To the south is the exciting summer town of Halmstad and to the north is Falkenberg. From the entrance you come to a combined living room and bedroom. Here there is a double bed, a sofa bed for two people and a TV without channels. There is free wifi, but the signal can sometimes be weak. The cottage has a kitchenette with a dining table. The bathroom has a shower. There is a screened patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. The private garden has several leafy small patios under a lush birch or a flowering bush, where you can move a chair or a bench. You are free to use the part of the plot that is on the guest cottage's side. The area is quiet and peaceful. The owner can visit the main cottage on certain occasions to supervise and maintain the garden. The villa area is located in a fantastically scenic location close to Stensjöstrand or the beach in Steninge. You cannot miss visiting Gösta's restaurant and café or Kuststationens café. A little further north you will find the small bathing bay Glassvik. Here there is a fantastically beautiful and unique nature and rich bird life. The small bathing beach is particularly suitable for families with children and those who want some peace and quiet. Just south is the community of Haverdal. Visit Särdals kvarn which has both a café and a shop. It is only a short drive to Halmstad. Here there is a wide range of entertainment with many restaurants, cafés and a wide range of shops, art and nature. Experience Tylösand's vibrant bathing and entertainment life. Hike on Prins Bertil's path from Halmstad Castle to Ricardo's ice cream café in Möllegård. For those interested in golf, there are a number of golf courses in the area. Torekov's picturesque harbour is lined with many small restaurants. Ferries run from the harbour to Halland's Väderö. Here you will find a magically beautiful nature reserve. Ängelholm offers an exciting mix of small specialty shops, exclusive boutiques and several large chains. Ängelholms Hembygdspark is an oasis for the whole family. The park houses a zoo, museum buildings and a playground for the younger ones. There are walking paths, rest areas and eating areas. For those interested in fishing, there is a varied sport fishing in Rönne å and Västersjön. A fishing license is required. The cottage is located on a plot next to another cottage we also rent out (9774). This cottage, with the character of a mini-villa, features a large wooden deck perfect for barbecue dinners and enjoying sunsets. Beautiful bushes and plants decorate the exterior. Youth groups are not permitted! The cottage has been continuously renovated to a high modern standard (completed in 2025) and is furnished with a high-comfort double bed, a spacious dining area in the winter-insulated conservatory, and a living room with a small wood-burning stove. The kitchen is situated between the living room and the conservatory and is both tasteful and practical. The bathroom is of high quality and also spacious! From the cottage, it only takes a few minutes by bike or foot to reach the illuminated trail in Sandskogen’s recreational area, or to the nearby Lödde River for fishing or canoeing. You can cycle the 5 kilometers down to Barsebäckshamn by the sea for a swim or a fish lunch at the local harbor restaurant. Here you’ll also find a lovely shallow sandy beach, grassy areas, and a swimming pier next to Barsebäck's camping area. Just a stone’s throw away is one of southern Sweden’s finest golf courses, Barsebäck Golf & Country Club, with its 36 holes. If you want to explore the surroundings in western Skåne, you can visit the long sand dunes of Bjärred and Lomma, perfect for beach days, or the cultural city of Lund and Malmö a few miles further south. To the north lies the Järavallen nature reserve with beautiful beech forests, sheep pastures, and excellent barbecue areas by the Saxtorp lakes. The old log house is situated in a meadow and is part of a farm where the owner keeps cows that graze around the cabin during the summer months. A true countryside idyll. The log cabin has an open-plan layout, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a cozy sofa corner where a fireplace takes center stage. At night, the sofa can be converted into a comfortable bed for two people. There are two separate bedrooms with custom-built bunk beds—one room sleeps four, and the other sleeps two. The bathroom is modern and fresh, with a shower, toilet, sink, and a washing machine. Facing the lake is a covered terrace with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening tea. The Hasslö festival and the Karlskrona archipelago party during the summer months are both events that offer a festive atmosphere. The two-storey house has its main entrance from the wooden deck on the upper floor. At the entrance there is outdoor furniture to sit on and with a view of the entire garden. The spacious hall has an entrance to the toilet and two bedrooms with a double bed each. Kitchen with all the possibilities for self-catering and a dining table to gather around.
