In the kitchen there is a nice dining area and an old wood stove, otherwise equipped with what you need. In the bedroom there is a soapstone stove whose crackling fire provides inspiration for reading and conversation in a nice sitting area, as well as two single beds where you sleep comfortably. In the second bedroom you can socialize on two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa bed for two people. There is also a bunk bed with the remaining two beds. The farm is very beautifully situated with the grounds sloping down towards Lake Bornan, close to the Åland Sea and large forests. Here you can take a morning swim in a calm lake, be close to dramatic sea bathing and pick mushrooms and berries in large forests. Take peaceful forest walks in the nature-protected troll forests around Lake Bornan or hike on the Roslagsleden trail along the sea on Väddö. In the immediate vicinity there is Ortalabruk - an old ironworks from the 17th century, there is the opportunity to play tennis, paddle and rent a boat in Älmsta and play golf at Väddö golf course. In the nearby town of Älmsta there are several shops; a large grocery store, pharmacy and several restaurants and a Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit. If you want a larger selection, there is everything you could possibly need in central Norrtölje, which in itself is worth a visit! A half hour drive away is Grisslehamn on the Sea of ​​Åland with a fishing port – smokehouses, Albert Engström's museum, café, restaurants and the Eckerö Linjen.

The house has two floors; upstairs there are two bedrooms with two beds in each and on the entrance floor there is a kitchen, bathroom and living room. The house has many windows with a view of the pleasant mountain plot. If you go down the path from the house there is access to a sauna and outdoor shower. On the balcony by the kitchen there is an outdoor kitchen with a grill and seating for nice dinners. Just 300 meters from the house is the Baltic Sea, you can see a glimpse of the water from the house. On soft forest paths you go down and take a dip from the rocks, if you want a sandy beach it is 500 meters in the other direction. There are nice nature trails in the area for walks. There is a grocery store, restaurants and a bus to Stockholm in Stavsnäs, where you can also take the archipelago boats further out into the archipelago or into Stockholm.

On the beautiful Adelsö, one of the Mälaren islands, you will find this cozy house. In the large house there is a living room and kitchen with the facilities you need for a comfortable holiday. Also a lovely modern bathroom with a steam sauna, washing machine and drying cabinet and a double bedroom with access to the large balcony. The balcony has many cozy seats, a hammock to slowly swing in and a wood-fired hot tub. At one end of the balcony is a shed with space for three people. There is no water and toilet here, only sleeping places. The plot has a wonderful and large lawn for fun activities, the owners have a kubb and croquet that you are welcome to borrow. Two hundred meters from the house there is a rock swimming pool and if you want a sandy beach there is a family swimming pool at Hovegården which is four km from the house. Adelsö has a lot to discover, from Hovgården there is a boat to Birka, with interesting Viking finds. If you like hiking, there are many nice hiking tours on the island. There are old burial mounds and rune stones on the island. You can get to the island by free car ferry that runs a shuttle service during the summer months. There is a small grocery store at the ferry, if you want a larger store there is one in Ekerö center, where there is also a gas station and a system company. There is a bus to Stockholm, so you don't need to take the car, but there is also a large shuttle parking lot at Ekerö center, from there you can take a boat into central Stockholm, a nice boat trip.

Harge Uddar is set by the shore of lake Vättern and offers a breathtaking view, a grill area, and a lovely ,rocky bathing spot. Don't miss the castle Stjernsunds Slott which is only five kilometres away and offers guided tours every day. Another lovely place you can visit is the picturesque town of Askersund which is 11 kilometres away. Here you will find shops, a mini-zoo, a little chocolate factory, a beach, and a lovely harbour. The boat M/S Wetterwik offers plenty of cruises in Vättern. The town of Olshammar is 15 kilometres from your holiday home. It has a rich history. Here you will find Birgittakyrkan. Saint Bridget and her husband Ulf Gudmarsson spent some time here in the 1300's . You can also visit Olshammarsgården where the writer Verner von Heidenstam was born. Other places to visit are Medevi Brunn with it's park concerts, theatre, and museums. Don't miss the nature reserve Tivedens Nationalpark, 30 kilometres away. There is a barbecue area on the terrace and plenty of large tables for nice dinners in the summer. There are nice walking paths in the area and the bus to Södertälje stops 150 m from the house. From Södertälje, the commuter train goes into Stockholm when you want to experience the big city. In Södertälje there are plenty of shops and Tom Tits experiment which is an experience for both young and old.

If it is chilly inside you can light the large soapstone stove which quickly provides a cozy warmth in the house.
