged. It is possible to book a final cleaning of the cottage. This can be booked no later than 7 days before arrival. Here you will find professional fishermen where you can buy fresh fish, shrimp and crabs directly from the boats. At Östra kajen, a new promenade has been built, a long pier to Skäddhålan and which then continues in a hiking trail to Vigene bathing area which is also your cottage's bathing areas within walking distance. This cozy coastal community, with its beautiful villas and sea-splashed piers is popular in many ways, including large parts of the popular TV series Saltön were filmed here. There are several bathing areas in the area for cooling baths, sand between your toes and relaxation on the sun-warmed rocks. Experience the archipelago by, for example, renting a kayak or going on a seal safari or hiking on coastal roads and paths. Via a footpath with stairs you reach this nicely renovated cottage with its annex. The cottage is located high up with a view of Grundsund's fishing village. From the natural plot you walk a few meters up to the top of the mountain and from there you have a panoramic view of the sea, archipelago and picturesque Grundsund. On the inside of the cottage's entrance you are greeted by a hall that leads further into the kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher, dining area, living room with wonderfully comfortable sofa group and a warming wood-burning stove. From one of the bedrooms double doors lead out to a small balcony with an incomparable view of Grundsund, the living room also has a small balcony with a view of the sea and the mountain plateau outside. From the kitchen, patio doors lead out to the surrounding patio areas and annex with a bedroom with a double bed and a toilet. On one of the patio areas there is summer furniture and a barbecue, a lovely place for good conversation while you grill a good piece of food with something tasty in your glass. From the cottage you can also easily make day trips to other places worth visiting on Skaftö or Havets Hus in Lysekil, Nordens Ark, Smögen, Kungshamn or other fishing and boat communities in northern Bohuslän.
