It also takes about 40 minutes to reach Växjö and its shopping, restaurants and cafes. If you are keen to visit the sea, you can reach Oskarshamn and Kalmar in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Here you can rent the smallest cottage called "Axelshus" this house has a large conservatory where you can glimpse the lake between the trees and see the lovely forest in the other direction. The property is located by Lake Bolmen, Sweden's 12th largest lake, known in sport fishing circles for its fantastic fishing opportunities. The cottages have their own swimming area just a stone's throw away. There will be a boat after June 7th, as well as a kayak that is shared by the three cottages. For those interested in fishing, there is a shared cleaning area, where you can clean the day's catch directly after the fishing trip. There is a family bed 120 + 80 for 2-3 people, and a summer bedroom adjacent to the conservatory. This room is not insulated all year round and is used according to recommendations from the owners only in the summer months. Here you have a large window with the same wonderful view as the glazed balcony. The cottages have a TV screen with HDMI cable so those who want to watch TV need to bring a chrome cast or similar to connect. Here you have a perfect starting point to explore the fantastic lake Bolmen, fish, swim or just enjoy the wonderful surroundings. The swimming area that belongs to the 3 cottages is about 50 down from the house, the slightly sheltered location means that it is a little more wind protected up by the houses. 15km away you will find Tiraholms fisk, which is a cozy restaurant and fish shop, well worth a visit.

Beautiful, well-maintained house on the fine farm Mulestad located just outside the pleasant village of Odensvi. Here you live close to the lake in scenic surroundings and at the same time have proximity to the coast. The house has two lovely balconies with outdoor furniture. From the balcony at the house's entrance you have a view of the yard and from the more secluded one at the back you can enjoy the view of the extensive meadows. There is also a nice balcony at the front. You have a large, bright family room with a dining area. The kitchen is fresh with modern equipment. The beautiful curved staircase leads up to the upper floor, to the pleasant living room with sofa group. You sleep in two bedrooms, one with two single beds that can be put together to make a double bed, the other with a single bed. The fourth bed is in the living room upstairs. You have a fresh bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. The whole house is in good condition and several of the rooms have underfloor heating. The house also has a fiber connection for fast data traffic. At Mulestad farm there are horses, sheep, chickens and a cat. In front of the house, large, nice grassy areas for play and games. The farm is surrounded by large beautiful meadows and forests with lots of wildlife such as moose, roe deer, deer, foxes and hares. In addition, fine grounds for berries and mushrooms in the right season. There are many beautiful lakes for swimming in the surroundings, but the nearest lake Oppsjön that you can see from the farm is not a swimming lake. It is about 8 km to the nearest village of Odensvi and here there is a shop, a small cafe and a large, nice municipal beach with a shallow sandy beach, jetties, bathing ladder, playground and outdoor gym. You can rent a rowing boat in Lake Trehörningen, about 4.5 km away, where you can try your luck at fishing or take a relaxing rowing trip. The slightly larger community of Gamleby by the sea is about 22 km away and here there are nice sea baths, shops, restaurants and cafes. Here is also Garpedansberget, an exciting sculpture trail with a variety of sculptures taken from local legends about goblins, nymphs, elves, fairies and dragons. You are also close to the popular Loftahammar, which is known for its nice baths, its beautiful nature and archipelago. A must for the younger ones is perhaps a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby or Wirum's moose park where you can enjoy the moose up close. Visit the cozy summer town of Västervik with lots of charm, city life, sights and events during the summer. There is a nice swimming area with sandy beach and piers at Övrasjön. It is easy to take the car there or walk a walking path of about 900m. Freshly baked bread can be bought at Sara's wood-fired bakery which is open a few days/week (300m). The grocery store is 400m away. The nice sky blue kitchen is large and spacious. Here you have plenty of space to prepare your meals. In the nice dining room you can sit down and socialize and enjoy the food. The living room has a comfortable sofa and TV with German channels. You sleep in three bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom has a double bed, the second a single bed, the third a sofa bed for two people. Upstairs there is a nice bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. One with a comfortable double bed. The second bedroom is a beautiful glassed-in room with curtains where you sleep in a 120cm wide bed. In the third room there is a single bed that is 80cm wide. In the living room there is a large sofa that can be made up with a latex mattress into a 140cm wide bed. Then there is a guest cabin without electricity with a 140cm wide sofa bed. In the bathroom there is also a washing machine and dryer. There are a variety of excursion destinations to choose from.
