Environment was perfect.Close to the beach and boulevaard. In the area plenty to do and see.1 critical point. There would be wifi and there was not in the house. For wifi we had to sit in front of the door of the house of the landlords.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Jean and Martine, the owners. This cordiality we have experienced the whole holiday they gave tips on nice trips, we got fruit and vegetables from their own garden and were always in for a chat. The gite is located in the back of the large garden and offers a lot of privacy. The site is closed with a gate and another door (which you get a key during your stay) which we have experienced as very pleasant because our son (5) could play freely and above all safely. Jean and Martine live on the boulevard, in the middle of the center. You cross the street and you are standing on the beach. Every morning fresh baguette at the bakery, a laundry and supermarket around the corner, very centrally located all. You can park your car in the public car park opposite the house of Jean and Martine (no charge). The gite is spacious enough for three people. Because the bedroom was a bit damp, we slept in the living room with its three people. There is an Ikea bed / sofa bed (2 persons) and a small sofa bed. The bathroom is continuously ventilated by means of a ventilation system. This is audible, especially at night. The WiFi works only when you are as close as possible to the house of Jean and Martine. In the gite itself there is no WiFi.Luc-sur-mer is centrally located to many attractions. Within 45 minutes you will be in the center of Bayeux and within half an hour in Caen.In Port-en-Bessin Huppain you can find beautiful large scallops on the beach, a walhalla for shell lovers and there are many museums within an hour We are satisfied with our stay in La Lutaine!

We were very kindly received very lovely people. We found ourselves less well, not just French, and then a bad image, and no decent chair where you can sit well. The setting is beautiful.

Particularly nice and service oriented owners, Jean and Martine. Cottage stands at the end of the garden, where privacy is assured. Very complete (kitchen and home) device. Excellent base and great private secluded garden. Access through the gate (key) that opens to the sea directly on the boulevard. Luc sur Mer is a charming town, and is part of a long series of coastal towns. All invasion beaches to drive well. Many objects worth seeing. Near Rue de la Mer with some shops and Carrefour. We missed the good weather, but this was more than offset by the gite, Martine and Jean and the surrounding area. Particularly tasty Galettes at Brasserie Mini Golf on the beach. Good food at Le Temps With the Rue de la Mer. Nice strolls, stayed two weeks in this cottage.

A very nice holiday cottage on the seafront. Opportunities for water sports, cycling on a bike path along the sea. (10km). The impressive sights of D-Day are not far away and the town of Bayeux. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. In short, highly recommended.

Together with my wife and son (10mnths) we held a week's holiday here and it was successful! It is a cottage in the large backyard of the owners, through a fence and hedge there is enough privacy. The beach is across the street. Supermarket, bakery, some shops and cafes are within walking distance, though it is quite limited (Luc sur Mer is quite small). Advantage of the house is the beautiful location in Normandy near the beach, and the swing in the backyard where we were allowed to use. The disadvantage is that there is only one bedroom, which is not ideal in our household.

This holiday is we really enjoyed. On our arrival we were met by the housekeeper. On the table stood a flower and a box of cookies. In the refrigerator a bottle of cider, a pot of homemade jellies and as they say in the West Flanders' best Beuter.

We had a great week in La Lutaine. The cottage is a little on the small side but fine to do with 3 people. Only cross the boulevard and you're on the beach! In good weather is ideal. The owners were very nice, made for bikes and even came once with fresh eggs. Worth to go again!

La Lutaine is a wonderful cottage. 100% privacy. The gate and you're on the boulevard, delicious! In the house itself, you have a load of sounds that a boulevard entails. The owners are very nice and helpful. Communicating in English is reasonable. What is a disadvantage to a holiday in Normandy are many toll gates where you go through. In total, you'll be waiting! 9 times short or long

We had a very nice holiday in Luc-Sur-Mer. The cottage was ideal for a family with one or two small children. The owners were super! Very friendly and they always had good tips. We were received with local and also for our youngest was all present bed, chair, box ... In the village there is a large and beautiful playground, the beach is also very close. By car, most attractions within easy reach. Ideal! We would immediately go back there on vacation!

We had a wonderful week partly due to the weather. The proximity to the sea is also fine. The owners are very welcoming and we were surprised with local products. The landing beaches are also very worthwhile, as Bayeux Cabourg and what we have visited.

In fine weather, the beach is wonderfully close and quiet beaches are plentiful. It is also a good starting point for various excursions, including to the landing beaches but also cities like Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur to visit. The immediate surroundings of the cottage is a bit boring in terms of nature and therefore less suitable for walking, of course, beach walks.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cottage and the owners. The house looked much better on the inside than on the photo 's on Belvilla. Clean, tidy, not too big but fine to do for a family with two small children. The kids slept in the room with us but there is also a sofa bed available. We got an extra cot and highchair. Super service! On our first day we were welcomed with a bottle of cider and did the hostess comprehensive report on what is near all do. Our stay was co by the owners, Martine and Jean, very pleasant. What a warm and friendly people! There was enough privacy, the backyard of the cottages adjacent to the garden of the owners but there is a fence between the rest of the holiday we have not seen them. The setting is beautiful, the house is right on the sea and next to the D-Day beaches and Honfleur. Mont St. Michel is just over an hour away. All in all had a nice holiday in La Lutaine !

A mid-week stayed in this cottage that is located in the back garden, but with just enough privacy. Very friendly owners who did everything to make us. Stay as pleasant as possible Cottage is equipped for 2 persons, all basic comfort is present. Street and you're on the beach. Good base for visiting the landing beaches, Caen / Bayeux or inland (Suisse Normande). Luc-sur-mer itself is a small beach village with so few restaurants within walking distance if you do not want to cook yourself.

Simple, modernized holiday home just 100 meters from the beach. Through a secured access gate, you can directly reach the boulevard of Luc Sur Mer. The home is located on the owner's property. In the garden and on your terrace, you will enjoy complete privacy.
This house is of course ideal to spend long days at the beach, where the children can build beautiful sandcastles and play in the water. You just need to cross the street and you're there. Just a few meters from the house you can try one of the nice outdoor cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. There are also shops within walking distance from the house. You can also visit the City of Caen (17 km) and the City of Bayeux (30 km).
Cars can be parked in the guarded public car park (free) across the holiday home. In the well-furnished garden, you can start the day with a morning coffee. The children’s bed and a high chair are available on request.
