Very cozy house located on a small lovely square. Cottage is old but charming. The rest of the neighborhood is fairly new and therefore a bit more uncomfortable in terms of appearance. The owners are incredibly friendly and cooperative. They have given the house a personal touch, which really appealed to us. It was also very clean in the house. Those who love silence and "real" are in the right place here. Only downside; the mosquitoes. As a result, we were unable to throw all windows and doors to the heat in the evening or in the morning. People from the square didn't seem to be bothered by the way. Nice beaches within driving distance; cala de Mora, Cala fonda and also Vilanova I G. has a great beach.

We had read when booking that the photo "s house not honor well did it right it's a wonderful house with real character and great guest lord and lady in a quiet village near villa franka what opzig's been a nice place. Barcelona fine rideable by train and the beach is pretty close. one tip if you really want to have a vacation without screaming tourists but only between the Spaniards want to sit.

The old, well-equipped house is very cozy and there was plenty of room for our four children. We were often, and therefore the absence of a garden less of a problem. Moreover, there is always the square in front of the door. The rooftop terrace is also a way but it can be very hot worden.Met the train to Barcelona to do good and to drive to the beach can be easy. The huisigenaren are great. We were very hospitable and when one of our family ended up in the hospital, we have a lot of support from them.

The reviews from previous guests were not exaggerated. Really a very nice, authentic holiday home in a quiet village. From here easy visits to bring to Barcelona, u200bu200bbeaches, every morning fresh bread Bakker outside the village. The host and hostess are always open for questions. Clean towels, sheets etc. are present. They would still have our crops but with a washing machine in the house we have just done it. The pictures on the website can sometimes be adjusted. They give hardly reflect how the house actually is ... Much bigger than the picture "s, spacious bathrooms, cozy rooms. Overall we have a wonderful stay. Hint: visit also the human towers (Castellars) in Vila Franca, they train every Wednesday evening. Well take a table reservation .. .

Spacious and cozy house in oldest part of the village ideal location for Sitges (resort) and Barcelona.Barcelona within an hour by train from the station in the nearby La Granada. Costs for day return is 36.50 euros for 5 people (3 children 12). Villafranca is also possible, but you can use the car less kwijt.De hospitable owners will do anything to you to make sense and make you aware of major attractions. (like the castel lars, human towers) It was a village festival experience with fireworks, water fight and music, the only downside I can think of (really the only) is the lack of and pool at the house.

It was a holiday to remember! The house that smells like the distant past with well chosen furniture, real Spanish / Catalaans.Na dinner, sitting on a bench on Placa Major, gave us the idea to have found the real Spain. Lovely to look at the people who live around the square and in the afternoon came together to chat. An old couple that daily several times to the square walk on the advice of the doctor. The village is very mild. In the area there are plenty of wineries to visit. Plenty of restaurants in the radius of 4 km. The beach of Vila Nova il Getru is a must, wide beach, plenty of parking, many (fish) restaurants. Finally, Josep and Maria, the owners / managers, who made a great impression on us; friendly, cordial and hulpvaardig.De last night of the holiday we were invited to dine with them. This was also the beginning of La Fiesta Major that is held every year in the village. That night was intended for young people with a very good orchestra / band that played to 07, 00 hours in the morning. Great location with ditto verhuurders.Wij (family with 2 children) were there with our lucky because during our stay the "Fieste Major" plaatsvond.Dit's annual village festival of 4 days and we were able to go through with the owner and his family. Many vineyards in the area and delicious restaurants.Gaan definitely return to this special place and people

If you drive you get a bit of the jitters, because the heart of a new village is only a very small old town square. To this is the house .. happy! House itself is above expectations. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Truly a wonderful home! Location is great base for visiting beach, Barcelona, u200bu200bwineries and other bezeinswaardigheden. Homeowners are very nice and helpful. Very welcoming. We had a fantastic week at El Raco had!

We (a family with 3 small children) enjoyed a very nice week in El Raco. Very nice and authentic apartment, much nicer and more spacious than on the website. It is also a great base: near Barcelona (easily reached by train from Villafranca), near the beach and near the most beautiful vineyards and estates in the region. The friendly host pleased to help you (or in Spanish), including a bottle of chilled cava.

We met up with friends from the US and they were bowled over by how nice and typical Spainish the house was. You need to mind your head when you arrive on the stairs up to the top floor as the roof is low at a couple of points. Plenty to do in the area around the village but parking in Vilafranca is a nightmere. If you are going into Barcelona, don't even think of taking the car the train is excellent and so cheap, 5 people for 22.85 euro return! Landlord of the property was a very nice guy and made sure that we were comformable during our stay, couldn't have wished for better.

Very well maintained home! Owners are very friendly and make you feel to be with them at home. We were even invited to eat with them and got on arrival and departure a bottle of Cava gift one small minus: the balcony with garden furniture is a bit too small for six people.

Beautiful location (from 1659) in historic dorpskern.Zeer spacious layout where one immediately thuisvoelt.Beheerder (speaks English) has done its best to make the building to breathe. Atmosphere of yesteryear Nice antique furniture and knickknacks, high ceilings and beautiful tile floors in terracotta.Ideaal for people who do not want to risk during the holidays run their neighbors ontmoeten.Het paradise for lovers of wine and other alcoholic drinks; Bodega 's wineries abound. The Penedes is a very large wine-growing area because of the height a wide variety of quality wines and cava 's favorite wine is geproduceerd.Onze: Duc de Foix Rosado, a lovely fresh rose with a full flavor, which is available everywhere in the neighborhood. Restaurant "Masia Aran" is 2 km away recommended for fans of the original Catalan keuken.Wel gum or Tic-Tac carry because of the garlic! Overall a must.

For the first time, not one of the Costa 's on vacation but here in El Raco ". We were pleasantly surprised by the space and decor of the apartment. It was beautiful as the picture "s. Even during the days with bad weather was pleasant to stay in the apartment. Sitges With 20 minutes away, it was a perfect combination of relaxation and beach. For lovers of the real Spain, this apartment a must.

Been 1/14 August 2004 family. Exceptionally friendly managers / owners. House is really well equipped. In our holiday there was a village festival, the "Festa Mayor Pacs del Penedes." A fairly large hapening including games for kids and vuurwerk.In village weing to no tourists. The area is uberhaupt not very touristy. Fine beaches nearby (20 km), Barcelona (40 km) and Tarragona (50 km) excellent bereisbaar.Wij were invited by the owner (lives downstairs) and had dinner there. The region is known for z 's wines and "Cava" (kind of champagne) and in the interior there are nice trails and charming villages. Few people (except the owner) speak another language outside Spaans.De owners certainly have them tried to create a nice atmosphere in the house and that was successful. Unaffected by many others rust.Kleine supermarket about 1 km. larger place and thus fully equipped about 4 km.
