Welcome to Dalarna! Here you’ll find peace and tranquility in the heart of Dalarna, overlooking Lake Gopen. You're just about 20 minutes from both Leksand and Falun, and around an hour from Mora and Orsa. The old log house is situated in a meadow and is part of a farm where the owner keeps cows that graze around the cabin during the summer months. A true countryside idyll. The log cabin has an open-plan layout, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a cozy sofa corner where a fireplace takes center stage. At night, the sofa can be converted into a comfortable bed for two people. There are two separate bedrooms with custom-built bunk beds—one room sleeps four, and the other sleeps two. The bathroom is modern and fresh, with a shower, toilet, sink, and a washing machine. Facing the lake is a covered terrace with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening tea. A couple of bicycles are available at the house for use and can take you to Sandvik bathing area with a nice child-friendly beach and jetty. Hasslö has a bridge connection to the mainland but also boat traffic directly to the world heritage city of Karlskrona which offers many attractions, shopping and restaurants. Sun and swimming are associated with this island which is also called little Hawaii. The Hasslö festival and the Karlskrona archipelago party during the summer months are both events that offer a festive atmosphere. The two-storey house has its main entrance from the wooden deck on the upper floor. At the entrance there is outdoor furniture to sit on and with a view of the entire garden. The spacious hall has an entrance to the toilet and two bedrooms with a double bed each. Kitchen with all the possibilities for self-catering and a dining table to gather around. There is a nice sandy beach with a playground and barbecue area. A glazed conservatory with the same view is nice to sit in if it is windy. The house has a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, a small living room with Smart TV and sofa, with the glazed conservatory is a lovely living room with sofas, dining table and chairs. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a family bunk bed. The bathroom is newly renovated and fully tiled, with a shower, toilet and washing machine. The house has an air heat pump for heating and cooling. On the plot there is also a small cottage with beds, but there is no water and toilet here. There is a barbecue area on the terrace and plenty of large tables for nice dinners in the summer. There are nice walking paths in the area and the bus to Södertälje stops 150 m from the house. From Södertälje, the commuter train goes into Stockholm when you want to experience the big city. In Södertälje there are plenty of shops and Tom Tits experiment which is an experience for both young and old.

With a large glazed terrace, there is also plenty of space to hang out on summer evenings and you have a large, lovely garden to spend the days in. Just over 1 km away you will find Lake Salen and there are three nice swimming spots to choose from, although the homeowner himself recommends the one at Blädinge church. The house has a spacious modern kitchen, large dining room, a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there are 2 more bedrooms with two beds each, as well as a toilet. In the basement there is a large laundry room. There is plenty of room here for a large family or perhaps two families traveling together. Just over 2 km away you will find Tyrolen, which has festivals, concerts and flea markets. 25 km away you will find Växjö with shopping, cafes and restaurants.

Golfers visit Sjögärde GK's 18-hole golf course, which is about 8 km away. The center of Frillesås is a charming small community with, among other things, a grocery store and a restaurant, you can get there with a short walk. Both to the south and north you can reach other fantastic sandy beaches if you so wish. A trip to Kungsbacka is a 25 km journey, Varberg is 27 km in the other direction and the city of Gothenburg is only 50 km away.
