Small but very complete apartment. Nice shower, lovely bed. Lots of privacy. Warm hostess. Bayeux is a nice medieval town with many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Really recommended. Especially when he wants to visit the invasion beaches.

We were welcomed by a lady, who settled matters on behalf of the alleged owner and unfortunately "only" spoke French. Nevertheless, the state of affairs was also okay. It is an ideal apartment for two people, where almost everything can be found in terms of supply level that one would wish. It is there only be damp, which turned on an electric air extractor day and night. This makes a noise, but is not disturbing. There is to find peace, while staying right in Bayeux. The site has its own parking and is completed with a remote controlled gate.

No one was present at the arrival to open the gate. Even though we had communicated more than an hour in advance what time we would be there. Had to drive four extra laps through the city before someone came to let us into the gate. Cottage was very very small and smelled musty and was very humid. Ventilation did not help. There would also be bath linen. Yes 1 bath towel, 1 small towel and 1 guest towel per person for a whole week. Ridiculous. We had to call several times so that we had Wi-Fi. But have to pay. Furthermore, a ridiculous price for cleaning costs. 60euro for 2 rooms of 4 by 3.5 meters. Stayed cold and humid and the loft. The area was beautiful and everything easily accessible. Also the road to the beaches etc. Fine and short. As far as we are concerned, this accommodation is a major Miss of Belvilla. We do not recommend people with respiratory problems to book this. The only thing we noticed was that it was clean. Furthermore there were black specks on the cushions of the moisture.

This lodging is very small. The kitchen is so small that it is almost impossible to cook in it. It is also very dark and damp, with a constant, 24 hour, extractor fan in operation to keep the air circulating. The toilet is situated in the bedroom, again very narrow and there is insufficient space in the bathroom to be able to open the shower door without opening the bathroom door. Compulsory cleaning charge, compulsory hire of bed linen and towels and electricity charges added 100euros to the cost at the end of the stay. We were disappointed with this accommodation.

The location was brilliant, a few minutes walk from the town centre but lovely and quiet. The place is very small indeed with very steep stairs and the world's smallest loo. If you are from the UK, the TV is only French, and there is no oven.

We were met by Caroline who was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in a great location, up a drive off the main street in Bayeux and very quiet. We were disappointed with the kitchen area which was tiny. As we love cooking we were looking forward to buying fresh seafood and vegetables from the local market at ghe top of the street but there were only 2 electric rings and no oven. There was also nowhere to prepare food. There was however an electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. There was also a table-top dishwasher. The bedroom was small although the king size bed was very comfortable. One problem was that we kept scraping our legs on the bed drawer handles which were quite sharp but I remedied this by hanging towels to cover by tucking them under the mattress. The shower was good with lots of hot water. Good location for Normandy landing beaches and Bayeux tapestry.

We have three more nights (only) and have slept on in the area and the coastal strip between Mont St Michel and Ouistreham viewed. Luckily we had good weather, but "k see me not stay with rain. I will recommend anyone
