The villa was outstanding, equipped with 8 bedrooms which are all ensuite and the owner ask us prior to arriving if we wanted double beds or two single beds in each room which was great as some rooms we required double and others just single.
The rooms were clean the beds were comfy, the fridges were stocked with water and there was a crate of beer and two bottles of wine left for us which was nice.
The surroundings were beautiful the sunshine was on the pool all day, the pool was heated, with a temperature control switch which we were also shown. All of the rooms had air conditioning and hot water which was great.
Some rooms had better mirrors and wardrobes and some even had an iron/ironing board. We walked into the centre of Peurto Banus which took around 20-30 minutes depending on pace but was a lovely walk through the surrounding neighbourhood and down the beach front.
There was a large supermarket round the corner which was very handy. There was also an Irish bar and other smaller Spanish bars within a 3 minute walk. A taxi into Peurto Banus was around 7 euros.
The only downfall we had was there was only 3 keys to get in an out of the property which was difficult with a group of 13 so we did have to wake up a few friends one night to get back in!
All in all an amazing place very spacious with individual privacy as well as being personal and all together privately away from a hotel atmosphere.

The main reason for our stay was my husbands 50th year birthday and when we arrived the house attendant who took care of us, had arranged a birthdaycake!! Wonderful surprise ) The house attendant - Santiago was always a sms away - what a service minded person! The accommodation was great and the best part of all was that every family had their own room with a bathroom. Could not have been better ) A large pool with sunbeads and a lot of space for play and fun time.

Wow wow wow! What an amazing find! I booked La Abadesa for my 30th birthday with my fiancé and all our friends! I trawled the Internet for ages trying to find somewhere suitable and La Abadesa sees the best price wise and location! If I'm completely honest the pictures of the interior didn't wow me.njr the pool area looked great so that sold it to me! On arrival we were all blown away the villa is completely stunning the private gates opened to reveal a beautiful villa with stunning grounds and a pool area that is the centre of it all with a BBQ area. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom.ans two of the rooms also come with a separate kitchen and living area that we didn't use but I can imagine would be great for a group of families travelling together! The kitchen was lovely and has everything you could possibly need with two bottles of wine and snacks to welcome us which was a lovely touch! The location of the villa was fantastic just out the villa and right at the end of the street we found a few bars and it was a short walk to the atm and supersol which had everything you could possibly need at very reasonable prices! Puerto banus was also only a 2 minute taxi ride around €7-10 euro. We had the most wonderful holiday and anyone who is considering booking la abadesa just do it you won't regret it we are already talking about our reunion trip!

Amazing villa set in a lovely quiet residential area close to the beach, local supermarket and a 2 min taxi ride to nearby Puerto Banus! Stayed here with a group of girlfriends and had the best time relaxing by the huge and stunning pool. The bedrooms are all lovely and spacious with their own en-suites which made the stay even more comfortable and everyone said they will all come back with their own families! Would definitely recommend the villa - its got so much space and great for groups, etc. Thank you to Santiago for making it so comfortable for us and we will be back soon!

Our group was 15 people and it was fantastic. This villa is stunning, it has all you need and more for an amazing weekend. The pool was fantastic and a lot of fun. The rooms are huge with en suites which is very handy for a group of our size. The local shops are more than enough for needs and we had a food delivery which helped.
We were welcome by Santiago, who was extremely helpful and very nice.
I would highly recommend this villa to anyone with a large group looking for an amazing and relaxing holiday.

We booked the villa for a hen party of 12. The place is huge, the pool is amazing. We loved it! Very clean. Santiago met us when we arrived to let us in and showed us around. Organisation was very easy. Would definitely use again. Brilliant place.

Because of two 40-year marriages, we went to La Abadesa with two families. We were warmly welcomed by Santiago who showed us around the villa. Also at other times during this week he was immediately available for a question from us. A very friendly man. La Abadesa is a beautiful and quiet house, although in the middle of a residential area. You do not notice anything of that. The rooms are fine and the kitchen very complete. We enjoyed the pool and the environment. Nice places visited, a week is short! Overall a fantastic holiday!

Es war unser dritter Urlaub in La Abadesa und er war - who those others are - super! That Ankunft war wie nach Hause bowls - einfach nur herrlich.Das Anwesen und dieetten Zimmer (alle mit eigenem Bad!) Haben so fell Charme der der Pole is dirty, and is a spielezimmer mit Tischtennis, Billard und Jede Brettspiele. Those congregations Essen auf der überdachten Terrasse directly for voll ausgestatteten Küche - einfach nur traumhaft.Man wohnt ruhig und trotzdem zentral genug. Fußläufig gibt es einen gutsortierten Supermarket, Souvenirläden und gute Esslokale. The road to the promenade in a square with others and in 40 minutes is a man with a ride in Spaziergang am Meer entlang directly in Puerto Banus.Auch der Kontakt mit Demieter und the Housekeeper is totally uncompleted and super net.Es war bestimmt nicht unser letztes Mal in La Abadesa!

Arrived at 22:00 in the evening at the location. Were surprised by the spacious layout and absolute condition of the building. We quickly found our way, partly by the help of the house manager. We could not really see the area at the time see a lot.

The Villa Abadesa is a wonderful place to spend a week with children and children, like us. The rooms are large and comfortable with air con, the pool is large and grassed and a safe enclosure for small children. Moreover, the little ones can play in the garden in which the complex is located and last but not least, the games room.

We loved the accommodation and the owners and Santiago ( caretaker) could not have been any more helpful. Villa had everything we needed for a large group including children. Lovely to come be in walking distance of shops, beach, cafes, bus stop etc. Feel a couple of the outside areas need a little tidy up but the pool and seating area was perfect, plenty of shade if you wanted it. We would definitely go back to this property.

Very spacious accommodation with many bedrooms, bathrooms, good beds, large pool.The villa is located in a nice quiet residential area, all walled, safe. Large games room with pool billiard and various games, television. Outdoor playground, BBQ. Great for trips to, for example, Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella (old town) .The pebble beach is nearby. Shortly recommended, and repeatable.

The surroundings are nice, with great restaurants, within walking distance of the beach with cozy spots. You can do your shopping on foot from the house. Beautiful area, rent a car and you can visit many lovely villages. The house is nice but outdated in terms of maintenance. Bedroom doors couldn't be closed properly, and the doors were difficult to open or close. It wasn't really clean; we first had to wash the dishes, cups, and cutlery by hand. There was a lot of dust as well. The bathrooms, on the other hand, were very clean. A wonderfully large pool where we even swam in mid-April. There was too little kitchen linen available. It's really nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Beds were nicely made upon arrival according to the wishes indicated in advance. I would definitely go back with a large group.

Had an amazing stay at this villa in May 2016, easily accommodated a group of 17. It's in a perfect location with a supermarket nearby and close to Puerto Banus by a short taxi ride.
Santiago, the key holder, was really helpful and was on hand throughout our stay for anything we needed. When our flight was delayed he took in our supermarket delivery and provided us with welcome drinks which was a really nice touch. The villa owner, Reiner, was always really quick to respond to any questions by email that we had leading up to our stay.
Overall the villa was really clean and well presented, plenty of outdoor seating areas and the pool was fantastic. We all were so impressed with La Abadesa, we couldn't have hoped for a better place to enjoy our trip to Marbella and are already planning our next trip back here!

We were a party of 15 on a golfing trip and the villa was perfect, easy access to everything and very peaceful. The property had everything you could need including a great pool and lovely areas to relax.
The owners and staff were brilliant and very helpful with questions and kept us up to date with anything going on.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
