We very much enjoyed staying at this place. The nice wood stove and sauna was very welcome when it snowed. A beautiful location. Smooth check-in and communication with contact person. The address mentioned in the ticket will not bring you exactly at the hut. You need to take another road to reach the hut by car.

The environment is simply beautiful. And the accommodation is uniquely situated with a view of the moors. In the mornings, the squirrels pick up the nuts on the terrace and on arrival the hostess welcomed us with two delicious bottles of Ciney and was extremely friendly and helpful.We felt right at home and could have some cozy evenings at the stove. The nights were dark and quiet and ideal to completely immerse in complete peace.The accommodation is very practical and nicely furnished and provides all the comfort one needs after a walk.In addition, everything was very tidy!

What a nice, clean and quiet secluded house. Wonderfully surrounded by nature. Friendly owner who gives you your privacy. Saw raccoon, deer, squirrels and various bird species while we sat on the beautiful veranda. Delicious! Not 5 stars because the mattress on the bed was much too hard for us, making it difficult to sleep. Very nice shower. House really very clean and lovely surroundings with beautiful views from the veranda.

Truly perfect accommodation! In the photos it may seem a bit old-fashioned and dark, but this is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet and a beautiful environment. The residence is brand new, but really spotless and fully equipped for 1 or 2 people. The hostess is very friendly and takes the time to tell you what you need. Many times seen deer, stone martens, squirrels, etc. pass by from the terrace. This hardly gives any nuisance.In the neighborhood you will find many hiking opportunities and the brewery is also highly recommended for a drink and snack.Al in all an absolute must!

For those who, like us, love silence, simplicity and nature, this is a TOP house, the ideal location to get away from the busy, hectic life. Although you are not even far from the "civilized world", it often gives that feeling. Especially the view takes care of that. A summary of what we all saw from the Cabane 2 roe deer in the middle of the night, hungry black- and crested tits, at least 3 squirrels that came to eat a pita / nut every day, a jay, a bird of prey and, big surprise at 4 o'clock in the morning, a raccoon in the feeding house !! If you can be quiet, have patience and look good there is so much to see. We were also lucky to have a few days of snow fun, in January on that location is no exception of course.In spite of the winter weather, or should I say thanks, we still have a few nice walks maken.van opportunities therefor no shortage.De Cabane itself is simple but complete and very gezellig.At arrival we already knew that we would be good sit that week, a very friendly reception by the hostess, the heating already on, a mood lamp that already burns, a jar of home-made honey, dinner tips for or "home", ... We will definitely go back!

Very neat and welcoming. Nice house which is cozy. Beautiful setting for the hikers. We enjoyed the wabdroutes at Robertville and Malmedy. High Fens also worth a visit.

The ideal place to unwind. The hectic life is quickly forgotten. Especially the beautiful environment, in the middle of nature is healing. In the morning wake up with a squirrel that appears on your terrace, 3 deer that appear ... An idyllic place to make beautiful walks. The chalet is rustic, not luxurious but everything is there. The stove makes the difference. The (difficult) walk around the Albertville castle with a beautiful waterfall is highly recommended. Visit Monschau (just across the German border) very cozy! The price is not a minute but the surroundings are doing well.

We were able to enjoy this wonderful cabin for a whole week. The wood stove provided warmth and coziness.
But above all, the view was breathtaking. You didn't even have to leave the house to experience nature.
There are many well-signposted hiking and cycling trails in the beautiful surroundings. In short: definitely worth repeating.

We were once again able to take advantage of this magnificent place, so close to the captivating nature of the Hautes Fagnes, where silence is interspersed with daydreams formulated in a low voice, in the hope of encountering animal life so close to who knows how to respect it. The fire in the purring stove of this cozy resting nest, welcome to relax after these magnificent walks in a nature so precious to be still respected. Friendly reception. The cottage is small but nice. More beautiful than on the pictures, because terrace and bathroom are recently renewed .The area is particularly beautiful, views over a peat area where roe deer walk, many birds and squirrels that come neighborhoods.Make many beautiful walks in the area.
