Pleasant accommodation on a lovely island in the Stockholm archipelago. Please note that no archipelago boat goes to this island, you have to order a taxi boat to get here. On this lovely plot with a secluded sea location by a nice little bay, you really experience Stockholm's beautiful archipelago. The house is on a height and has water on three sides with its own jetty. There are lovely cliffs to jump from here. A rowing boat is included in the rent, and a motor can be rented from the homeowner to get to the grocery store or for a fishing trip. There are plenty of fishing rods to borrow and pull up your own perches with. The property has two residential buildings, the larger one with a kitchen and a glazed conservatory and a large newly built open terrace outside. There is an electric grill and a charcoal grill to take out to the terrace. In the large house, there are three bedrooms with single beds, separate shower and electric toilet as well as an open kitchen and living room. In the smaller house there is a room with a bunk bed and a single bed, in the second bedroom there is a double bed that is 120 cm. The cottage in its simplicity with small rooms in an older style has the facilities you need for a successful holiday. Glazed balcony with a view of the water and a nice slightly hilly plot that has a beautiful view over the lake. 50 meters below the house is the bathing jetty for the morning dip and next to a small boathouse with table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the peace. A short walk takes you to the sea and a beautiful coastline offering wonderful swimming from beautiful rocks, piers, and even sandy beaches. Here you can find your favorite spot for swimming and picnicking with a view over the sea and skerries, as well as the island where Saltkråkan was filmed. A boat berth is available for you to borrow during your stay if you wish. The house welcomes you with an entrance leading to an inner hall where you reach a large living room with an open floor plan towards a pleasant dining area in the kitchen. The living room has a TV for streaming and a fireplace. The kitchen has what you need, and between the kitchen and the dining area, there is an exit to the patio. On the patio, there are outdoor furniture, a grill, and an umbrella. On the entrance floor, there are also two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a crib, and the other with a bunk bed. In the inner hall, stairs lead up to the upper floor where you have a bedroom with a double bed and a crib. Blidö is a very popular destination, one of the few places you can easily reach so far out in the archipelago by car, bus, and ferry. On Blidö, there is everything from a grocery store, bakery, church, health center, and farms. There are several different bathing spots in both the sea and lake, as well as nice walking paths; find your favorite spots! Rådmansholmsbadet is perfect for families with children with its shallow beach. A tip is also to take a trip to central Norrtälje to stroll through the alleys along the canal; here you will also find everything you need in terms of services and more. For those who want more city life, take a trip to Stockholm city where you can visit the Royal Palace, Skansen, or why not Gröna Lund! You can easily get to central Stockholm via a 2.5-hour boat ride, which offers a beautiful archipelago tour. If you want to take a longer boat trip, you can go to Grisslehamn to take the Eckerö Line over to Åland. Let the vacation begin!

Very nice and well-planned house just south of Tranås built in 2013 with only 500 m to lake Sommen. If you walk a short distance to about 1.5 km you will find nice bathing cliffs with beautiful views out to the lake with its many islands. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and nice to have a nice holiday. Welcoming covered entrance porch. The lower floor contains a large, lovely kitchen and family room in an open plan. Modern kitchen with kitchen island and substantial dining area, there are all the facilities you need. The family room part with a nice furniture group. The room also has an open roof up to the ridge, which gives a lovely spaciousness. Large windows with two exits to the large balcony which is on two sides of the house. On the lower floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, WC and fully tiled shower area in top class. Large well-planned entrance hall with washing machine. The beautiful curved staircase leads up to another family room on the upper floor and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed. The whole house has underfloor heating and is very tastefully built and decorated and has free Wifi, TV screen with Chromecast. On the large balcony that runs on two sides of the house, there is outdoor furniture and a ball grill. Surely the perfect place for sunny and lazy days. Around the house there are large, nice lawns for hanging out and playing. It is about 500 m down to the large lake Sommen, and here only a dip at the natural beach is suitable. About 5 km from the house there is a municipal bathing beach with a sandy beach and jetties that are best suited for the younger ones. If you want to rent a boat, there is an option out at Torpön (approx. 10 km). Try your luck at fishing or just take a relaxing rowing trip in the beautiful lake. Weekly fishing licenses are bought in the resort. Out here on Torpön there is also a summer shop, restaurant, nature reserve and several hiking trails. As a day trip, perhaps a car trip around the lake with many picturesque small villages and many sights is suitable. From Tranås you can book a trip with a real steamboat around the lake. Great experience and a lot of feeling. For shopping, restaurant visits and many attractions, there are several nice towns around, such as Tranås, Gränna (by Lake Vättern), Nässjö and Eksjö. For the younger ones, a day trip to both Kolmården Zoo (approx. 1.5 hours by car) or Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby (approx. 1 hour by car) is suitable. Welcome

Nature here is stunning and there are many lovely places you can make excursions too. Harge Uddar is set by the shore of lake Vättern and offers a breathtaking view, a grill area, and a lovely ,rocky bathing spot. Don't miss the castle Stjernsunds Slott which is only five kilometres away and offers guided tours every day. Another lovely place you can visit is the picturesque town of Askersund which is 11 kilometres away. Here you will find shops, a mini-zoo, a little chocolate factory, a beach, and a lovely harbour. The boat M/S Wetterwik offers plenty of cruises in Vättern. The town of Olshammar is 15 kilometres from your holiday home. It has a rich history. Here you will find Birgittakyrkan. Saint Bridget and her husband Ulf Gudmarsson spent some time here in the 1300's . You can also visit Olshammarsgården where the writer Verner von Heidenstam was born. Other places to visit are Medevi Brunn with it's park concerts, theatre, and museums. Don't miss the nature reserve Tivedens Nationalpark, 30 kilometres away. A wonderful holiday home with a high, nice and private location on Rådmansö. Located north of Stockholm and about 15 km to Norrtälje. The cottage is located in a nice cottage area with a heated communal pool and a children's pool. The interior is bright and nice with an open plan between the kitchen and living room. There is a wood-burning stove that can be lit for cozy moments together on a chilly evening. Two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed is spacious. The other bedroom has a bunk bed. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Next to the cottage there is a guest cottage with bunk beds that may be suitable for older people who want some time to themselves during the holiday. The cottage is located on a nice hilly natural plot with trees at the corner. A wonderful terrace for those memorable summer evenings, good food, close company and easy-to-cook barbecue dinners, that's what you want for a pleasant relaxing holiday. Down the hill about 1km you have the common pool area with a pool for adults and a pool for children. Booking this cottage also gives a little extra joy as the owners work with development work in poor countries. There is some information on site about her work in Africa. With its many bays and lakes, Rådmansö has long been a favorite for well-to-do Stockholmers who long for peace and quiet, sun and swimming. During the summer there is a wide range of activities for the whole family. Driving distance to several nice beaches along the Baltic Sea coast. You have very good communications to all of Stockholm's nice attractions, by car it takes an hour, you can also take direct buses from Norrtälje. With the Stockholm Card you have both transport and entrances at a reasonable price. With the Åland ferry you can also put together a shopping cruise to Åland without any problems. Norrtälje has all the services and a picturesque city center with several interesting museums. The sea cannot be seen from the cottage.
