Welcome to this well-planned and newly renovated small cottage. It may be small in terms of square meters, but the floor plan, ceiling height and sleeping loft make it feel spacious and fresh. The cabin shares the plot with the owner, whose house is about 50 meters away from the cabin. There is a large plot of land to stay on. And behind the framhouse of which this cabin is a part, there is a large lawn which is also available. The Cottage consists of a large room which is living room and kitchen in one. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom. The sleeping places are divided into 2beds ina a sofa bed in the living room and two places in the beds in the sleeping loft. NOTE low ceiling, see picture. The sleeping loft is reached by a steep ladder. There is outdoor furniture and a barbecue available, as well as bicycles to borrow. The owners recommend a bike ride to a nearby swimming area, calledTorne bathing area, a little over 5 km away. There is also a swimming area closer, just over 2 km away. The location is perfect to experiencing all the best of Småland. Deep enchanted forests, shimmering lakes and streams, blooming meadows and open fields. Little red cottages, winding roads and beautiful stone walls. Just a couple of kilometers away you have Åsnen, which is a completely unique lake archipelago with over 1000 small islands.

Welcome to enjoy the holidays in a wonderful house, dating from the end of the 18th century. In the cozy house, there are beautiful old floors and timber walls that have been lovingly renovated and preserved. The house is modernly furnished with all the amenities you need for a hassle-free holiday. On the upper floor are the bedrooms and a TV room, on the ground floor are the living room, a large kitchen and bathroom. On the plot there is a guest cabin with a family bunk bed, bathroom and a small kitchen area. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the leafy grounds you have no direct view in summer, here there is a balcony, trampoline and swing, lawn and trees. In the area, there are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance and a kilometer's walk down to the nearest bathing spot. There are many bathing spots on Ekerö. There is much to discover here; take a trip to the first Stockholm; Birka, and see the excavations there, an exciting piece of history. If you want to get into Stockholm, the bus goes nearby, but if you want to see a little more, you can take a shuttle boat from Ekerö center into central Stockholm, a nice boat trip!

Just under 2 kilometers away, you have Lake Sövdesjön where you can swim and buy an ice cream from the small kiosk. It's an incredibly beautiful lake with a jetty and a small sandy beach! If you want to go on excursions throughout Österlen, this place is very conveniently located. You have the beach and outdoor swimming facilities down at Nybrostrand just a short drive away. You have Ystad, Simrishamn, Tomelilla if you want to shop, dine well, or just stroll around. There's a highly recommended café down here called "Olof Viktors". A few miles away, you have Ales Stenar, Kåseberga, and several lakes for swimming and fishing. You can even take the ferry from Ystad to the charming island of Bornholm. Sunne, which is located about 4 km to the south, has a good range of both attractions and stores as well as shopping. Mårbacka, Rottneros and Tossebergsklätten are well-known places that are close to you from the cabin. The cottage is located on a larger plot and is on one level with a nice patio equipped with a barbecue. Indoors, you have a good working kitchen and a common room where there is room for both a substantial dining area and a cozy sofa that converts into a comfortable bed for two people at night. If it's a chilly evening, it can be nice to light the wood stove, which spreads a lovely warmth. There are two separate bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a double bed and the smaller room has a bunk bed with a wider lower shelf. A bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet and a small washing machine complete your stay in the cabin. If you are a person who likes to swim, there is a good swimming area with a sandy beach down by Fryken, which is about 1300 meters from the cabin. In the municipality, there are no less than 1,000 lakes and plenty of hiking trails, so even the most active person can get their fill. Forest and land have a large population of wild animals, so don't be surprised if you happen to meet the king of the forest, the elk, when you're out hiking. Border shopping amuses some. The closest border trade to Norway is Charlottenberg approx. 70 km from Sunne via Arvika, where Arvika is also a nice community to stop at. The distance to the border trade Töcksfors/Årjäng is 110 km. If you are a guest in the area at the end of September, we can recommend the historic Årjäng market, one of Sweden's largest and oldest markets.
