Cozy rural accommodation in an old village with picturesque surroundings that give a real Bullerby feeling, the farm house/croft store dates from 1770. The cottage is very charming with the old style preserved while containing all the comforts and facilities. New bathroom in 2023 and a nice terrace next to the house. The cottage has a scenic garden and is surrounded by horses and chickens, there are also cats and dogs on the farm. Your four-legged friends are welcome as long as they are leashed. The owners live further up the farm and run several businesses, there is a farm shop with locally produced delicacies such as eggs, sausages, honey, jam etc. Sweets, ice cream and drinks for those who want that little something extra. The garden is well framed by your accommodation with its own balcony and social area, the chickens run below the house. By the balcony, there is a growing bench with spices, grounds, chilies, peppers, etc. Feel free to eat and pick directly. Just one kilometer away from the farm there is a nice bathing area Sävsjön with a rock pool and jetty, in the village and nearby area there is a market garden, leather stall and Mossebo farm shop & smoked game from sea and forest. Here, dinner can be planned with seafood, fish, venison and lots of fine meat. Holmtebo is a really good starting point for you to explore Östergötland and all the sights. Just a few kilometers to the sea and the coast at Fyrudden, there is a large marina, small grocery store and restaurant, and musical entertainment is organized there on various occasions during the summer. From Fyrudden you can also take tour boats out into the archipelago, for example Harstena and Häradsskär. If you want to experience more experiences, sights and shopping, you can go to Västervik 45 minutes away by car, best restaurants from fine dining to favorites for families with children. And of course the archipelago's best restaurants, with fresh, freshly caught fish from the Tjust archipelago. Take a trip with the archipelago boat, visit old lanes in the city's beautiful surroundings. Other recommended destinations or day trips are Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby, Loftahammar and many local experiences. Feel free to go to picturesque Söderköping where the Göta canal passes through the city. There is cultural history, shopping and restaurants along the canal. What a location! Just outside the coastal town of Valdemarsvik's center is this nice house with magnificent views of the Valdemarsfjord. Welcoming porch twig under roof. The house is on one floor with a loft furnished for a bedroom with two single beds. Downstairs has another charming bedroom with two single beds. Large living room in open plan with the kitchen. The kitchen area has all amenities including dishwasher. The living area has a combined corner sofa and dining table in rustic wood. There is also a nice wood stove if any day would feel a little chilly. Large flat screen TV with German channels. Fully tiled fresh bathroom with shower and washing machine. The living room / kitchen area has high ceilings up to the ridge which makes the room airy and large. The large bay window with glass sections provides nice light and views of the sea. The bay window also has direct access to the large (approx. 40 sqm) terrace, which will probably be a favorite place both on beautiful mornings and evenings. There is outdoor furniture, parasols and sea views. The house also includes a carport for secure parking of the car. About 30 m from the house on the best vantage point is the glazed gazebo that you have access to. See the whole nice fjord below with a lot of boat traffic during the summer. Perhaps the best of all is that here you also have access to the large (5x10 m) solar-heated pool which is open under the summer weeks. Everything very well maintained and in perfect condition. The house also has a slightly simpler bar / pub in a separate building that you can access. The house has shared plot and garden adjacent to the owner. All around it is relatively hilly and with some forest behind. To the popular hiking trail around Valdemarsviken it is only 50 m. Down to Valdemarsviks center with shops, restaurants, cafes, harbor and tourist info it is only about 300 m. The nearest municipal bathing place is Grännäs and it is about 2 km, here is a sandy beach, piers, lawns and play equipment, all very family-friendly. As day trips, it is certainly suitable to book boat trips out to the outermost sea band. The boats leave from the small coastal community Fyrudden and it is about 20 km. Close by, you can also rent kayaks, boats and Canadians to explore islands, cobs and skerries on your own. Nearby are also the picturesque towns of Västervik and Söderköping with many attractions and events during the summer. Both about 30-60 km away. Around Valdemarsvik there is magnificent nature with forests, many lakes and small nice communities and villages. A must for the slightly younger ones is probably a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby and it is about 80 km. Welcome to a nice house with wonderful sea views and pool!
