We spent 10 days in the wonderful water mill (not in the agriturismo). As nature lovers with dogs, we were enchanted from the first moment. A little paradise, cared for with love. You can see and feel how Ombretta and her family, with a lot of respect for nature and love, make this place something very special. Thank you also for the valuable recommendations and especially the warm heart!!!Date of stay: June 2022

Words cannot describe well the feeling of spending three nights in an old renovated mill surrounded by nature and adjacent to a natural waterfall where you can swim. You feel immersed in an oasis of tranquility and lightness. The owners are very kind and always available!

We spent ten wonderful nights in this special accommodation. The direct access to the waterfall was a real highlight – an experience that you won't forget quickly. The spacious property offers many lovingly designed areas to relax: a Hollywood swing, a hammock, a bench in the greenery, and even a barbecue area. This allowed us to discover new favorite spots time and again. We also really liked the house itself. It is rustic in style and exudes a special charm – those who like this style will feel very comfortable here. For our children, it was somewhat dark in places, but that is simply part of the character of the house. The hostess was incredibly warm and always reachable via WhatsApp. She immediately helped us with all our questions and surprised us with small treats, like fresh eggs from the farm and homegrown zucchinis – a beautiful gesture. The location was also very convenient: the nearest supermarket was quickly accessible, and there is even a small kiosk at the parking lot above where you can buy good wine, among other things. Since the path to the accommodation is a bit steep, we left our car there – but it is easily manageable on foot, even with groceries. A small note: the door to the garden gate should always be kept closed. Overall, it was a beautiful vacation, full of peace, nature, and warmth. Thank you for this special time – we can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation!

We really enjoyed our short week off at Ombrettas mill! We got to really relax and detox in pure nature with this amazing location. Ombretta is an amazing and sweet host! She even helped us bring up and down all of our luggage because I was a little bit too scared and tired to drive nown the driveway. Also everything you could possibly need is in the little house. Also amazing stay for dogs, they can run and play and swim as much as they want and nor be bothered by constant people flow, you are really unplugged and at peace here!

This vacation was wonderful in all respects. The property, the garden with waterfall, the super-friendly owner, the beautiful scenery of the south of Le Marche, the beautiful old city with lots of culture, but also the overwhelming nature of the national park Monti Sibilini.

What a beautiful part of Italy, the Marche, all the way through this beautiful old water mill in an idyllic spot. Own waterfall, swimming pool, various terraces, always sun or shade. Mostly received by the owner. Mountains, old towns, beach, all within an hour. Only downside we found the shower.

The house and the garden are exactly like in the pictures. We received a friendly and courteous welcome from Ombretta. Great tips on activities in the area included 😊 The waterfall is fantastic. Well frequented, but not disturbing. The visitors of the waterfall were very friendly! The noise was very soothing. We have completely recovered! Thank you Ombretta for providing this gem 😎 Thomas and Andrea with Lina ðŸ•

One of the most romantic places to be found in Le Marce. Beautifully restored watermill in which all details have been preserved. Completely off grid, no internet, no TV and, if you're lucky, a connection on your mobile phone. Beds are spartan hard, and as a precaution we brought a few camping chairs ourselves to sit comfortably. The owner is a very friendly lady who is no trouble too much. Direct contact on arrival and within 5 minutes on site to give text and explanation about the mill and the surrounding grounds with lots of love. Even brought a bottle of wine. During our stay we received tips by app a number of times about activities in the area. A wonderful stay, we will definitely go back.

Hyggelig og rostikt hus. Haven er 100% lukket perfekt for gæster med hund. Selvfølgelig lækkert med vandfald lige op til haven. Rigtig dejlig ferie hvor man kommer helt ned i gear.

We were warmly welcomed by the hostess who also spoke fluent English. She gave us a lot of tips for trips and went with us to explore the house, the garden and of course the waterfall. The house was small but had a lot of charm. Because of the great garden we did not disturb the small scale. Two small minuses were the basic tools (pots, pans, cutlery) in the kitchen and the bathroom. But you will forget all this again soon if you are in the garden and at the waterfall. These two aspects give you a heavenly feeling! Ideal for people who like to stay in nature!

Location is fantastic and especially nice with dogs. Everything is fenced, including the access to the river and waterfall
The house is fine but basic. If you have bad weather, no sofa or comfortable chairs.
Showering is best under the waterfall because there is little pressure.
In terms of cooking utensils, it is minimal and we missed sunbeds outside
Despite the negatives, we thought this place was worth repeating, truly unique!

What a heavenly place! On arrival we received an extensive tour of the English speaking owner. Very nice woman who brought fresh vegetables from her garden and on the first day offered us a fridge with supplies for breakfast. She also gave us lots of tips about places to visit in the area (right beach, walks, winegrowers, castles, caves, events in Ascoli Piceno and where to park etc.). After half an hour we were used to the sound of the waterfall. In bed it sounds like it is raining outside gently. The garden is beautiful and there is always a shade spot. Also in August. The waterfall is accessible to tourists and Italians via a path behind the garden. In August Italians like to use the waterfall and swimming pond. It is suitable for children because it has many shallow parts. Take water shoes for the rocks and boulders in and around the water. The water is wonderfully refreshing. Completely natural beauty. The medieval mill is simply furnished. There is no washing machine, dishwasher, television, oven and freezer. The thick walls keep the house nice and cool. You live in it and with nature. Take a mosquito net with you in August. You can eat from the fruit trees. It is wonderful to unwind here.

Very friendly landlord. The house was as described, but...... The waterfall behind the house is advertised as a public swimming pool in Italy, so there can be no question of peace. Countless people made a pilgrimage to the waterfall every day and stayed there all day. Groups of children to teenagers who turned up the music loudly. There can hardly be any talk of peace. Furthermore, the way from the main road down to the property and house is just hell. Impossible with a sports car. We had a Ford bus, that was crazy too.

We had a very warm welcome from the owner. Extremely friendly. We have been in early September. When the sun came out it was only at 11.00 at the cottage and was off again at 17:00. As a result, we were able to sit outside much. The house was dark and cold and dusty. Too bad because the picture "s looked very attractive.

During the (too) hot summer, we were sheltered among the trees, with always the possibility to take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the waterfall (a very beautiful piece of nature, just 5 meters away from the private property). The owner was always available and was able to tell us what were the best places in the area to visit. We had a lovely time! Very nice area, good food and friendly people.

The location of the property is unique. A waterfall in your backyard where you can swim is rare. The garden surrounding the mill is private and will not be visited by other visitors to the waterfall. Nearby are villages and towns. The distance to the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini (mountains) or to the beach is about three minutes away. The property itself is simply decorated, but a great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mill at the foot of the waterfall. A special place with many authentic elements in the mill. Decor is simple but sufficient. The 1st day we got the house dry fired using the fireplace, which is connected to a central heating system. So it quickly became hot and dry in the house. It had been raining long before we came viz. We fortunately had beautiful weather. The sun was shining in the garden s

Highly recommended if it can be simple and easy trashy. Very friendly owners, but do not live on the property, but in about 2km Agricultura. A bit of a disadvantage is strongly overgrown by trees lot. It comes through in the morning and evening not so much sun. It would not be bad times to cut down or cut back a few trees. Us has not done any harm.

A unique place. nicely furnished authentic old watermill Warm welcome by English speaking, very nice, hostess. Possibility for fine dining in the nearby farmhouse of the same owner. Certainly do! Town, supermarket, shops and restaurants within 5 minutes (by car). The kitchen is minimal, but that has zn charm. Despite arriving in the pouring rain we had a great week!

A great little spot with swimming lake and waterfall in the backyard. This also cools the warm nights. Very remote, but enjoyable in the not too distant and too near monte Sibilini. The house owners are very friendly and helpful. The lake is also used by others during the day which in turn makes for life in the brewery.

We enjoyed both the Monti Sibillini (Apennines) the Adriatic coast, both to reach by car. Within the hour Italian towns nearby such as Ascoli Piceno and Norcia, Spoleto slightly further away. The beautiful weather, swimming at the waterfall, been reading around the mill. R nThe sound of the waterfall is firm but you get used to. R nOntvangst and helpfulness of the owner was very charming.

Cottage
This cottage is located in Forcella. There are 2 bedrooms in total which can accommodate 4 people. It is ideal for a family stay. The house is surrounded by nature and is next to a waterfall. You can visit the forest which is 100 m away for hiking and trailing. The multi-cuisine restaurant and general supply shops are located 5 km away. You can enjoy the serenity of the environment near the lake which is 500 m away. The apartment is simple and rustic, but well equipped. There is a modern kitchen with all the basic cooking equipment. You can enjoy the barbecue on the terrace in the open air. The cottage has a garden with garden furniture for you to relax. You can dive in the natural swimming pool which is near this cottage. There is a parking facility and you can bring 1 pet along. The water in the house can be used for cooking, washing and toilets but it is not mineral.
Mineral water for the family will be in a container with a glass dispenser in the kitchen, in case it runs out it will be refilled for free.
The Mill overlooks a river, with side access you can take a swim in the pond.
This place is very popular and in high season hikers reach the end to take photos and relax.
In Italy, rivers, waterfalls and the sea are never prIvated.
So if you choose the Mulino, remember that on weekends, especially in July and August, the small lake, not far from the mill, will also be frequented by other explorers.
