After an e-mail we were able to arrive earlier due to the heat and were kindly welcomed. Very spacious, clean and beautiful house with a large swimming pool. The pool was maintained daily by the owner. Wonderfully quiet area, ideal for a holiday with children. There is 1 neighboring holiday home, but you hardly notice it. Great holiday!

It is a beautiful house, truly French. The decor is old-fashioned, for 6 people (adults the sanitary facilities are insufficient. The location of the house is perfect, the space around it wonderful.

An oasis of peace where it was almost surreal to have no neighbors and only encounter a human being after a 10-minute drive. The Belvilla was fully equipped and the private pool is so luxurious! Highly recommended!

Beautiful area with very nice walks that are fortunately excellently marked. The large house welcomes you as do the deer and rabbits, but thankfully the wild boars did not show themselves. We must not forget the welcoming French family where hard work is still a daily reality. We wish them all the best.

Lovely pool and kept clean every morning, nice veranda, but the rest of the amenities in the house, such as the kitchen and bathroom, are fairly reasonable; some parts are due for renewal.

We had a hard time finding it, and that with all the digital tools we have today. Finally arrived and there the reception was very friendly. Glad we got a tour of the house. It was very quiet around the house. There is still a holiday home next to it, but you will notice nothing more than a car that occasionally passes by. You really have to come for the rest, there is nothing in the area within walking distance. We have not been to the village of Besse itself, but Villefranche-du-Perigord is not very special either. There are quite a few fun things to do in the area by car. While walking the dog a lot of flies, mosquitoes and everything that flies around in a farmer's landscape. I had a nice run. The many height differences are a good training.The environment is beautiful. The house is nice. The people are nice. It's pure French. Have fun if you go there.

The house looks like the advertisement description. It was a detached house with private pool. The owner comes in every morning to keep the pool clean. It is a rustic house, in which the rooms have improved. The bathroom is quite old but it was fine and sufficient for us 4. For 7 it may prove somewhat more annoying to have a single bathroom. One of the rooms is outside the house although at the same height, that can go well if someone wants to have their privacy although not so practical if it is for small children alone. Then there is the choice of the two upstairs rooms which are very spacious. We did not have problems with the stairs since my daughters dominate them well, perhaps it can be more annoying if they have children of 1-2 years. The kitchen pretty well, they left us cloths, rag of kitchen and even scrub and some of soap without no cost but I found missing kitchen scissors. The kitchen communicates with the dining room but for those who are taller than 1.70cm watch your head because to move you can hit. They also had swings that immediately caught the attention of the girls but with the problem that was broken and dangerous, that is why it would have been better if they had not since we had to watch them not get up. Otherwise everything perfect. The owners were very nice although we had the difficulty of understanding the language. The ideal environment for walks and having intimacy and tranquility and very well located within walking distance you can find interesting villages to visit. We did some very nice routes with great scenery and the pool was very nice. Overall rating very good.

Lovely quiet setting, nice swimming pool, friendly welcome. Highly recommended! Good to know 1 bedroom is not accessible from inside the house, but via a separate entrance outside. Homeowners live nearby and clean the pool daily. They are therefore very well accessible due to questions / problems and extremely helpful!

Nice house, nice that it has a covered porch to sit on. Porch is just not gone wide and it is unfortunate that the vegetation blocking the view. The handrails could use some maintenance. Nice swimming pool, nice enclosed for children and with alarm. The sunbeds Unfortunately terrible to lie on and need to be replaced actually. The same is true for the garden furniture. Further, a lovely quiet place with nice walks. There is another holiday next but you did not make, no visual contact. Great kitchen and living room, the bedroom which can be reached from the front porch is large with its own sink. The disadvantage is that you must always pass outside the house to the toilet. Furthermore, be careful with the small doors, but if you mostly live outside as we got there less problems. We had a wonderful holiday. Pool was cleaned every day, even on Sundays!

The grounds and location are great, 9 minutes from Villefranche-du-Perigord. Price- quality is OK. The pool is wonderful. The house is very dated. With a (small) investment, this house would score much better.

Very quiet location. Everything you need is available. But very primitive. Everything very outdated but working. Swimming pool is not heated and was too cold for us to use. Dogs are allowed but absolutely no facilities for them. The garden is not fenced off, which is a problem for some dogs. You really need to speak French because the owners do not speak any other languages.

Swimming pool is maintained daily. Very simply furnished and very limited equipped. Through bedroom to next bedroom. Only 1 socket per room (in use for lamp). Certainly not enough for 7 people. Description is not correct, house is not on or near a forest. Totally missing value for money.

Check-in was good, we were too early at our destination, but arrived just look at the cottage. We wanted to leave again, but eigenaares insisted that we stayed (What kind). But the reception was to be dealt with quickly due to lack of time eigenaares. She had to clean other homes.

The house is very outdated compared to the photos. It is also not clear from the photos that you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other and that there is 1 bedroom outside the building.
Upon arrival, the hostess was very unfriendly towards our party. Because we are two young families with children, we were treated like toddlers ourselves.
The swimming pool is outdated but wonderful for us.

Recently, this property rented in Besse for a period of two weeks. Unfortunately after one week, decided to return home because of the heat inside. The location is fine if you like quiet and secluded. The photo 's are waarheidsgetrouw.Qua cleaning is the cry of the French battle in place. It is definitely not dirty but clean is different. We sat for a very warm period in this house and unfortunately came to discover that the inside at the end of the day almost as warm as the outside. Airing \/ cooling, however, is not because of the huge amount of animals around the house (salamanders, bats and other crawling and flying scenery). the property remains hot! "s evening sitting quietly outside, after the onset of dusk, only if you have no objection to the above dieren.Eigenlijk was in our opinion a reasonable teleurstelling.ps. Bring your own bedding.

Neat and clean house. The owner makes every day to clean the pool. The house is on a dead end road and is therefore very quiet. There is still a cottage next, but in the week we rented the house was not another holiday let. We had the whole road so ourselves. Grocery shopping can drive 10 minutes is in the town, but for real shopping half an hour. Note: take pillows with it, because they only have so 'n roll cushion.

Top cottage. Nice to go into the woods with the dogs, walking and cycling. Location is very peaceful and the pool would also assist in super. Owner very nice and helpful when needed. We are already looking forward to booking for next year!

We are in 2011 and 2012 have been in this property during the May holidays. Gorgeous house and surroundings. Fine welcome by the owners and every day the farmer came to clean the pool. During the holiday 2012, "the evening was slightly colder and the farmer on arrival was a large amount of firewood. Just on topic travel looking for a home in May 2013 and this house turned out to be the best for us so we also for May 2013 have made this house.
