Friendly reception, authentic (not modern), spacious house with beautiful pool. Avoid the driveway (narrow and rocky) past the house and park the car along the quiet road, there is room for this. We enjoyed the privacy of the backyard / pool, and can make beautiful trips in the area (Lucca, Pisa). There is a fine restaurant a few minutes walk away, and a large supermarket at 20 minutes by car.

Beautiful single typical Tuscan house located at about 20 km from Lucca. From here you can visit the main attractions in the area. The house is simply furnished and equipped with basic accommodation. The garden with swimming pool is beautiful and is south-oriented. The restaurant located near the house is certainly worthwhile, affordable and delicious.

Pretty original Tuscan house. The pool is very clean and a good cool in hot summers, definitely the highlight of the house. The house is also perfect if you have a dog. The environment is great to relax and to take trips. You can explore the small village, there are a few restaurants nearby, which are cheap and delicious, as there are almost no tourists. (Accordingly almost nobody speaks English). We visited the Red Cinque Terre, Florence and Pisa and drove one day to the beach. Very nice, relaxing family holiday with dog. The only drawback was the beds. These are too short and very hard for normal-big people. The two single beds are rather suitable only for children, as also very narrow.

What started as a nice relaxing holiday was abruptly disrupted in the middle of our stay by a burglary in our holiday home. After a trip to Riomaggiore, we came home in the evening and found the front door had been kicked in. The thieves made off with our iPads, a laptop and some jewelry. All in all a loss of around 2500 euros. After a visit from the police, the owner made sure that the door was repaired the same evening, but unfortunately we didn't really feel comfortable for the rest of our holiday when we took a trip. When it turned out that Belvilla also left us completely out in the cold and could do nothing further for us, the holiday fun was over for us. This should certainly not discourage people from booking here, because the pool and the surroundings are beautiful, the nearby restaurant is very tasty and the many nice cities in the area make it definitely worth it. Just know that you will be in a very remote village and try to take as few valuables as possible with you such as electronics and jewelry and certainly do not leave any money in the house.

A lovely place, a great house. That, combined with a spacious garden behind the house, inviting pool and two weeks of fantastic weather, has stood for us for an unforgettable holiday. A good base for visits to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siene vela and other places. With questions we could always go to Paola. In short, a must!

We had a nice quiet vacation in this house is nice that you have a private pool, but the downside is that you can within just past the front of the house and you have to be careful that you are not yourself buitensluit.Inderdaad nice restaurant just 100m from the house and very goedkoop.De kitchen is poorly equipped but little pots, pans, bowls ... if you cook yourself. Few cookware .Groot drawback is the driveway that is far too narrow and you always have to careful that you do not drive your car protruding stones ... The house is equipped for 4 people, but there are only 2 loungers on the pool, which caused a squabble over again with the children ... The washing machine was handy so we could wash the towels from the pool so they were back fresh.

Great time 2 weeks. The pool is very nice, remember that before you post still gets a hefty electricity bill. Beautiful surroundings and a few hundred meters great and not expensive Italian restaurant. Definitely a must.

We have had a great week in Paola.Het holiday cottage offers comfort and surroundings are prachtig.Helaas we had really bothered by mosquitoes which we still could not zitten.Gelukkig we in the cities that we visited had outside despite the weather not suffer from the muggen.De pizzeria that is within a 10 minute walk away, is a must! The food is delicious and there is an extensive menu card, also the service is very good.

The location between the hills is fantastic. Lovely greenery and close to a restaurant with a bar where we ate delicious and not expensive. Also looked at football and made friends with the family owners. A very nice swimming pool and everything available. Since it has been raining or the banks were quite damp and humid in the house. Well here everything was open with each other and no problem during the real summer. We as Italy goers have already seen a lot. For us, including Lucca Florence and Pisa were already known, but with the summer festival in Lucca and our visit to Fiesole, the Medici villa 's and Cinque Terre was a wonderful week with also and space of the house. Close to nature and enjoyed of fireflies and magnificent birds of prey. Yeah, electricity is expensive in Italy, so keep this a little note, or the pool pump should always run? Well, make that for you yourself, so all outdoor lighting. Moreover as a tip, choose For the longer road to Lucca if you do not have much experience driving on narrow mountain roads. We had a really good holiday and would recommend this house really take it.

Great house in Tuscan hills not far from Lucca. The house is for 4 people and privacy offering spacious garden with pool is really great! Our children aged 6 and 8 had a good time. There is a 2-minute walk a fine restaurant. On the side of the house across the road there is a source. The local will fill their bottles with water. The house itself is basic. Know that you are in a hamlet. Rest seekers come here get their money, the entertainment seekers will be disappointed.

Pool but high extra cost! Very high electricity or gas costs!! € 174.00 for a week, an absurdity!!! Alternative not to use fire as deduction is very poor and thus the smoke throughout the house spreads and that was unbearable!

A week in Tuscany Belvilla equipped in our culture after a week in Florence and Lucca. Very nice house with pool. Just around the corner a perfect Italian restaurant, and a fifteen minute drive further is a good supermarket (Borgo A Mozanno, Penny supermarket at large roundabout turn left and then immediately right, drive up parking). The house is a great place to relax, read , play games and swimming.

Fantastic authentic house. Meanwhile, Central Heating. The fact that there is a washing machine is very pleasant. Everything clean back. Nice pool. Nice mountain roads, sometimes very narrow! Large shop in minutes driving. Pizzaria in the village is very good (closed on Tuesdays). Half hour drive from the sea. The owner is friendly and speaks limited English. You may Vanalles use of the garage (eg gambling articles for the pool). 6:30 The sun disappears behind the mountains. Average daytime temperatures during our stay 31 degrees to 34 degrees. If you are not afraid of the narrow mountain roads, please have the road past the house that does not lead to Convalle but on the other side of the house is located. You'll come across a fantastic restaurant overlooking the valley.

Nice location very quiet. Cottage is what outdated in decor and plumbing. The only toilet is located on the 1st floor. In the village is a restaurant that is open and almost always at a low price OFFERS delicious Italian specialties, a must! Location is good for trips, supermarkets and big city (lucca) at about 15/20 min drive. A major disadvantage: we got (as very low-energy people) a huge amount for electricity (over 100, -) in a week. According to the owner, this is the (very clean) pool.

The contrast with the house and the pool and garden is huge. The garden and pool are very modern and well maintained, the cottage, however, is very old and provides little comfort. The biggest downside is that the garden is not accessible from the house. You should always past the front door to go (which is located behind the house) into the garden. No evidence if you have a little one that sleeps inside. The house is also very difficult to reach by car, the car to the house itself is very poor. The pool is kept clean with a pump, which consumes a lot of electricity zeeeeeeer (130? For 1 week with 2 adults and a baby!). All in all it was a disappointment, fortunately it is an excellent base to explore the region. Further
