To reach the lake, you walk safely through a viaduct under the railway. The cozy house was built in 1969 and renovated in 2000, combining classic Swedish summer cottage style with modern amenities. Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, a bright living room with a wood stove, and a bathroom with a washing machine – everything you need for a smooth and relaxing stay. The accommodation offers space for up to six guests with comfortable sleeping arrangements and a welcoming atmosphere – perfect for families or friends wanting to enjoy a peaceful holiday. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. On the terrace, you can relax with your morning coffee, have a barbecue in the evening, or simply enjoy the fresh air. Kil is perfectly located to explore the nature and culture of Värmland. Only 7 km away you’ll find shops, and within 20 km there are several restaurants offering both local and international cuisine. For the adventurous, the area offers hiking trails, canoeing opportunities, and rich wildlife. Welcome to a newly built cabin located in the heart of Värmland, where you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday. A large terrace surrounds the cabin, and includes access to a wood-fired sauna. Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen connected to a living room with a dining area, a few armchairs, and a TV. There are two separate bedroom, one with three single beds and the other with a 140 cm double bed and an overhead single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. Part of the terrace is enclosed with glass and furnished with a dining area. Down by the lake, there are plenty of seating options where you can enjoy your grilled dinner. The generous garden invites you to play and around the cottage there is both forest and meadows. Here you live with silence as a neighbor. Parking is easy right outside the cottage. The porch is perfect for a book on a rainy day, or for enjoying the evening sun. Once inside the cabin, you are greeted by an open floor plan, a large room with a spacious sofa bed, a kitchen table for two people and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove and more. If you need a freezer, there is one in the garage next to the cottage (talk to the nice house owners who live a stone's throw away). The bathroom consists of WC, shower and also a sauna with room for 4 people. If you wish more than 2 people to come, the cabin owners have a mattress that you can borrow at no extra cost. A shop and restaurant (Fagerås) are within driving distance of the cottage. The nearest village Kil is approximately 8 km away. Along the road 45 there is much to discover, for example Sunne Vattenland, Rottnerosparken and Grums Badhus. There are plenty of flea markets and exhibitions/museums as well as cafes in the area.
