An unforgettable holiday with the crickets in the background as a soundtrack. Beautiful villa where we stayed in the cool gÃ®te. Primer arrangement of the house with spacious kitchen, some lower bedroom, nice terrace, ideal swimming pool, and all surrounded by lots of greenery and shade, almost a park ... for repeatability!

Very nice country house, spacious and beautiful garden, well cared for and spacious swimming pool. Located in the neighborhood of a charming and quiet village. Excellent opportunities for cyclists who also like to climb. The owner is very cordial and concerned about the wishes of his guests meet.

We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it to anyone. The hostess is Dutch and very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The location is ideal for trips to Provence to Nimes, Pont du Gard, Orange, Mont Ventoux, Les Beau the Provences also the neighboring towns (Grignan, Nyons and others) and castles are worth a visit and there are plenty of good restaurants where you can eat affordable.

Warm welcome by host. Committed and gives tips, but is not pushy. House has bicycles to borrow to get to the nearby supermarkets (if you would like). There is a private playing field for badminton, volleyball and football. There is also a jeu de boules court. Due to the high temperatures during our stay, we did not get any further than the swimming pool. It is well maintained and provides enough cooling. The residence is surrounded by a spacious garden, so you can stay separated from the other guests. Parking facilities are sufficient. The house has a space that is rented out. The other room is located above this accommodation. If those tenants are a bit noisy, you will hear them in this residence. In this case, this was eventually taken into account by the other guests, who may not even have been aware of this at first. In short: a good stay in an area that has a lot to offer!

Good facilities, the WIFI and the internet could be better zijn.Min point are the (upstairs) neighbors who are already very active between 7 and half past eight and the wooden floor lets all the noise through, so sleeping in is not in it.

We have had a wonderful holiday in ValrÃ©as. The cottage is fully equipped and fully equipped the private outdoor terrace is fantastic, what a lovely place to have breakfast! Also the environment is very beautiful very green with the olive trees and the vines, despite the heat of this summer. A trip to RÃ©muzat, Vaison-la-Romaine, Mont Ventoux, MontÃ©limar and Orange is easy to do. A visit to the market in Nyons is also recommended. And the lavender parade of ValrÃ©as on our last evening was a very nice ending.

The welcome was warm. The accommodation was cleaned very thoroughly. The environment is beautiful and well cared for. Lovely pool. Bikes could be used, making it easy to go to the bakery or town. The holiday home is tastefully decorated.

Tip from the houseowner

Just outside ValrÃ©as village, in the middle of the Rhone Valley and surrounded by vast vineyards, lies, a beautiful Maison de MaÃ®tre. The house in Art Deco style from the twenties offers a gite where you can enjoy some rest. In this part of the Provence the sun shines an amazing 300 days a year and the large garden with pool offers various possibilities for spending all day outside. If you feel like getting active after a day of lazing out in the sun, you can throw a ball on the boules track at the side of Villa. The region is perfect for walks and bike rides. You have several mountain bikes at your disposal that can be used for wonderful cycling trips, for instance, across the Mont Ventoux. There is a nine hole golf course nearby for golf lovers. ValrÃ©as lies 50 km to the northeast of Avignon. Nyons (12 km), Vaison la Romaine, Avignon and Orange are well worth a visit. The sun, the lavender fields and vineyards, the delicious ProvenÃ§al food and the atmospheric markets in the surrounding villages are the ingredients of a fantastic holiday.
