Everything in the cottage was great. And there was a great view of the Abbey. There was also not much noise outside, only the occasional ringing of church bells. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Good communication with the landlord, who was easily approachable and helpful throughout the week. Beautiful house that is fully equipped. Within walking distance of the village center, in the region is also e.e.a. experience.

House is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The town of Jedburgh is lovely with plenty of walks and sights to visit in the town itself and the surrounding area has beautiful scenery and an abundance of places to explore.

Booked a cottage for the 2nd time here. Located on the edge of the village. Supermarket nearby. Lidl and large supermarket at 20 min drive. Many possibilities. Historically, beautiful villages. This time we visited the eastern coastline. Bamburgh (castle), St Abb "s Head, With boat around the Farnlan Islands is a must, you can almost touch the seals and penguins The beautiful Northumberland with coasts All within an hour's drive Jedburgh is a cozy town with ruins of abbey and prison.Love to experience for 1 week.Home was fine, 1 minus is the bad Wifi connection

Wonderful base for the border area. In Jedburgh itself is a beautiful abbey, a prison museum and the house where Mary Queen of Scots lived for a month. In Tweedham (10 minutes' drive) you park your car for free at the station and board the train to Edinburgh. And of course there are many beautiful castles and country houses in the area. A little further away are Alnwick Castle and Gragside; both more than beautiful. So much to do. The house itself is simple, but it meets and is located in a beautiful spot.

The Cottage was well decorated and cozy and schoon.Helaas lay down the street open for werkzaamheden.Zodoende we could not with the car there, and had to park up and walk a long way down the Cottage.Onze friend (75 years is not good walker) was very moeilijk.Wel had the homeowner a mail sent just before the afvaart.Zijn many orphans drive to Eden Burgh \/ Glasgow \/ and the kust.De worth and the landscape is beautiful and worth waard.Als you're not a good walker I advise you this is not aan.Maar otherwise fine and a nice view from the house.

Cottage is centrally located for southern Scotland and northern England. Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily accessible. In the village are 2 supermarkets with long opening hours 7 days a week. Several restaurants and many takeaway. There are various opportunities for mountain biking and hiking at various levels. Very hospitable owners and the cottage is a lot of information about all the possibilities. Edinburgh zoo is a must, great zoo. Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond to cycle for a taste of the highlands. We traveled with 2 young children which was plenty to do. Cottage is higher on a hill, so not suitable for people with mobility problems within 2 steps.

We have spent a nice week in Jedburgh. We had the pink Cheviot Cottage, it was big enough for three of us and certainly warm enough. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the beds were nice opgemaakt. We were warmly received by ms Milward. From the parking lot to the cottage was a steep walk, so for someone who has limited mobility is not convenient. The weather was with us, we also had rain but 1.5 days. and a reasonable amount of sun. We went to the coast to the Sea Bird Centre in North Berwick, unfortunately, too much wind for a boat, but the cliff walk done in the sunshine at St Abbs Head. We have been to Loch Lomond and Loch Katharine, but a long drive but worth it. Unfortunately, not rented a bike at Loch Katherine, but that is definitely recommended. We have been to Edinburgh and its castle, near Edinburgh took a bus to the city center from the P + R to 3.5 pounds per person, you can travel all day with the Lothian bus. Been to Alnwick Castle on a rainy day, beautiful castle, but Harry Potter is hard to find. And we have a beautiful walk created by Grey Mare 's Tail up to Loch Skene, but the first part though steep. House in Jedburg is nice and central drive in the perimeter of 1, 2 or 3 hours is plenty to do. House itself looked good and cozy out but you should be fine with walking up to it to be able to do. Steep slope and steps well The owners are very friendly and helpful. Bamburgh Castle was nice (outdoor games for children) and Alnwick Castle (where part of Harry Potter is included) was also nice, unfortunately were there within no pictures "are s made. In Jedburgh itself is much take-a-way food get (chinese, indian, kebabs, fish & chips) and a fairly extensive supermarket so we could cook. Restaurant The Pheasant is itself also visited a must. Edinburgh with his sundayroast (camera obscura was fun, optical illusions) and the double a round made. driven by the lake district Trossaachs, adventurous road and beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the food on the P & AMPO ferry on the way back (Dover-Calais) very disappointing and this was very expensive. This was a big disappointment at the end of our holiday. Furthermore great holiday!!

We spent a week in this house. It is very well furnished and equipped. The lie in the village's fine. Anywhere close to, but completely calm. In the immediate vicinity walked a lot. Information on different walks was present in the house. Edinburgh and day and day went to the coast. These distances were doing good. Highly recommended!

Lovely holiday cottage is really super. Pity WiFi was not accessible in the cottage (on terrace) and with 2 teenagers ........... There was not much for them to do when we were in the house, even in the village. But with the four of us we have great fun though!

For the first time, a house that was selected in a doprje, and that was good. Running errands and you can 'evening somewhere which can eat right away without having to pack the car is very nice, but we did not feel to sit. In a busy area, the houses are what afterwards and there is a lot of green around. Friendly and helpful owner. Could earlier in the cottage because our boat at 9 am "morning arrived. Beautiful area for walking and cycling. And we were also extremely good weather so we spent two days. Beachfront at Coldinghambay In short, a very nice and relaxing holiday!

The superbly equipped and beautifully situated holiday houses provide ample opportunity to relax completely to komen.Alles is there what you need. It is very quiet. The beds are fantastic, we slept like a baby! The owner lives on site and is easily accessible. Problems Furthermore, it allows guests to completely alone. There is a lot of privacy. The cottages where we stayed all layers separately with enough space to house heen.Jedburgh is very centrally located to many interesting places and sights to visit. Jedburgh itself is eg the old prison, the old monastery (ruins) and the home of Mary Queen of Schotland. In the area is easily accessible by car: Floors castle (gorgeous!), Alnwick castle (Harry Potter! ), Edinburgh (worth a visit), Scott 's view (beautiful view) etc.Wandelen in near Jedburgh is very possible. At the VVV (Tourist Information) is a book for sale (2 Pounds) with various walks of different length. The walks are doing well and carry through small country roads and pastures. Wonderful! We left with melancholy Jedburgh. On the boat we started immediately a return visit for next year plan in mind. we go

We stayed a week in Jedburgh. A nice village that can serve well as a base for trips to all corners: Edinburgh in the north, the beautiful east coast at St Abbs, Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall in the south and the Upper Hills in the west. The reception was most friendly and the cottage is relatively new, clean and for 2-3 persons is ideal. Four is a little cramped. The cottage is fully equipped, except for the TV remote. All in all a nice introduction to Scotland. R & H
