If you have smaller children, Dragskärsbadet is a better choice where you can enjoy a wonderful sandy beach. It is within walking distance and if you want, you can even swim there. It is possible to rent a rowing boat for 5 people. Book in advance. Some life jackets are available for loan. You live in a charming log cabin with an accompanying little cabin. The large cabin has a beautiful glass-enclosed veranda where you can see the sea. You also have a patio in front of the little cabin with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. In the main house there is a large, nice kitchen with a dining area where you can prepare your meals. You have a large, lovely living room where the ceiling is beautifully open up to the ridge with seating, dining furniture and a TV. There is a cozy sleeping loft where you sleep directly under the ridge of the roof in two beds. Note that there is a steep ladder that you pull out to get up here, which makes these beds not suitable for small children or people with reduced mobility. You also sleep in the little cottage where there is a family bunk bed with a bottom bed that is 120cm wide and a sofa bed of 140cm. There is an extra mattress for the sofa bed for extra comfort. Note that the bathroom is in the little cottage. The house is located on a cape and accommodates two properties, so there is a neighboring house nearby that faces the other way.

In the southern parts of Småland, in wonderfully rural surroundings but with Småland's lovely lake landscape in the vicinity, you have the opportunity to experience all the best of the region. Just about 10km away you have Åsnen, which is a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands and is Sweden's newest national park. Here you can experience a lot both on water and on land as there are many hiking trails and inviting barbecue areas. If you want to go on an adventure, all the attractions of the Glasriket is about 1 hour away by car, about 45km away is Växjö with shopping, restaurants and cafes. 50km south you reach Karlshamn and the sea if you are craving a day at the beach.

Seaside house on Oknö where you have a lovely south-facing patio deck with sunbeds, outdoor furniture, infrared sauna and outdoor shower. In the garden there is a nice boules court. For the children, there are swings, a small playhouse and a sandbox. On Oknö there are many bathing spots to enjoy a refreshing dip. Closest to you is the "Old Ferry Camp" with its large newly built jetty, volleyball court, bakery and small restaurant where light food and ice cream are sold. You are also close to a more child-friendly swimming area with a shallower sandy bottom. The house has a nice glazed patio where you can enjoy well into the evening. It has an open floor plan with a kitchen area that transitions into a living room where there is a sitting area with a sofa and a nice dining area. The large house has two bedrooms. One is open to the living room and is a passageway to the second bedroom and the glazed balcony. There are two beds here. The second bedroom can be separated with a curtain. Here there is a 140 cm wide bed. There is also a guest cabin with two bunk beds. You have a large bathroom with wc, sink, shower, washing machine and dryer. Note that the bathroom has a sooty glass door that is not privacy protected. There is a lot to do in Oknö. You can hike the scenic path near the sea around the entire island. At the campsite, there is a swimming area, restaurant, playground, small shop, pool golf and rental of bicycles and pedal cars. At the first swimming area on Oknö there is a jumping tower for those who wish. There is another nice restaurant here. In Mönsterås there is a popular water palace that the children love

Welcome to a cozy cabin located in the beautiful village of Bohult in Småland. Perfect for those who want to live in a small village, close to the forest, farmland and its scenic walking areas. The farm is a family farm and has previously practiced agriculture. Here you can enjoy the silence and peace. The garden with fruit trees and berry bushes is great for playing or you choose to sit under the pear tree on a blanket and just be. It is also possible to grill outdoors. The cabin has three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and another one which is adjacent to the dining room. Note that there is an open space between this bedroom and the dining room. There is a spacious kitchen and in the large dining room you have plenty of space for lovely dinners. The living room is located right by the entrance, however, there is an entrance at the back which is also perfectly usable. The cabin has its own well and it is recommended to use water sparingly when e.g. showering. It is about 8 km to the country store in Lönashult or Häradsbäck. If you want more shopping, Växjö is a 40-minute drive away. Swimming area with jetty and barbecue area is two kilometers away. If you want a more secluded bath, this is also available nearby on Ferö, you reach the bath after a walk of about 600m. It is possible to borrow a boat at Lake Femlingen.

Newly renovated cottage with feeling of space. This cottage, which can accommodate up to 6 people, is completely renovated and has everything you need. The cottage has a fantastic ceiling height, which gives the entire accommodation a wonderfully airy feeling. The kitchen is brand new, with everything you could possibly need, the dining room and living room are connected. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is a sofa bed (150cm wide) in the living room if you would like to be more than four. The cottage is located on the owner's property in the community of Bredaryd. Here you are close to most things, about 20km away you have Värnamo with restaurants, cafes and shopping. 16 km away you will find High Chapparal, 19km away is Stora Mosse National Park, and 36km away is Isaberg Mountain resort. So the perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding area. Not far from the cottage is a slightly larger road so at certain times you can hear the traffic. There is a charger for electric cars, but there is an additional cost if you want to use it.

Nice house with a small lake plot in cozy Kråkelund. Here you live only 20m from the sea and can enjoy a lovely patio deck with outdoor furniture right down by the seaside. There is also a pier with a bathing ladder where you can take a cooling dip. There is a small rowing boat for exploring the area at sea. Note that the jetty is shared with another boat owner who has his berth here. Life jackets for both children and adults are available. In front of the house down towards the sea is a neighboring house, so the plot belonging to the house is to the left of that house and thus narrows down towards the sea. You also have two patios up by the house. At the front there is a covered terrace where you can enjoy the sea view in comfortable outdoor furniture. At the gable end of the house is a patio deck with lounge furniture. Here you can enjoy grilling a piece of food for the evening. The house has a kitchen with a nice dining area. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa that can be made into an extra double bed. Extra bed mattresses are available for comfort. There is also a TV and a wood-burning stove here. The stove was only used by people who mastered the technology. Bring your own firewood. In the bedroom there is a double bed. The bathroom is newly renovated and fresh with toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. Note that there are level differences in the house and that the terrain down towards the sea is a bit difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. Note that the ceiling height is lower in, for example, the kitchen. Note that the plot narrows down towards the sea. Cars parked along the road to make way for the road to the neighboring house. Behind the house Kråkelund's beautiful lighthouse towers. There are rocks nearby where you can swim. There is also a swimming area on the way towards Kråkelund. The fishing is good. There are also plenty of day trips if you wish. Oskarshamn is 30 km away. From here you can take the ferry over to Öland or Blå Jungfrun during the summer. Vimmerby with its Astrid Lindgren's World is usually popular with children. Likewise Wirum moose park where you can experience moose up close. In Klintmåla there is a popular cafe in the harbour. You are close to lakes, but also to the forests and nature for which Småland is so famous. You will stay in a cozy stone house located on a farm, so animals may be grazing nearby and there may also be work going on around the farm, as is usual in such a lovely agricultural environment. It is a large, spacious house with a large, spacious kitchen and adjoining dining room. Living room with fireplace. A short drive away is Tingsryd, where there are several shops and the well-known Börjes department store. There is also a good swimming spot and an adventure pool/swimming hall. For those who enjoy being in nature, Åsnen National Park is nearby, where you can cycle and hike among many attractions. About an hour's drive away, you can visit Karlskrona, Ronneby, and Karlshamn, which are truly beautiful summer gems. If you want to go on an adventure, all of Glasriket's attractions are about an hour away by car, and Växjö, with its shopping, restaurants, and cafes, is about 45 km away. If you want to visit a larger city, Växjö is not far away.

In the southern parts of Småland, in lovely rural surroundings, with fantastic nature and lake scenery in the area, you will find this cozy little cottage. Here you have the opportunity to experience all the best of Småland. Lake Åsnen is about 16 km away, Åsnen is a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands and is Sweden's newest national park. The cottage shares the plot with the owners, but feels secluded due to a larger Hedge in between. The patio is also on the away side of the house, so it creates privacy when you spend time on the patio. The cabin is small but well planned with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Two sleeping places are on the first floor in a sofa bed, the remaining three of the beds are in a sleeping loft which is reached via a fold-down ladder. (see picture) Here it is low to the ceiling and you cannot stand up. About 10 minutes away by car you will find Korrö, where there is a lot to do for the whole family. You can hike, cycle, visit the spa, restaurant, café or visit their music festival at the end of July. In the community of Tingsryd, a little over 20 km away, is Tingsryd, with Tingsryd Resort, which offers an adventure pool, spa, mini golf, fishing and much more when the spirit of an excursion strikes. Otherwise, the city of Växjö with its cafes, shopping and restaurants is only a little over 30km away.

Beautifully furnished cottage in scenic surroundings where you can enjoy the peace, the meadows, the lake and the forest. Here in Torsebo, you live perfectly for pleasant forest walks with only 700m to the lake. By the lake there is a pier where you can fish and outdoor furniture where you can sit down and enjoy. There are a number of day trips if you wish. You have 50km to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby. In Målilla moose park you can experience the moose up close. At Axelssons in Aby, you can pick strawberries and raspberries when the season permits. The house has two patios. One with a completely secluded location at the back where you have a magical view. Sometimes you can also see cows grazing outside. The front patio overlooks the yard. The interior of the house feels typically Swedish with inspiration from Carl Larsson's paintings and is very pleasant here. You have a large, beautiful living room with a sofa group. In the kitchen there is a dining area and most everything you might need. You sleep in a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and in an attic bedroom on the upper floor with two beds. Note that the bathroom is positioned as a passage room to get to the upper floor. The house is therefore perhaps best suited for a family. The owner of the house, who lives in the large house next door, is previously celebrated for his hospitality, his fine manners and his keen sense of space and tranquility. There are nice swimming spots in Virserum, Lillesjö near Mörlunda and Hesjön near Målilla. You are close to Dackestupet, where there are hiking trails, trail running, barbecue hut, viewpoint, swimming area and mountain bike tracks. Also don't miss More Kastell, the eight km long mighty gorge. It is 50 km to Oskarshamn, here there are nice bathing spots by the sea, restaurants and shopping. There are also day trips by boat to Öland. It is also close to the Kingdom of Glass. Virserum (10km) has a grocery store, art gallery, beautiful herb garden, café, playground and here you can go dressage cycling.

Stay in a charming and carefully renovated croft from the end of the 19th century, where rural idyll meets seaside tranquility. Here you live with a large patio and spacious garden, just 600 meters from the beautiful sea environment and beach meadows. The croft is efficiently planned with a nice living room that has a spacious sofa group, armchair, TV and fireplace (fireplace not allowed). On the lower floor there is a bedroom with two beds, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a cozy dining area, even if the dishes are done by hand. From the kitchen, a steep staircase leads up to the loft where there are four beds. The opening to the loft can be closed with a hatch, but keep an eye on children when it is open. In the hallway next to the living room there is a small work area with a door, perfect if you need a moment of privacy for reading or computer work. In the basement there is a pantry. The house has two entrances, the front of which is at ground level with only one low step. As a genuine croft, the house offers charming details and low doorposts, something to watch out for for taller guests. The garden has outdoor furniture and a barbecue, and from here you are close to both the sea and nature. A short walk takes you down to the place that the locals call “Källan”, the old spa town where you can enjoy the open view of Kalmarsund. From here you can follow the Möreleden path along the water to Ekenäs, about two kilometers away, with its picturesque buildings, guest harbor and fine bathing area with sandy beach, jetties, kiosk and artisan bakery (limited opening hours). At Ekenäs there is also a wood-fired sauna for rent, with a bathing jetty and barbecue area next to it. For the family, Vita Sand is a popular excursion, just half a mile away, with a shallow sandy beach, large bathing jetty, playground, trampolines, cable car, mini golf, street food and ice cream parlor. The area offers many walking trails and hiking trails, and in the fall there are plenty of mushrooms in the forests for the connoisseur. Nearby you will find the nature reserves of Värnanäs, Högasand and Ölands Alvar, which are a World Heritage Site. If you want to make day trips, Kalmar, Öland, Kristianopel, Karlskrona, the Kingdom of Glass and Blomlöfs fish smokehouse in Brömsebro are within easy reach. You are also close to several restaurants, including Stufvenäs Gästgiveri and Spa, Villa Famiglia (seasonal) with its Mediterranean-inspired menu and Möre golf course with its associated golf restaurant. There is room for up to six people, but the house is most comfortable for two to four. The bus stop is just a minute's walk away, making it easy to get to Kalmar or other excursion destinations. The nearby road (old E22) is used by both local and some through traffic, but significantly less than when it was a main road. A cozy cottage with history, sea breeze and proximity to both nature and experiences, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the Småland coastal life.
