My husband and I traveled and holiday's Croatia with our dear friends this summer, Our stay in Dubrovnik landed us here at Villa Karmen and it was PERFECT! Our apartments were air conditioned, super clean, and we had newer appliances, You are only an 8 min Uber away from the city walls, and a 3 min walk to port if you want to hop on a boat taxi and head over to any of the islands :) Our main contact was Leo and he met us on our arrival and was super welcoming! He not only showed us around, he pointed us in the right direction, gave us all kinds of local recommendations! He even helped us with our laundry which we desperately needed done, Luckily the owner owns a laundry service, and he offered his services at no charge, We would definitely stay here again and recommend the Villa Karmen apartments to anyone :) We also fell in love with a restaurant down the street on the harbor front called Bon Appetite, A local gem! Don't miss that one either :) We ate there so much! thank you to everyone at Villa Karmen for making our much needed Holiday incredible and amazing!! You guys are the best!

This place was perfect- a short bus use away from the busy old town so it was a great location, The apartment is very modern and beautifully furnished, It had everything we needed and the kitchen was also well equipped, Our host was there to great us and was very friendly and helpful, We loved the balcony which had views over the port, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a short break to Dubrovnik,

A lady who hosted us at check-in 'Valonika' she was waiting for us at the accomodation even though we arrived earlier than general check-in time,
The room was superb because it kept clean and looked very new,The location was brilliant as well, We walked to the bus station for the old city with only 5 minutes and the bus station has ticket office,It's absolutely confotable for tourists,
WiFi connection was also very good and fast enough for mail and looking for something about Dubrovnik before going out,

We stayed in the Lavender room at Villa Karmen for one week in early June 2016, We loved the room which was spotlessly clean, spacious and peaceful, We had a lovely little private garden terrace with lovely lavender plants, Ideal location for visiting the Dubrovnik area, Local buses run regularly to the Old City but the walk is not long and fairly pleasant, Veronica was very helpful and provides very good support to guests ( if needed), The location is fine up a small hill from the seafront and is very easy to find just up the side street opposite the main port building, Would recommend staying and would definitely return,

The only thing that we regret is the location, too far to dubrovnick old city or the beaches of Lapad,
