We had a lovely stay at Holiday Residence Rotondo, The surroundings were peaceful and green, ideal for relaxation, The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals, Just a short drive to beautiful beaches like Spiaggia di Ira!

In principle, the facility was clean and well-kept and the building fabric of the apartment was completely fine. However, with regard to the interior design, the organizer should make sure and check that, for example, drawers work and the furniture fits together. The plastic chairs with advertising were a bit unusual

The urbanization is good with a landscaped garden and a well-maintained swimming pool. It is good to mention the opening times in advance: from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. Also a swimming cap is mandatory and no toys! There is also wifi, but that is only available at the reception and not in the homes, this was not reported in advance. Receptionist is very friendly but useful to explain to people where they can dispose of waste, give a map of the town and some general information about what you can find where. As for the house, it is very simple and outdated. The beds and air conditioning were okay but the kitchen is poor and very small so you don't have a counter to prepare something and the fridge and washing machine are in the middle of the room with a sofa bed and dining table. Extractor hood does not work, no coffee machine, no kettle, the house should be suitable for people but only 2 wine glasses, no bowls, plastic plates. Nice location, but the house is in need of a major upgrade considering the price we paid for this.

The apartment, but also the entire complex, is in need of maintenance and is very outdated. The apartment filled with 'thrift store furniture' and quite dirty. We immediately complained to Belvilla and refused to use the apartment before the formal check-in time had expired. The manager confirmed the outdated and dirty condition of the apartment, commenting that the owner had not done anything to the apartment for years and was actually only interested in collecting rent. Belvilla (emergency service) could not give us a definitive answer as to whether we would get our money back (approx. €875 for a job), even though we had already refused the apartment upon entering. We then booked something else in the area via another platform (booking.com). No further information has been heard from Belvilla as to whether we will get our money back!!! Truly a scandalous situation that Belvilla is not done with yet. As a traveler you have every right to refuse an object if it is 'a mess'. Photos were taken of the apartment and the neglected park. A big disappointment considering we have been Belvilla customers for years and have always been very satisfied. How could this have happened?

The property owner wrote to us one day ahead that the appartment had a water damage and that the appartment was unusable. We are a bit puzzled that the property owner hasen't provided Belvilla with that feedback since we have booked and paid for an appartment that we could'nt gain access to.

A beautiful pool area is available for guests. Excursions to the offshore islands or to the famous Costa Smeralda are recommended. Note: Pool use is not permitted during the midday rest period.
