Beautiful location in a quiet village, ideal to do walks. The property and equipment of the kitchen were above our expectations. It is a spacious house with spacious rooms authentic. We even got wood from the owner to use the stove. The garden is fully enclosed, ideal for pets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for 10 people. On arrival there it was cozy warm and everything was as agreed. Really recommended!

A wonderful stay for our family weekend with 10 people. A rural, well-decorated garden with fantastic views of the hills with cows. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but for this price we are not going to complain about that. All in all highly recommended!

We stayed there with the family on the weekend from 21 to 23 June 2019. Because we did not know exactly in advance how many children and grandchildren would make the trip, we received permission from the owner to put up a tent in the large garden if necessary place. Given the nice weather we were usually in the garden where 2 large tables, benches, garden chairs and even a barbecue are available. The accommodation is correct and the kitchen is very complete. The area is beautiful. Unfortunately, we found the tourist information rather accidentally only upon departure in a slider of the coffee table. A good hiking map e.g. on the smartphone is definitely recommended. We only saw after a very large detour with even a short walk along the dangerous N4, that there is a direct but not indicated path to the Ourthe in the village itself. Finally, we point to the more than correct handling of our stay. One of the guests forgot a portfolio that was sent very quickly and securely. The deposit has since been refunded.

We had an amazing family getaway at the castle in Roumont! The kids loved the spacious garden where they could run around, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals together, A short drive to the lake was the perfect afternoon outing, Highly recommend for families!

The key was neatly prepared and the attractive house with beautiful courtyard was already wonderfully warm. Appropriate decor and completely furnished. The upper floor in particular is impressive with its long corridor. We were 9 adults and 1 baby. The area is beautiful: you can walk straight into the woods. The house also has a huge garden with beautiful views, especially in the summer that will be wonderful. So had a very nice weekend in La Hêtraie! Thanks beaucoup!

Nice location and a well appointed house. So close to a beautiful nature reserve where you can go hiking or mountain biking. We did not meet the owner, but we did have contact with her and is very sympathetic. Ideal for a quiet group as it is not detached. We will definitely go back!

We stayed for a week in this charming house, because of Corona we were only there with three (my husband, my five-year-old daughter and myself) but the cozy decor we also enjoyed it with our small family, On arrival we found everything neat and clean and the rooms were heated, We were sorry that we could not regulate the thermostat ourselves (it was locked at 19 degrees), but had brought enough wood for the stove in the living room, so we were warm enough in the evening The garden and the view are beautiful!And you can also take beautiful walks, close to home or after a short journey by car, We could enjoy a snowy landscape and made several trips for even more snow fun in Saint-Hubert, around Bastogne ,,,, Extra plus points for us were the excellent WiFi connection and the new gas stove with large oven,

Lovely large garden with great view. Spacious bedrooms with good beds (in 4 bedrooms), kitchen well equipped. With 8 people it is just a little more comfortable when it comes to sleeping and eating. If you do not have high demands on luxury and comfort, this is really a great house for a low price!

What a lovely place! The castle has everything you need for a comfortable stay, We had a few issues with the heating at first, but the host was quick to help, The kids had a blast playing in the garden, and we appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket just a short drive away

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting, centrally located for walks and excursions. Kitchen equipment such as glasses, bags, plates may be supplemented / renewed for ten people. Table to eat with 10 is also a bit tight.All in all ok for its price.Also a bit regrettable that we did not see or hear from the owners on arrival, departure and stay itself.
