The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Go on a tour down into the bastions and casemates, follow along from the 13th century to our own time. If you go south, you will immediately reach the nice summer town of Falkenberg with its fine selection of cafes, shops, and restaurants. Here is also the fantastic long sandy beach at Skrea. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. At a height in the garden there is a small wooden deck, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee in quiet and peace while overlooking the sea. NOTE: Information about garbage disposal is available in the house. This holiday home is light and airy, with a beautifully decorated conservatory by the kitchen. The spacious dining area offers you to gather and have a good meal together and socialize regardless of the weather. There is a TV that is used as a screen if you for example wish to plug in your computer, but there are no channels. Laholm has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the town and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. There are also several lovely hiking trails on Hallandsåsen. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad smed with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. Laholm's golf club is closest to you. Please note: Youth groups under 25-years old are not allowed to book this cottage. Not allowed to charge electric cars on the plot.
