Very nice wooden house in the middle of the village, everything was clean, the equipment was sufficient, unfortunately there was no possibility to store clothes for guests who slept in the open sleeping area, bakers and butchers only a few minutes' walk away,

We were received nicely, and the accommodation looked neat and tidy. The area was beautiful. Wonderfully quiet in the village, and within walking distance of the forest. A fifteen minute walk away is a place where you can light a fire. To do or be able to do something, you have to get in the car. Everything is a bit further away.

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin in Dankerode! The balcony views were absolutely stunning, perfect for morning coffee, The kids loved the swing set and sandpit in the shared garden, and we appreciated the proximity to hiking trails, The local restaurant just a short walk away was a nice bonus, Overall, a cozy and comfortable stay for our family

Very nice full wooden house, made by the owner himself. Not supermodern in interior, but certainly enough luxury and comfort, in a style that fits the house. Adequate lighting available and comfortable beds. The house looks clean and well maintained and had sufficient inventory. Because the house is of wood, there are no large fluctuations in temperature. Staircase upstairs can be difficult for the elderly, but downstairs is also a nice double bedroom. What is not is Dutch television channels and that is a bit different given the fact that the channel offer covers a substantial part of the western hemisphere. Internet is not fast and you need to find the right place (s) in the house or out for good reception. For the bigger cities you should go for a good drive, and you'll be on your way through paved roads and relatively little car. You can not pay at all times, at least sometimes in smaller places or in some restaurants. In general, the cities are less modern than in West Germany and you see a bit more decay. The homeowner and wife are very friendly and helpful, a very good couple.

Cozy cottage. Nice to sit outside on the porch and balcony. From village enough, sometimes spicy but nice, hiking (for lakes). You're so in the woods! Nice villages / towns to visit in max. Drive three minutes. Beautiful views from the Rosstrappe in Thale.

We found that you could do in the nearby nice walks. There were also within an hours drive to make nice trips. The house we felt totally fine. Also about the landlords, fine. Actually we just all good to very good.

The cottage in Dankerode worked fine for our needs. The location is right in the village and the bakery and restaurants are just around the corner. The owners were welcoming and cordial. We have no negatives to find on a tip after. The internet is very slow. Since you can not really with it.

Beautiful log cabin and friendly owners without having walked mainly on your zitten.Wij lip and wonderful places frequented by historic half-timbered houses. The nearby Stolberg is one of the favorites. For the holidays we had recommended in mind.

When you enter the house you can smell a dennenbos.Huis looks very nice, everything was very clean, we were two people so upstairs we have not used, beds downstairs were fine, only if you need a firm pillow accustomed that you bring your own, I'm fine just need a couple times fold. Everything needed was there. Administrators were very friendly and helpful. The village is quiet, two restaurants with affordable prices and good food within 100 meters. the bakery with fresh bread every morning also 100 meters afstand.Erg much to see in the area, leaflets and brochures with trips were in the house .overall a very enjoyable holiday

Good accommodation. Too bad the heat pump was failing, but the owner provided us with an electric stove and snapped back on. In the immediate vicinity two restaurants that were not necessary cooking partly by the price count itself. Open 6 days and 22:00 8 kilometers away a large supermarket. The holiday was OK if you dont mind the feeling of being watched. The house lies in the middle of a small village.
One day a total stranger knocked on the door and asked us if we wanted a tour in his prairewagon.He was a nice old man and we had seen him in his village before so we said yes.
During the trip he stopped in the middle of a forest and suddenly exclaimed : "Then threre is the matter of the money" and we had to give him 72 euro ;.( So much for local hospitality
After that we didnt look the locals in the eyes and we went home a day earlier than planned.
The nature around us was perfect.

The house seems a bit freer than it actually does, but it is a charming house that is spacious inside.
