Welcome, in case of problem the hosts are available by phone where they live 2 minutes by car. Everything is clean on arrival, the pool cleaned, the surroundings cut off. Nothing to say. Thank you

This holiday home is a gem if you're looking for a relaxing getaway, It offers all the essentials and more—ample space for our group, a well-equipped kitchen, and a charming garden, We appreciated the quiet location, which allowed us to disconnect and enjoy nature, Although we didn't use it much, the fireplace was a nice touch for cooler evenings, The proximity to attractions like the Sauveterre Musée de Préhistoire was a bonus, If you're hoping for a peaceful countryside retreat, this place ticks all the boxes

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house where you think you are in the 17th century. Arrival was well arranged. The key address was clearly indicated and easy to find with navigation. Too bad the manager spoke no other language than the French. This makes it a lot harder to understand each other well. A manager must at least speak English or German, we think. The pool was a wonderful addition to our week and here we have spent several hours every day. The swimming pool is cleaned almost daily. Next to the house is a road where not too much traffic comes along, but the traffic that drives there drives very fast. If you want to turn your car on the road, it is no superfluous luxury to put someone on the lookout. Wifi does not work, not in the house and not in the garden. In an earlier report we had read that the Wifi indoors would work well now. This was not the case. The 3 / 4G network via the telecom provider also left much to be desired. We had no connection at all regularly. We found this really annoying. Calling went fine. What we missed were screens in front of the windows to keep the mosquitoes and other unwanted insects out.

A beautiful house, in need of some updating, but the charm is real. The bathroom is modern and functions well, the kitchen is functional. We housed 6 adults happily, although there was a queue for the bathroom at times. The third bedroom is curtained off, which is awkward, but ok. We paid 60Euros for bedding which was odd and old and left at the end of each bed, we think they hosts could have made the beds at least. It is situated quite a way from anything, which is nice! I think it could benefit from some written information about the history of the house and the local area. The host spoke some English, again a write up on expectations would be easier to translate, the lady who came to take the 'cleaning' money was not the most pleasant, I understand the language barriers, but again get it written down so we can translate. We did not know what to do with the rubbish / recycling, although we had to pay the host 60euros for cleaning, we were told to take the bins to the nearest town! you will need dishwasher tablets and cleaning products as there was less than minimal in the house. We arrived with 6 guests and found half a loo roll, all this should be communicated before you arrive, as popping out after a long journey was not pleasant. Apart from these niggles, we loved it! the private pool was great and always kept clean, the area was private and the house had lots of character. So add on 120euros and expect to buy basic cleaning products.

The welcome was good, had a tour by the owner and there was not done difficult concerning the deposit, I had no cash with me. The house is beautiful on the outside, dated on the inside and smaller than expected (1 floor). The kitchen is very small but everything is there and works. The WiFi is worthless, it always falls away (if the fridge comes on, for example) and has poor coverage, the TV is small. The shower and the toilet (modern and tidy) are only accessible via the bedroom with the 2 single beds. This is very disturbing when people are sleeping, the only separation is a curtain that creates a sort of hallway. The beds are hard, but otherwise fine. Nice garden, good and large swimming pool. The location of the house is very nice with beautiful views of the surrounding fields. We have seen some wild animals, but don't be surprised if there are suddenly hunters around the house. The road past the house is not very quiet and sometimes people drive very fast. Furthermore, the area is beautiful and there is more than enough to see and do.

The location and freedom at the house are great. You really feel like you have gone back in time and the house is wonderfully cool inside. The table tennis table is also nice and cool. Swimming pool is very clean and maintained daily. The mother and husband of the owner are super friendly. What is really a shame is that the bathroom including toilet is in a bedroom, although it still has a door, but it cannot be locked and that some of the garden furniture was broken. Good to know that sometimes a shepherd from the farm comes behind. There is overdue maintenance in this accommodation.

Arrival was warm. The accommodation was fine, beds are good, wifi very poor, TV very small, kitchen looked like a thrift store ... of everything .... not complete. The house is in a beautiful location and in a beautiful setting. What we saw was a lot of overdue maintenance! Both inside and outside ... this house deserves more attention! Of the garden furniture some chairs were broken, the cushions were moldy ...

Pool is great but little to do in the area for teenagers. The house is really in dire need of renovation. Something is missing. Host is not always very responsive. Wonderful mattresses on the beds. Note: the ad says inc. Final cleaning, but as soon as you have booked, the price will be excl. to be.

The interior was outdated, not enough seating for 7 people in the living room, one bathroom is not enough for seven people, the washing machine was broken and was not repaired, the shower was so hung up his right ahead sprayed due to leakage. The garden cushions were covered in mold and there were only five chairs instead of 7. The wifi only was out of range where the lamp piece was also was not repaired. The baker and a small supermarket was 9 km away. The garden was beautifully kept and the pool room is delicious! It is very quiet. It is fenced and secured by an alarm. That made a lot of good.

House from 1620 (only partly visible). Very small (especially for family with 3 small children), or "voices". House was not clean. It houses apparently owls on the upper floor, which means "night caused a lot of noise (we suspect that there are also still reside in other animals ...). Large swimming pool and large garden in beautiful natural surroundings. Supermarket is far (40 minutes) . Value still somewhat expensive.

Large house, seen from the outside anyway. Is in urgent need of renovation! Is certainly not worth its price. The renovated barn next to this old farm is also rented out by the same owners at the same price of this outdated building. The renovated barn is worth the price. The old homestead not really. Nice area, nice and clean pool, spacious garden. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. The church owls in the attic with the necessary noise "at night you get for free!

We have a week enjoyed the tranquility of the Dordogne.Zalig views over the fields and the house is almost a small castle if you're in the garden staat.Enig disadvantage bakery is 7 km away and the house does cheat a bit in size since the 2nd floor was a walkover is.Maar for us had it amply large enough and have visits even of deer in the garden.

In a beautiful setting this house is partly of 1620! The garden is very big, lots of seating areas, the pool is stunning and is cleaned early every day. The house itself is old, but very charming. Open kitchen is small but complete, dishes over there, beds new and comfortable. TV small and not wore, the weather was so delicious that we could sit outside long. Internet worked fine. Owner very friendly.

We had a wonderful week in this house. Friendly welcome, peaceful setting, wonderful weather and beautiful views from the terrein.Dagelijks enjoy the private swimming pool and its surroundings are lovely villages. A little further away and you're in a place with big supermarkten.Ook you can walk pretty close to the house. We even middle of the day saw a deer. If there would be a problem if we had questions we could always call the owner. Excellent!

Magnificent Perigord house from 1620. The surrounding garden and private pool are also great. Environment where deer and foxes are still to spot in the wild, where the Dordogne as "20km distance flows quietly, its magnificent castles, ancient towns such as Sarlat, Rocamadour, Belvés, Villefranche. An oasis of calm but if you want entertainment remotely. Overall good place to be.

A fantastic house with all modern conveniences. Excellent beds and a lovely shower (both important during the holidays I think). The garden is beautifully maintained and the pool is great. As you sit you have to keep in mind in a very quiet area of the stream may fall times (two times occurred in 2 weeks for several hours). Friendly owners who you can call when something is going on (they only speak French).

In this beautiful house in the Dordogne we spent a week, the house exudes the atmosphere of the area and is kept authentic. Many amenities and directed p outdoors. The setting is fantastic and there is plenty to see and do, it is a home to return to go back.
