The cottage consists of a large room divided into a small kitchen area that has a coffee maker and refrigerator, a dining area, a small bedroom with a bunk bed and a living room with a sofa bed. Shower, toilet and kitchen are in a service building about 30 meters away. A slightly larger cabin, no. 57673 at Stugsommar, is some 600 meters away and can advantageously be rented together. Upon request and availability, rowing boat and canoe can be borrowed. Bicycles are available to borrow (sort based on availability) So take the opportunity to explore the area both at sea and on land. For fishing enthusiasts there is much to look forward to in Tingsryd municipality, here there are a number of beautiful lakes and waterways for fishing. One of the most famous fishing waters in the area is Lake Tiken, which is known for its rich stock of perch, zander, pike and whitefish. Åsnen is a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands and is Sweden's newest national park. This beautiful house is from the 1890s but was renovated as recently as 2013, but they have chosen to keep the feeling in the renovation and interior design. Here you have the red wooden house that brings to mind Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales. It is a large spacious house, with a large living room, spacious kitchen, new fresh bathroom and a bright, nice bedroom on the ground floor. Up the stairs, which is steep in its slope, you will find 2 more bedrooms, a large spacious one with a double bed, and a slightly smaller one with two single beds. The large family can easily fit here, and the lovely garden invites you to cozy meals just outside the house under the shade of the trees or on the balcony that is adjacent to the barn diagonally opposite. Boat and canoe, if rented, are at the house on a trailer and are taken down to the lake when in use. If you want to go on an adventure, for example, all the places to visit in the Kingdom of Glass are about 1 hour away by car, about 45 km away is Växjö with shopping, restaurants and cafes. The previously mentioned Åsnen national park has a lot to experience a little more in the immediate area. And 50km south you reach Karlshamn and the sea if you fancy a day at the beach.

This substantial two-story villa features a garden and patio where you can immediately enjoy the lake view and the proximity to Vättern’s sparkling waters. The house is a solid single-story villa with a basement and offers most of the comforts you need. As soon as you enter the house, there is a hallway with space to hang clothes and store shoes, adjacent to a bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet. The kitchen is spacious and fresh, equipped with most necessities, but dishwashing is done by hand. Next to the kitchen is a separate dining area with windows overlooking the small street in the residential area. A spacious living room with comfortable armchairs invites you to relax by the fireplace, and in an adjoining section, there is another seating area and dining area. From the living room, you can access the backyard with a patio facing the lake. Downstairs, there are additional social spaces with a recreation room that has a comfortable seating area and a lovely open fireplace to warm up a cooler evening.
