We have just returned from a weeks holiday in La Porte Rouge. It is a very nice spacious maintained house. Beautiful modern kitchen (with lots of kitchen equipment) with large table. Cozy living room with a television with Dutch channels. 3 large bedrooms with clean bedding. New bathroom with walk-in shower. A covered terrace upstairs (handy for when the weather is less, so you can still sit outside) and downstairs a beautiful terrace with sun all day long. By 7 pm the sun is gone behind the mountain. I would not recommend it for people who have difficulty walking, because from the car to the house it is a bit uphill and before the entrance of the house you have to go up a stone staircase. There is a fan in each bedroom, but on hot days it was very hot in the bedroom, especially on the upper floor. We really enjoyed the holiday home and would definitely recommend it! There was also a bottle of wine and a bag of candy (for our 4-year-old son) as a welcome. Very sympathetic!

We went there with high expectations, but in reality, it's even more beautiful than expected! Truly a vacation feeling! It's great that there is also a toilet and shower downstairs by the pool. The screens for the windows are also very nice, with all those mosquitoes around.

We had a very pleasant vacation, and that's putting it mildly. Everything you could possibly need during your stay is available, it's very clean, and there was a nice welcome gift upon arrival. We had beautiful weather all week, so we spent most of our time outside. The terrace is simply perfect, the magnificent old fig tree, the lovely garden lounge, the necessary sunbeds by the pool, the plancha and utility room, and I haven't even mentioned the fantastic view yet! You can also take beautiful walks directly from the house into the stunning nature. Just top-notch and for us one of the better vacation homes we've rented in recent years. Hopefully, it stays this way because we would definitely love to return to this beautiful region.

Despite booking via belvilla, many things have to be done with the nice helpful owner. Arrival is arranged by Belvilla very differently, but the village is in Mw Gounon and it is arranged.Jammer of this miscommunication with Belvilla.huisje can use many superlatives , But one jumps outfit.view, equipment, location etc etc. We have a great time and recommend it to everyone. (And yes the way is "exciting" but you get a lot of money back.

What a lovely house!
We had a very nice week with our family in the beautiful holiday home in the Ardèche.
Very nice house, fully equipped. Spacious kitchen, spacious living room that we have hardly used, only been outside, neat bedrooms. One floor below a wonderfully spacious terrace with luxurious garden furniture overlooking the private swimming pool, a lower house with an extra kitchen unit, an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ plate, another toilet/shower, everything is really right about this house.
Plenty to do in the area, nice restaurants within a fifteen minute drive, beautiful bike rides on the Dolce Via, ziplining and climbing on the river where you can also make beautiful canoe trips.
Good contact with the Dutch landlords and fast service if something does not work or is broken.
Highly recommended!

Potverdikkie, we were here for the 2nd time now. Last time experienced 1 minus on our holiday and that was that 2 weeks was too short. We thought what to do about that. The solution was just 3 weeks! Come on, we would solve that minus. Unfortunately, 3 weeks still feels like a downside, the longer you are here the longer you want to stay What a piece of paradise The bathroom has become incredibly beautiful Top done A real holiday home where you feel at home Admiration for the owners that they want to share this piece of happiness with others.Thank you! What a fantastic holiday home in a breathtakingly beautiful place. Here you will find yourself at ease. The wifi is excellent and there is Dutch television. There is even a bread maker, so you do not have to get bread every day.

La Porte Rouge is at the top of a very windy road and it's not easy to get your luggage into the house but once in you are in, you are in a little piece of heaven. The house is lovely, beautifully equiped and views to die for. The fig tree on the patio is full of white figs which are delicious. The pool is fabulous.

Fantastic holiday! Nice hideaway to fully unwind and relax in the nice pool. This is not heated though, so that's getting used to at first. Water temperature no higher than 26 ° while still days of 34 ° have had. Cottage is very fully equipped. The road to it is very steep and winding. But you do end up in a little piece of paradise.

We enjoyed the beautiful house, but especially from the spacious terrace with incredible views. Furthermore really thought of everything in this house you could possibly need during your vacation. The decor, especially the kitchen, exceeded all expectations. The luxurious interior of the terrace with wooden furniture and lovely cushions was a pleasant surprise. And the beds are fine. A house advisable for people who love tranquility, good food, views, walking and keep cycling. Only minus is that the manager what seems lazy in the maintenance of the pool. There are occasionally made chemicals in the pool, but there are no measured values and the pool is in the two weeks we were not cleaned in the meantime.
