Here is also the pool where you can cool off. There is a lovely glazed conservatory you can enjoy well into the evenings. Kalmar has a large range of culture, restaurants, events and shopping. Here is the beautiful Kalmar Castle that you must not miss. Also a day trip across the bridge to the island of sun and winds Öland is highly recommended. Good fishing can be found in Snärjebäcken's fishing waters 5.6 km away, where you can buy a fishing license to fish for rainbow salmon, roach, perch and pike. Also enjoy the wonderful nature, there are plenty of walking paths.

The house is probably from the end of the 19th century, but has been completely renovated on the inside 2023. The Farmhose is part of the main house, but you have your own garden. You have a fully equipped kitchen with open floor plan to the living room which has a sofa bed for two people. In the livingroom you also have a cozy and warming stove that can be lit on chilly and dark evenings. The Kalmarsundsleden, which goes right past the plot, leads you down to the sea with a lovely walking path close to the sea. You have a wonderful long shallow white sandy beach called Sjöhagen 1300m away. A real gem, also known as Lilla Böda, where you can swim more undisturbed. The house was built in 2021 and is in top condition. The roof is open up to the ridge, which gives the house a lovely spaciousness. The kitchen is neat and here you have most of what you might need. The living room is open with a dining area and a living area where the sofa can be made into a double bed. There is also an extra folding bed. Here you can enjoy curling up in fresh hotel sheets that are included in the rental. Towels are also included. Nice bathroom with wc, sink and shower. There is another swimming area in the cottage area with a sandy beach, jetties and swimming raft.You also have an inflatable kayak to explore the lake with. There is a smaller grocery store in Fagerhult 3.5 km away. There is also Välenbadet's campsite with a restaurant that offers simpler meals. There is a larger grocery store in Högsby. Down by the lake you can enjoy a cooling bath or why not take a relaxing ride with the small rowing boat that is included (own life jackets are provided, electric motor can be rented on site).
